I especially love that DSW carries Sorel boots. My latest pair is a lightweight boot that feels like a running shoe. It was 20% off on the sale rack but there's a similar version on the floor boot section that is newer and not yet on sale. Sales and deals: While the sale section here is not as big as other locations, like schaumberg, you can still find some great deals in the sale shoes and other Winter wear right now. Staff: The sales people are really helpful in answering questions and placing an order to ship if needed. Social distancing and masks required in the store and there are tables to leave your "try ons." Coupons: And don't forget your DSW discount if you received a coupon in the mail. I found out that these don't always transfer to your account and you have to have the mailer in order to get the additional discount. Store hours: Also be sure to check hours online. The Arboretum seems to have different hours depending on the store, as I found out this past week. Parking: Plenty of free parking here, especially now, close to the store entrance. The Arboretum is a great place to take a walk outside.

When I tried to check-in, I realized that this location wasn't on Yelp, so I added them. (The manager was very happy I did that.) While the women shopped, I took a few pictures and posted them right away. For the few times I go clothes shopping with family, I know how hard it is to find petite clothing. This Talbots has one of the largest selection of Petites I've seen anywhere. Both found a number of things they liked. (And I have to admit, looked good.) We patronized, and found things; we paid (and got a $30 discount for joining their buying club). Then, it was off to dinner.

The cashier was very apologetic and I said not to worry, I will speak to the customer service online. I have to say, I felt very judged by the manager. She was rude and dismissive. She had no desire to speak with me at all, much less try and help me with the discrepancy. I purchased two tops, so I'm not sure why she was so bothered. It may have been because the shoe box with the shoes I returned was beat up, broken and had a rubber band holding it together. However, they were shipped to me in that state and I was returning because they were too narrow. I likely would have shopped around more if she didn't make me feel so unwelcome. One other thing - the clothes at this store are not that affordable. The quality is not THAT good to afford such a rude employee. This visit to the store was a big disappointment for me, as I don't live close by.

Like many stores wanting to move merch out before new items arrive. Many items are priced aggressively, like 70 percent off, while some are 40 percent off. It's kind of a fun time too because there are Winter and holiday items priced low, but new merch for late Winter or Spring are just in and regularly priced. Clothing and apparel here is superior quality and made for long time wear. Last year, I found a women's belted trench coat here on sale for under $40 and I am sure I will have it for life. I must have been asked several times if I needed help finding anything and the store personnel are always friendly and helpful, without being aggressive. Bonus for being pet friendly, and having clean, spacious dressing rooms and customer restrooms on-site. If you bring your pups, It's a nice area to walk them outside, before or after you shop too.

Today, that meant absolutely nothing. I sent my daughter money through Venmo to buy items for me. When I went to return them, the store refused to refund my card or offer any kind of reasonable solution -- even after I explained that my daughter now lives in Columbia, MO and I was just trying to avoid the ridiculous hassle of shuffling money back and forth. No empathy. No flexibility. No effort. Just a cold, policy-over-people "no." What should have been a quick, human interaction turned into a frustrating, disappointing experience that left me feeling completely dismissed as a customer. After years of loyalty, Duluth didn't just lose a sale today -- they lost me for life. Extremely disappointed.

Why are items on the floor if you won't sell them? I have…read morespent hours in this store searching for an item only to find it has no price tag. The staff then refuses to sell it to me, stating they cannot because it's unpriced. This is a terrible policy. If an item is on the floor, it should be available for purchase, and the store should be able to quickly determine a price. By turning customers away, you are losing easy business. Frankly, I know the second I leave, that item will be put back out with some randomly chosen, overpriced number on it anyway. The refusal to make a sale over a simple missing tag shows a serious disregard for customer time and loyalty.

It took us to get their attention to have someone come up to check us out. Once Marcia came to the register, she wasn't friendly. The box the shoes came in was destroyed and didn't have a lid. We asked her for a new one and she said that's the only one they had. I signed up for the email program to save $5 on my purchase and didn't get the email coupon right away. I showed the screen showing I signed up and she would not honor the $5 off, stating she didn't have a barcode and couldn't do anything about it. The customer next in line was disappointed as well, so much so that she set the shoes down and left the store. After having to wait for 1 of the 3 employees to attend to their customers, not having a put together box with a lid, and the lack of customer service environment, I am disappointed and will not visit this location again.
