Red Wings live up their hype. Automatically, when you come here you obviously already know what you're in for. A treat. My review is based on our personal experience at this location. The brand itself is already more than five stars. Robert was absolutely helpful and really kind and personable during my hubby's fitting experience. It was so easy to get the fitting done and get the sizing right. We spent around 15 minutes total between sizing and purchase. It was so nice even having the option to get these shipped to our home for free. The only thing is if you purchase in store, you get a 10% off discount along with a $10 off your next purchase. I had called before coming here with my son to get him some boots he needed for school. The young man who helped me on the phone was very nice and took the time to check to see if we had the boots in the sizes that I asked for as we weren't sure of the exact size my son needed. Even though there were other people in the store, as soon as we walked in, the guy who was working there, who apparently was the only one working somehow immediately knew that I was the one who had called. He actually already had the boots waiting on the counter for us when we came in which I thought was really nice. My son tried on a couple of pairs of boots but then we noticed everything in the store saying that their boots were true to fit and would be the fitted perfectly to your foot.. Apparently they have a machine that you could stand on that will size your foot for you. My son decided to try that and was surprised to find that the perfect fit for him was about a size smaller than he thought he needed. He was able to get the boots he needed and we were in and out of there pretty quickly. Although they weren't cheap they come with a really good warranty. The guy helping us was nice but he was busy since there were 3 other people there and he was working alone. This was the place that a few people had mentioned to me when I had said my son needed to buy boots and I know they're the store that many firefighters and police officers go to buy their boots. The employee didn't seem overwhelmed at all & managed to help everyone in a timely manner. He took his time to make sure to get the right measurements of my feet & also told me about their year warranty. I found the boots I needed & was out of there pretty quickly. This is a great place to get work boots if you work in a heavy machinery place or anywhere where heavy items can fall on your toes. They offer a wide array of work boots, dress shoes, and sneakers with aluminum or steel toes. It's a small store in a plaza with a few parking spots out front. When we walked in, we were immediately greeted by the employees. There were two people working and the gentleman that helped us was very friendly and helpful. We picked out a pair that are sneakers with aluminum toes. This sneaker was very light. The sneaker with the steel toe was much heavier. The associate said that aluminum toes are safer than the steel toes and that they were a hot, new, and popular item. I'm not sure what the exact science behind that was, we just took his word for it. They also offer a year warranty on the pair of shoes and you could go back and have your shoes cleaned every three months. He had us stand on a machine that shows the pressure points on your feet on a monitor. He also tied the shoes and laced it for us. In the end, this is a great store for work shoes if you're in the industry that requires it. I highly recommend it since the employees were friendly, helpful, and informative; they also have a good selection. read more

I've never heard of Red Wing's before but they have been around since 1905. They are known for durable, high comfort and high quailty work boots for both men and women. My boyfriend and I came here over the weekend looking for a pair of work boots for his job. As soon as we walked in the door we were warmly greeted by the two gentleman working. Our salesman was a darling, older gentleman named Marty. He measured my boy's foot and talked about shoe sizing. He was very knowledgeable, helpful and not to mention, kind. After trying on a few, he found the perfect pair of boots. I even tried on a pair for fun and OMG were they comfy! The prices are a little on the high side ($100-260ish) however, when your soles get worn, they will replace the soles & insoles for about $75. To be honest, they are so well made, we probably won't be needing to take advantage of that service for quite some time. To sum it up, if you are in a profession where you are on your feet all day (construction worker, nurse, mechanic, service man/woman, etc) Red Wing Shoes will have something for you. read more

Very small store, but great quality. The products are insanelly good. Buy any of their boots and you will have them for life (re-soling ready products). Amazing experience. You don't find salesmanship anymore like you do at this store. We wish we would've obtained the gentleman's name that took care of us. Incredibly informative, very professional and did not push or hover on us to make a sale. The quality of the brand, shoe and sock was delivered magnificently. The care given to show us the proper shoe, the care of your foot, the type of sock to wear was incredible. The store manager was very friendly and nice as well. great customer service from carlos, i had a pair of work shoes that were a couple of months out of warranty , carlos said he would cover the warranty anyway. refitted me with a better shoe and included new ortho insoles also. he took his time to make sure i was getting the correct shoe, i am on my feet all day long and these new shoes fit great. thank you for excellent customer service and giving me warranty when they really didn't need to do so. carlos is excellent, i will be back for more shoes in the spring. read more
