I had thrown out my back the day before and was looking for a little bit of love for my lower back to help bring the inflammation down. She made me feel so relaxed and I appreciated how much time she spent really focusing on my lower back. I felt incredibly relaxed when I left and I'm recovering faster because of her massage. The location is super accessible to all trains, the massage tables are so soft, warm, clean and comfy and their overall presentation is clean and comfy. I didn't think this place was too small at all, I actually thought it was bigger than most. Loved Carmen, such a warm and gentle soul. I called on a Saturday afternoon and he told me he was too busy to schedule an appointment and have me call on Tuesday morning. Not ideal but I said ok and marked my calendar to call on Tuesday. I call Tuesday and ask if there is any time for a gel manicure that night and he rudely said no and that was it. So I asked is there anytime this week around 6:30pm and he rudely said no. Then I asked what the latest time that was available this week and he said Wednesday at 6pm and I said ok I will take that. Then he asks in a rude tone, will you be able to make it? I was very turned off right from the get go and just needed to redeem my damn groupon. Then the real sticker shock was when it costs $10 to take off your gel manicure!! I have not heard that before, every place I have been to it is complimentary if you are getting a gel manicure. And it is taxed so it comes out to $10.45. Will definitely not return to this place for it's terrible service and pricey rates for their service. For gel they did not even have that many colors and did not have swatches for them! I felt they did not do the best cuticle job as well and she took forever to get my gel off. There are sooo many other places to get your nails done and the only reason I went here was because the groupon was so cheap for the gel manicure. But after the additional $10, it did not come out as great of deal and I am still disgusted with the type of service I received.

She explained which type of facials are offered and how each one would be beneficial to me, but left it completely up to me to decide which one to do. The space is very chic, nicely decorated and gives off great calming spa vibes. We had a brief consultation in which Athena closely observed my face and gave me her recommendations on which facial to go with. I went with the basic facial which runs about 45 minutes and she got to work! I was in need of extractions badly and she did such a great job. I was very satisfied with the results as I left with clean and glowing skin. After the facial we discussed some skin care suggestions and made a follow up appointment. Definitely recommend!!!

The waiting area smelled unpleasant like old food but thankfully my wait was short. There is a shared bathroom on the floor but it only had 1 used bar soap and cloth towel for everyone to wash and dry hands which isn't sanitary. I had to pay a groupon "tax" of $5 which didn't make sense because even if u add normal NY sales tax to the regular price it's still less than $5. Not sure how they are doing their math. Aside from all this, the actual staff and service were great. The masseuse did a wonderful job easing the soreness in my back.

Yes they do 2 facials at a time but they only move back and forth while you steam or while you lay with your finishing mask. They don't stop working on you to work on someone else. I don't mind this since it's probably how they keep their prices down. The prices are extremely reasonable for the amount of time, product and work they do. I walked out glowing and their is nothing better for staying young than keeping your face clean. I would highly recommend this place and Ramona. I'll be back next month.

They…read moreadvertise that the facials are an hour and a half long but they don't mention that it's that long because they do two clients at the same time. While one person is getting something down, the other person waits then vise versa. This is how they schedule them (t's NOT because an employee didn't show up or they tried to fit another person in). A couple came in after us and they were also told that they perform facials 2 at a time. Both beds are right next to each other in what can only be described as a wide hallway (people have to walk through to get to the back). She started on me first before my nephew arrived and was brought in for his treatment. While I was getting extractions, he waited under the vapor (for longer than anyone should). While he was getting extractions, I was left waiting with a mask on. My nephew is a teenager with hormonal acne so I knew I was going to have to wait a long time before she would finish with me. After about 15-20 minutes, I used the excuse that I needed to use the bathroom to get up. While in the bathroom I noticed that the band she used to pull my hair back was stained. I can't confirm what the stains were but I have an idea of what it could be. I would have never seen it if it weren't for the fact that I got up to use the bathroom. When I returned, I watched her do extractions on my nephew for a few minutes. She used a tool I didn't recognize (it looked like a razor with a point at the end). Never once did she ask him if he was okay or he needed a break or anything at all. After waiting another 10-15 minutes, I finally told her I had to leave and she put my nephew under the vapor again while she took off the mask and finished my facial. My nephew was there for a total of TWO AND A HALF HOURS. Again, it's one thing if the 1.5-2.5 hours were all focused on you, but it's not. Half the time you're waiting for your turn. There were other things I had issues with but I think this is enough for one review.
