That's how you know your dog loves and trusts your kennel choice. I highly recommend Furtropolis- this is the best kennel and doggie daycare in San Jose. Stella hated going to other places we had tried first. I am so thankful to have found Marielle and Furtropolis. Sadly I had to say goodbye to Stella earlier this week. She was 13 and had a great life, but I feel that adding Furtropolis to Stella's world made her last two years her best. And for that I am very thankful .

When I got back to pick up my dog, they told me it all went well so I promptly paid and left. It wasn't until 10 minutes into the car ride where I noticed he was pawing his snout and acting strange. When I had a closer look, my dog had a hole on his snout that was starting to scab over with puss coming out of it. Now here is the thing, I completely understand that things happen with dogs and I cannot blame wedogcare for the puncture. But how was it possible that I paid for a service for him to be watched for 4 days and NOONE knew what happened. I immediately drove back to their location to inform them and complain. The wound was scabbing over, so it was not fresh. My poor dog was hurt for god knows how many days, and noone noticed that he was injured? What did they do? Absolutely nothing. They offered me a refund on the grooming service. The best part... my dog was not groomed during his visit. This goes to show how well your pets will be watched at wedogcare, and how much attention they really are giving them. My dog had to get stitches on his face and wear a cone for 2 weeks. Wedogcare told me that the manager would call me to follow up to see if they could "make things right". It's been over a month and no call. I paid $240 for my dog to not be watched; an additional $1,100 vet bill later and no refund or complimentary services offered. All in all, the money does not mean anything to me. I will never use this service again as I just feel so bad my poor dog went several days injured with noone to care for him. Wedogcare, you should be ashamed!

Throughout the interaction, I found her manner to be rude and unprofessional, which made me feel uncomfortable, she also cut me off mid sentence while letting her know who I was checking in (no greeting by her of course). I understand that medical offices can be busy and stressful environments, but respectful communication is very important to patients. This is the second time I've encountered this issue with her. I would have liked to address this privately but was unable to find an email or telephone number that was not the front office. I'm sharing this feedback not to place blame, just to create awareness. All in all, I'm thankful for their services and will bring in Chapito for his groomings.

I've brought my animals here for about 10+ years now. A few years ago, my dog was diagnosed with diabetes. We worked with them for about a year to get her insulin dosage down. Bringing her in daily, every other day and weekly over that year. Giving her the insulin gave my baby 3 more years of a great happy tail wagging life. Shortly after her diagnosis, she lost her vision which started a whole new venture with a dog optometrist. A couple weeks ago, my dog started having accidents which was a red flag for something going on with her diabetes. Unfortunately, this time is was more serious. She had some antibiotics, which helped a little but she really was digressing. Sadly, we made the decision to put her down. Her favorite, Dr Fluegee was there to help keep her comfortable while she went over the rainbow. Honestly, I can't say enough about everyone here. Kate always greets us with a warm welcome and keep us. Maricela, thank you for always loving our baby. Bella, we love you and appreciate the care. Burbank is where you can count on your fur baby to have the best care!

Sad that he has retired. I cannot imagine sending my pets to any other doctors other than Dr Alvarado. If she ever leaves Burbank, I'm going wherever she goes... If anything, she might be the reason customers would leave Burbank.
