Redbone is located in a building with plenty of parking. We came on learly on a Friday evening and there were plenty of tables. The atmosphere was welcoming. I loved some of the funky chandeliers. They were setting up for live music. We sat inside, but they also have a huge outdoor patio area. The beer and pizza were good. Probably a 4/5 but what won me over was our server, Sarah! One of the coolest places in Texarkana! Come here to share a pint, watch the game, play trivia, see live music, or enjoy a book with a pizza in hand. Redbone can either be packed or totally quiet & cozy depending on the day. We love their pizza (got just pepperoni & mushroom this time) that they cook in their built-in wall oven. Beers are good too, and last time we were in we were able to watch some college football (day after Thanksgiving). Servers are super nice. Some minor notes: the beer cheese is a little different (not like velveeta or whatever) & the bathroom is quite large but can get a little chilly in winter. We stopped in on our way through Texarkana because it was recommended by the hotel staff. Redbone did not disappoint! The staff were so kind and really knowledgeable about all the spring drink offerings. We tried the Mexican lager for spring and their mead as well. Both were delicious and we liked all the beer menu had to offer. The onion rings were incredible, the batter they used was perfectly crispy and complemented the onion flavors so well. We stopped by on our way home. It was Mother's Day and there was a good crowd. We had been driving for a while so we chose to stand at the bar in front of the pizza oven. Redbone is a great place to go to. If you're looking for a spot with live entertainment and great food, this is one of the best in Texarkana. The service has always been okay. I've been here many times and have had many servers and it all seems to be the same each time. Wonderful servers, who are nice and polite. However, it seems they may have too many tables, so you typically run out of drinks and have to wait a while before you can ask for a refill. I'm not sure what the table to server ratio is, but I would suggest 3:1, especially with as many large groups that come in. As far as the food. Most of which is wonderful. They have GREAT pizzas and burgers as well has a good selection of appetizers. Even a great selection of sandwiches, which I went with the Cuban this time. I've had many Cuban sandwiches in my day and there isn't many options to get one around here, so when I seen they had one, I was excited. The sandwich was okay. My only complaint is that it had a bit too many pickles. Yes, Cuban sandwiches is supposed to have pickles but in my opinion, this sandwich had to many, which made it over powering. All in all, Redbone is one of my favorite spots and I encourage anyone looking for a spot with good beer, music and food, to come here! read more

This is a fun bar and restaurant in the Texarkana area. We came by after a hike in Atlanta state park and had decent service. It took awhile to get our food, and it wasn't warm by the time it got to us, but they seemed very busy so we understood. It also took awhile for us to find our waitress to ask for the checks, but she was very friendly. Despite being a bar, it was very kid friendly and they even had live music out back. Stopped in early on a Friday night. Enjoyed the outside seating as we were traveling with a dog. Outside seating is great and servers found us promptly and were quite attentive. (Special note - they even brought an unrequested bowl of water for the pup!). They have a good selection of beers on draft. I considered the flight but went with a good red ale. I ordered the Taco Magic, which is essentially a taco salad. Very good! Crisp fresh lettuce, taco meat was nice and savory and other ingredients were spot on. Great meal! If I could give it more than 5 stars, I would. The Black Magic pizza is what dreams are made of. I'm very picky and I inhaled this pizza like it was my last meal. The Invisible Deck fries and cheese curbs smothered in gravy have changed my, apparently limited, view of how to eat fries. All fries should be smothered in gravy. My husbands Sim Sala Bim was out of this world. The best part about this place? It's far away from our home because we would gain a ton of weight living close! My husband drank the Vanilla Bean Locus Cider and we are buying a growler to take back home to Indiana. I forgot to mention the amazing owners! They introduced themselves when we walked in the door. Driving along the 30, we needed lunch. Went through Yelp and found this place. It is a very big place with lots of seating and long family style tables. They have a large beer selection, but since I was driving, I just had iced tea. We ordered a couple of appetizers, including onion rings and chicken strips with fries. The onion rings were some of the best I've ever had. Battered right there with a tasty beer batter and fried to perfection. Perfect bite through and no pulling of the onion out of the batter. The chicken was quite large pieces of chicken breast breaded and fried. They had great crunch and flavor. The fries served with the chicken were cut on site and fried. They also had fantastic flavor. Stopped in for lunch while driving from Arkansas to Texas. I had hoped to get in and put within an hour. Ordered a beer flight from a nice server, and food shortly after. The beer was OK, but they were out of some of their "flagship" beers. The place wasn't busy, about less than half full. My partner got her food, while I waited... close to a half hour later, I still hadn't been served my meal! At that point, she was already finished with hers. The manager came over and comp'd my meal, which was nice. She turned around and it came up at the window, which then went into a box, so I could eat it in the car. So the reason this is two stars and not one, is down the the friendly and apologetic server and the manager, who were clearly frustrated with the kitchen. I don't usually make a big deal about dining issues, but it's almost as if they lost my ticket in the back, and didn't think about the timing of things. I walk in, its a larger venue than the other places I've been in this little town and it seemed like the entire town was here. I find room at the bar and grab a seat. A few more mins past by and they asked if I have been helped yet, "nope." So, he finally helps me. I love to try local so I ask for what beers are made in house, unfortunately, he wasn't really familiar, but he helped me as much as he could. He gave me a few samples and I finally found a beer that was decent. Sex in a Deer Stand, a lager. I look over the menu for food and there were a few options I was torn between. He raves on how great the pizza is because of the wood fired pizza oven and I LOVE PIZZA - so I order the Royal Flush pizza minus the olives. I was not impressed. It was a Thursday and lucky me, I was able to sit in on a comedy show. $5 for a wrist band, cash only. The MC was hilarious, a lot of back and forth banter with the crowd which is always a fun time. Some of the comedians however were not so funny. Aesthetically, I like the way this place looked. The bathroom decor was so interesting and eclectic. For my appetizer, I ordered the lemon pepper wings that came with fries, and beer battered onion rings, which I absolutely LOVED; I'm not even an onion ring fan but they were amazing. Definitely a must try! I'm not much of a beer fan either but I decided to do a sample of four beers that came in this cute little holder shaped like a bone. The Vanilla Bean Cider was my favorite. For my entree, I ordered the Royal Flush wood fired pizza which was delicious. I also tried the Peach Bellini and Watermelon Madness Wine-a-Rita's and they were soooo good. Excellent service from the waiter. COVID: Unfortunately waiters weren't wearing any masks so I had to take a star off for this. Also, you seat yourself so no social distancing enforced. Boy do I love me some breweries - as in I have an officially unofficial attachment to visiting them, so I figured while I was in Texarkana I had to at least try it. I would give more stars if I could, we flew into Texarkana on our way to Broken Bow to experience the solar eclipse. Someone on the plane mentioned a few restaurants and a brewery which caught the stewards attention as well as mine. Once on the ground I yelped places to eat and Redbone Magic Brewing Co. came up, we went. When we walked thru the door they let us know that the kitchen had closed but we could drink still. Then the manager came up and said that even though the kitchen had just closed she could still throw a few pizzas on for us so we stayed. Pizza was bomb! Their own brews were also fantastic. Service was very nice and attentive. Then the magic happened. The owner, who has done Magic for over 35 years came over to show us a few tricks he had. They were fun and truly amazing. The last trick he performed, he had us sign a card, pulled it out of many different places then banded the deck with a rubber band and threw it at the ceiling.
