My daughter took lessons with Hannah for 12 years, and the experience has been truly life-changing. Wildewood was the first place she went when she got her drivers license and the last place she went when she left for her freshman year of college. Beyond just learning to ride, Hannah teaches responsibility, patience, confidence, and resilience--skills that extend far beyond the barn. She creates a safe, supportive environment where kids not only develop strong riding techniques but also build a deep bond with the horses and gain lifelong lessons in perseverance and dedication. Hannah's program takes place on a real, working farm--this isn't some polished, bougie equestrian center. Kids get their hands dirty and learn what it truly means to care for horses, from feeding and grooming to cleaning tack. They develop a deep respect for hard work, nature, and the animals they ride, gaining life skills that go far beyond horseback riding. Thanks to Hannah's guidance, my daughter has grown into a brilliant, capable young woman with a strong work ethic and a deep love for riding. If you want your child to learn from the best while growing in confidence and character, Wildewood Farms with Hannah is the perfect place.

This year I took my 40th birthday by the reins and ventured out to Georgia Frontiers with the…read morefamily for an hour trail ride in the great outdoors! It's been a while since I've been on a horse and this was the first ride for my kiddo. Before I forget to mention the barn is equipped with helmets if you would like one which is so awesome! After filling out the paperwork they give a brief tutorial before your ride on how to stop/start/ guide the horse to do what you want which was really helpful. The horses were so sweet and gentle my daughter rode Simon, I rode Rusty, and my husband got Bella. The trail was great a little narrow at times between trees but the horses definitely kept us on track and going smoothly. My husband ended up getting the sweetest horse who loved to stop every couple of minutes for snacks so every time we looked back he was a bit behind us lol! It made for a great moment that we will remember and laugh about for years to come! Our guide was very knowledgeable and great with my daughter who despite being nervous beforehand rode like she had been riding her whole life! Proud mama moment for sure!! Their barn cat greeted us when we got back and was all purrs & brushing up against our legs such a little cutie (check out the picture). We got to meet all of the other horses and fed our horses a treat in their buckets after the ride! We had a fantastic time and we really enjoyed the horses and the beautiful scenery! If you love horses whether you're a beginner or just want a great spot to get back in the saddle check this place out for sure! It's a blast!!

Danny, Nick, and Patience were all extremely helpful, patient, and understanding, especially since many of us were first-time ATV riders. Their pleasant attitudes and willingness to assist truly made a positive difference in our experience, and we appreciated their professionalism and kindness. Unfortunately, our interaction with the female owner significantly impacted the overall customer experience. We fully understand that, as a business owner, protecting your equipment and enforcing liability policies is important. However, customers also have the right to ask reasonable questions to protect themselves and fully understand the terms they are agreeing to. During the group discussion about liability, the owner asked if anyone had questions. I respectfully asked whether the business had procedures in place to ensure customers were not being given damaged equipment before rides began. Considering the heavy emphasis placed on customers being financially responsible for damages, I felt this was a fair and reasonable question. Instead of answering professionally, the owner responded dismissively by saying, "This is a business," followed by asking if I was "okay." I calmly responded that I was fine and believed we were simply having a discussion. Unfortunately, from that point forward, the conversation became uncomfortable. My question was never answered, the discussion was abruptly ended, and it felt as though personal feelings were allowed to interfere with professionalism. At no point was I rude, disrespectful, or confrontational. I simply asked a question that was important to me as a paying customer. Customers should never feel uncomfortable for asking reasonable questions regarding liability, especially when those concerns directly affect them financially. Excellent customer service matters just as much as the experience itself. While the staff members mentioned earlier were wonderful, I hope the owner learns that uncomfortable questions are not personal attacks -- they are simply part of doing business and ensuring customers feel informed, respected, and valued.

Local 7 lives up to its name as an ideal local hangout. This is really a 4.5 star review. It's an…read moreeasy spot to take guests from out of town or just swing by for a casual weeknight dinner. The drinks are strong, the menu is varied, and the service pretty consistent. Occasionally when seated out on the patio my partner and I have waited a while for food or to see our server, but the food is always tasty. I don't fault the servers for this, they're all really accommodating, sometimes it's just that busy! The drinks are also consistently strong & delicious, our favorites are the Mason Jar Margarita and the Tucker Tea (bourbon & sweet tea). The prices for cocktails are excellent and I hope that doesn't change any time soon. For eats, my partner gets the Steak and Frites, and would like people to know that if you tell this kitchen you want it rare, it'll be very rare bordering on bloody, so if you want on the rare side without it mooing, order medium rare. The Fish & Chips are good, but I usually go for the chicken tenders because they're tender and well-seasoned, and the fries are really good too. I get it with the delicious house-made ranch. When I indulge in an appetizer it's the basket of fried jalapeños that pair great with the aforementioned ranch and is a great portion to share with friends. If you aren't into the spicy vibe you can get a basket that's half jalapeños, half pickles which is equally tasty. I've brought plenty of people here and from the salads to the burgers, they've been consistently happy with the food. For desserts, they change daily- check the big chalkboard on the wall for the day's offerings. They source them from Southern Sweets Bakery so you know they're delicious. Parking is a little iffy but not terrible, you have the options of Main St, the parking lot around back, or the strip of parking across the street and between those options it tends to be fairly easy to find a free spot. Give them a shot!

Best burgers in town. Everyone was very friendly. Cool atmosphere. Train decor. Will be back soon.read more
