My sister and I both brought a dog each and they loved it. The owner Denise was lovely! We drove in Friday after work from Austin. Got there in time to watch the sunset. There's a reason it's called Painted Sky Inn! Each room has a little box in the fridge of S'mores stuff for a small extra fee and there's supposedly a fire every night, was both nights we stayed there and we used it to make S'mores. There as filtered water in the fridge and Denise did tell us we could have more if needed. Not a lot of food close by so we brought our own food for the weekend. We used the stovetop and all the plates and pans to make meals. Saturday we rented some kayaks and kayaked to the small island in the middle of the lake and did some swimming.
