Amazing experience from first contact!! I am a passionate dog rescuer. I have rescued countless (in the hundreds) of dogs from high kill Bay Area shelters over the past couple of decades. I even founded and ran my own rescue organization many years ago (Tails of Love), and my focus was rescuing the dogs who were dumped and then overlooked by adopters and other rescues (DOGS: Discarded and Overlooked Get Saved). Now I have a gifted child who is also neurodivergent and has significant sensory processing issues, OCD, and accompanying severe anxiety. I needed an "ideal" dog to train as a service dog, and since he will eventually be in school with her for many years, he has to be a low-shedding breed. I looked and looked in my networks and couldn't find a suitable candidate. I finally turned to RW&D, and I cannot find the words to adequately express what a dream our whole experience has been!!! Our tiny puppy is perfect, and already great with the potty training. We got our dog Cosmos from Hillarie at red white & doodle. He is such a sweet dog, and he is certainly well-loved (and spoiled). It was such a joy being able to see the pups progress through photos and videos after they were born because Hillarie will post live via Facebook and instagram. Our Cosmos is such a tease because he can be loving and cuddly then go barking and nibbling your fingers. If ever there was a business that is easy for me to give 5 stars to, it's Red White & Doodle -- mostly because the product of my relationship with RW&D has been by my side daily for almost 5 years now, a member of our family and by far the best dog I've ever been lucky enough to love. Meribel (formerly Stout from the Corona litter back in 2020) is, like, a unicorn of a dog. She is the most loving, committed little person (honestly, I can't imagine a more person-like dog). She doesn't shed AT ALL (like, I could brush her for an hour and have one or two hairs on the brush) but also doesn't mat (we get her groomed every six weeks and almost never brush in between). She has been the healthiest dog we've ever owned (knock on wood) -- of course we bought pet insurance because our last three labs/lab mixes were so costly, and here Meribel is, five years old and has only had two ear infections ever (those floppy ears will get you). She has the sophistication and intelligence of a poodle, will run, play, fetch, swim, and hike all day like a lab or golden, and then, at home, will just chill in whatever room of the house we're in. As long as she is close to her people, she's happy. I love RW&D not just because they helped this gem of a dog come into the world, but because they helped us know she was the one for us. I don't know of any breeder ANYWHERE who films the puppies' births and then posts videos of them EVERY SINGLE DAY until they go home with their families. We saw Meribel's litter almost daily for the first 8 weeks of her life, and being able to see their personalities and behavior before choosing her (versus just a few still pictures, which I understand is the norm for many breeders) let us know not just how adorable she was, but that she was the perfect fit for our family. By puppy picking day, we had narrowed it down to two potential pups, and Hillarie sat down with me to discuss their personalities (and even let me come visit a second time) to make sure we had the right pup. We did -- Meribel is an absolute dream. I would never even consider getting another dog if it weren't from RW&D. I've recommended RW&D left and right over the last five years and personally know 5 friends who have gotten their puppies on my recommendation -- all are amazing. My kids' school even has one of the puppies as the school dog -- talk about a perfect fit for kids and families! I couldn't recommend RW&D any more highly. read more

We are one of the "reserve" families for RWD! We have one of the female dogs that they breed for puppies. What an honor it has been to have our Ginny girl be a part of their program! We were looking for a puppy and RWD was looking for a family for Ginny. It was a match made in heaven! Ginny is with our family 24/7/365, except for the "love connection" and then the delivery and until her pups are weaned. As her forever-family we get to be with her at their house while she is away from us as often as we can. When it came time for Ginny to birth her pups, she went up a couple of days in advance. The morning of her delivery we got the call that the pups were coming! What a delight and blessing it was to join them for Ginny's delivery and then as often as we could be there with her as the puppies grew and developed. It was such a joy to hear and see the intentionality of their work and the choosing of families for each puppy. They are thoughtful, kind, and loving about the whole process. Hillarie and Warren would send us texts and pictures when we were gone and they took such loving care of our girl and her little pups. Being around so much with the pups I can attest that RWD and family LOVE THEIR PUPPIES!!! RWD was absolutely great and made our search for a puppy super easy. Hillarie communicated well, right from the initial interest to checking in with us after receiving the puppy. It was great having a local breeder that was well recommended by friends and that we could meet in person. It was also really special to witness the birth and initial days and weeks thru Hillarie's social media page. It was obvious the mom and puppies were taken cared of and loved by Hillarie's family.
