We just walked out. We stopped here on a drive back to Dallas. No one was there to seat us when we walked in we didn't know if we needed to find our own seats. Finally other patrons told us to find our own seat they had the same issue. 10 mins later we are still waiting for someone to come to us we tried to order at the bar but were not allowed to. A lot of bar staff and waitstaff standing around. Would not recommend if you want good service. read more

The pizza was fantastic, and cooked right in a wood burning oven built into the wall. I had the cheeseburger pizza, topped with cheese, pickles, tomatoes, and ground beef... and a dijon mustard base. The staff was friendly and eager to help/recommend. I think it adds so much charm and flavor to Texarkana, and I hope they continue to succeed. I do wish they had some house made ciders, rather than just the one locust cider (which is still delicious!) The Shell game nachos are also note-worthy. Bottle that sauce and sell it! I'd definitely come back and bring the whole crew, especially for some live music or during patio weather. read more

First time here and thoroughly enjoyed the place, food and cider! Service needs works!!!! Will defiantly come back to seek the progress, I am sure it can only get better from here. Returned about a month 1/2 later and it went south! WORST SERVICE EVER!!! I had to ask if I could order a drink, appetizer, food and the check (more than once)! Not once were we checked on or asked if we were ready to put in an order! We waited over 2 1/2 to eat and close our tab. In visited once when this place opened and thought the kinks would get worked out...seems like they haven't. Worst part I invited (& recommended) this place to a co-worker on their bday. Update 7/31: I've continued to visit this place because they carry my favorite cider, food isn't bad and it's local which I like to support when I can. I have also continued to bring mu co-workers and friends who visit- in hopes that their service to customer will get better. I am pleased to share that Ashley and Lewis have given me a bit of a different opinion of this place. Ashley was able to successfully take care of a large group of us without much of may issues; in short she was great! We just moved here not long ago. I'm always looking for a fun atmosphere. Love the ambiance and people. I'd love for the tortilla chip refill (since it didn't come with everything, just the chips) to be included in the cost rather than an up charge of $3 extra after purchasing the salsa/queso and chips appetizer. This was on trivia night Wednesday's where I noticed people were ordering and reordering the delicious looking pizza. We would've stayed longer, even though later arriving people weren't allowed to participate upon arrival if it was after the time to sign up. Consider changing it from a writing game to a calling on people and getting people involved by talking game. The interaction is much more lively and it would encourage others to join teams. People forced to interact out loud gives everyone a chance to feel included. I've noticed other trivia nights had only one person speaking for the group. Unless one group is locking up the game, shouldn't it be about the more the merrier than a winner? I love this place so far. Do you ever have an open mic night? Or something I just thought of can be social media live night, where someone gets on and asks the crowd a question about something they want to learn or know or even share, and someone in the audience may know the answer or may have insight for resources. If we want to come together as a community we could be a listening ear for those that want more creativity in their lives. I'm young and retired and I'm busy with kids. Going somewhere to let off steam looks different to many people. Do you plan on having dancing? Salsa lessons perhaps? I know so many ladies that need an afternoon while the kids are in school to get together. Maybe a mindful meditation session or yoga. There's a pottery class I want to take but it's so inconvenient and I think they are always looking for a place to hold classes. Just some thoughts. Great atmosphere! Beautiful building! Attention to detail and customer service were lacking and disappointing though. Half the beers on the list on the wall were out - but no sign over them saying so- so everything we wanted wasn't available. Then several of the beers on the menu were out as well. And at least one beer that wasn't on the menu or wall , but was available, wasn't offered from the server. The manager did tell us about it, though (after situation below). My friend settled on that and liked it. We were both going to do flights-but couldn't find several beers we wanted to try. I tried to drink the beer I finally settled on, (2 sips), but I just didn't like it. Because it wasn't 'full' - the server wouldn't exchange it for something else. I thought the manager would be able to take care of it - but same story! (the bar probably wastes more beer than that during some pours!). She even told me I should have asked for a sample first! I then just ordered a mixed drink, because I was so ticked off and didn't want to mess with their beers. That set the mood for my visit...not good, so I wasn't able to enjoy my evening with friends! The drink menus are on paper - so they should be easy to change and make right. The manager said the owners were out of town, and they have to do the changes. Seems kind of important that they could have done before leaving or the manager should be able to do. ('Aug menu' still offered several days into Sept over Labor Day weekend). Would also be nice to have descriptions on the house beers. The wood fired pizzas looked amazing, but were burnt on the bottom. Because of the beer issue - we didn't bring it up to anyone, as four of us had taken a slice - so 2 slices from each pizza, therefore we figured they wouldn't do anything about it. The Buffalo pizza was salty somehow...several of us thought so...and not a lot of flavor. The pizza with pesto was good, but the pesto made the whole crust oily. It'd help if they served it on something that would soak some of that up or lift it. Lots of potential, but my experience wasn't good. Buyer beware. read more

Food was delicious. But better than the food there alcoholic beverage selection of homemade craft beers and cider's were delectable. Only downside was service was quite lousy. Don't know if it was a busy night but we sat at a table for over 20 minutes before getting up and grabbing a waiter myself. The food was killer, the service was fantastic and the owners are a class act. Not to mention the live music being a great addition. This is what you get when you have owners who care about their establishment enough to be there making it happen. The free beans were off the charts delicious too. Excited and Energetic Staff, really decent menu selection, and the Beers... well, not only a decent selection of Craft Beers but their own Brews can certainly stand toe-to-toe. Was only in town for three nights and ate here two of them. The first night I had a flight of 5 beers, liked them all. Also had some wings which were very good along with hand cut fries, also very good. I went back to try the pizza because it looked amazing and it was. Also visited with the brewer for about 39 minutes, very interesting. Nice place, great staff, great food. read more

This place is truly magic! The food and staff are outstanding! We recently stopped on our way home to Dallas from North Carolina. The outdoor patio area is great and kept super cool by several fans and some covered seating. There are outdoor games and lots of places to relax with friends. We had onion rings, pizza, and a hot dog. All of our food was excellent! I was very impressed by the delicious wood fire pizza. We enjoyed some wonderful conversation with our fabulous waitress and one of the other staff members. Everyone was so friendly and welcoming. The beer was great too, my husband even took some home! We've been talking about this place since we came home and already planning our next visit! You should definitely check this place out! read more
