I was greeted upon entry, and immediately shared that I had never been before and was just looking around. They have so many options and sections of the store are designated for varieties (Green Tea, Oolong Tea, Black Tea, Etc.) to make shopping easier. That said, I didn't want to go through everything and enlisted the help of one of the employees. She (a young woman with blonde hair) was very helpful! I described what I was typically into, and from there she recommended a few options. They have glass jars that you can sniff for a sense of the teas flavor. Quick tip, shake it up first. They have decaf options, options on clearance, and 2oz vs 4oz packages. In addition are tea making supplies (pots, looseleaf holders, cups, etc.), as well as a short menu of a drinks you can buy. I ended up with two packs, and a freebie. While there's no indoor seating, there were a couple of tables and chairs outside, I imagine for those who get pre-made drinks. As for the teas I purchased, I haven't tried them yet. Fingers crossed they tastes as good as they smelled.

Contrast in the best of ways. I had the hot matcha chocolate drink. Its creamy and nice however a touch of bitter. My aunt and sister had the strawberry dream and I agree that the bubbles are good. They aren't too sweet, not too soft, but not undercooked by any means. I also want to mention that the drinks aren't creamy (aside from the chocolatey ones) and that they aren't filled with grams upon grams of sugar. Jinx's boba is lighter but the flavors are still there. I suspect that when people call the drinks watery, that they were expecting a conventional boba tea. I put up some photos of the shop and it's simple, clean, and aesthetically pleasing. The environment it chilled out and a place I would bring my laptop to. The staff's pretty nice and open to telling you about themselves and what they stand for. Which is sustainability without shoving it down your throat for example biodegradable cups and lids (and im totally for it). They also pride themselves on having a different approach to steeping the tea, which is cold brewed (it's essentially where tea is steeped in cold water for an extended period of time). This allows the tea to give off a different set of flavors and notes that hot tea doesn't have. Overall it's a good spot. Its affordable, clean, and I would go back. If you have an adventurous spirit, an open mind, or just curious then I'd definitely give it a try. Tip: Ask Questions! The matcha is also amazing and made authentically, which you can really taste in the quality. They clearly take a lot of pride in how their drinks are prepared. The atmosphere is calm and peaceful, which makes it such a nice place to slow down and enjoy your tea. You can sit at traditional tea tables on tatami mats, shoes off, which adds to the whole experience and makes it feel very intentional and relaxing. The owners and staff are incredibly friendly and welcoming. They also have a wonderful selection of loose leaf teas, kettles, mugs, and other tea accessories for sale.
