We blew in at around 9:30 pm during the January Freeze. Gabe welcomed us with humor and warmth. He…read morepointed us to the coffee and hot chocolate; and advised that the front desk was fully staffed 24/7! He was very helpful even lending assistance with a problem we had with our room and arranged for a later than usual check-out although that never happened... Room was like a little suite. Full sized fridge, real dishes, glasses, and silverware. Dishwasher to run after use. Though it seemed clean overall; there was some crumbs and dirt all around the AC unit near the window! We ended up staying 2 nights due to the road conditions. Visha (?) very helpful and kind; let us keep same room. Breakfast was good; coffee fresh and plentiful. Seemingly good options for breakfast. Not upscale; but decent enough for the locale. The staff warrant giving it a four star!

You could park a golf cart in side and still have room to maneuver. Great for ADA accessibility. It was like two rooms in one. There is a Curtin to help isolate the bedroom area from the sleeper couch. Since this is a suite you have a full kitchenette with a full size fridge, microwave, dishwasher, and sink. They provide plates, coffee mugs and silverware. Only thing missing was a stovetop, which is available upon requests for safety. Breakfast available from 6-10. Pool, gym and business center. For the business person that needs to stay somewhere for a few days for business, H2 Suites would be my first choice. The parking lot is well lit. Secure doors for the rooms and plenty of amenities. Thanks to the staff here for making my experience welcoming. Michael C. - Georgetown, Tx.

Had a REAL relaxing retreat here. Peace, quiet and the positive vibes all throughout the place. The jacuzzi with the sun-roof with only the sounds of the waves and water trickling gently was amazing. The hike and run around the property then coming back to Mariah's home-cooked meals. Mariah was a great host and cook! Every food served were homemade with care and delish! I will definitely recommend this place to anyone who wants some 2-3 day peace and tranquility. A weekend getaway or recharge from the stressful busy-ness of everyday life. Away from it but not too far... This is really THE PLACE.

She made delicious home-cooked vegetarian meals for me and suggested several places for me and my dog to hike. Now, if you expect internet access, you're not going to have a strong service here. Most of the area have little to no service, but that's what one should expect when going on a retreat. If you need a place to recharge yourself and relax from the hustle and bustle, try this place! The location is a bit confusing to find at first, but it gets easier to navigate the area once you've settled in. The views are breathtaking and I forget that I'm in Texas sometimes. There are state parks in the area and Canyon of the Eagles which is only about a mile away. This is a piece of paradise you don't want to miss out on.

This is a cute property right off Lake Buchanan…read more The property has a fishing pier with three poach swings and is lit up at night as well. There's a lounge area, that might have been a swim area but the lake was extremely low when we visited, so I'm not sure. There a patio with a grill, fish fry and smoker for guest to use and some hammocks. I think they used to rent kayaks and stuff but the owner said they were damaged in a recent storm, and there is a boat ramp. The rooms are spacious, with a kitchenette, and very clean. The bed was comfortable and the AC worked great in the unit. The shower is small and had no hot water, which was barely tolerable was we did not visit when it was hot outside. Also lake gnats. They are everywhere and while completely harmless, they do get in your room even when you are careful. In the back is a long, open patio area with chairs and grills that can be used. This is a shared space with your neighbors. It's definitely a place to go and relax for a few days. It would be good for fishing, lake activities and reading. The owner was very nice and communicative. Although I saw in another review that this place was pet friendly, and that is NOT true. There are sign's everywhere that say no pets and there's extra fees if they stay with you.

Glenda wanted a little peace and quiet on our 34th anniversary. And here's what she got! PSI is a…read morereally neat little place. First, it's gated, so only guests staying at the inn are there. All the regular rooms are in one long building. That means everyone has the same back patio, which I didn't like. Whether your just relaxing, or cooking on the included grill, it puts your neighbors too close to you. But what a view of the sunset! The swimming area is a little small if a lot of people are there, but just great when it's not crowded. The rooms are very basic, but have everything you need. Beds were soft and the A/C worked like a champ. I booked Saturday and Sunday nights, so the second day we were the only ones there. Peace and quiet! We swam. We fished. Well, actually we just fed the fish, cause we sure didn't catch any. There was an automatic fish feeder on the dock. When it went off in the dark, it scared the s**t out of Glenda. I laughed so hard! At night, they fired up the fire pit, which was really nice. There is a container in the frig which had stuff to make s'mores If you want to. We just kicked back and relaxed. After 34 years with me, you need a little relaxation! We took walks around the neighborhood. There were deer everywhere! And some friendly. This is a very nice place if your looking for a weekend retreat. I thought it was a little pricy, but everywhere has gone in that direction. Pay up buddy! By the way, it's right across the cove from the Vanishing Texas River Cruise, which we definitely enjoyed.
