    Chicken hibachi dinner

Food was decent Service was good, and had nice recommendations. It is pretty quiet, nice calm music. Bathrooms are clean

The grade of sushi you get when ordering all you can eat. Slightly above average.

Stopped by on a Wed for the all you can eat lunch. The sushi was better than average but not stellar which is to be expected when it's AYCE. Clear soup was good but served in a plastic to-go cup. Seaweed salad was served hot which was odd but still tasty. My friend had shrimp hibachi. They said it and the rice were good. I'd give them 4 or 5 stars but we preferred to sit outside. Initially they didn't want us to and had to call the owner for permission. They have tables outside. WTH are do they think those tables are used for? My suspicion is that they thought I was going to share my AYCE sushi with friend. We got the same feeling we get being cavity searched when leaving Costco. It was quite crappy. Told them we were sitting outside or going elsewhere. They conceded. Very s****y treatment of customers. Immediate suspicion and expectation of customer theft. They need to stop projecting their culture.

picked up dinner at this express location. we shared the pork egg rolls, shrimp and noodles and sugared donuts. all dishes were delicious! picked up hot and fresh with fast counter service. although we didn't dine in, the small place appeared clean and well maintained.

I give them I solely went based on the beautiful pics from Instagram. I'd been debating over the last several months whether or not to stop in. Exhaust of previous bad reviews, but those pics just confirmed I had to try. I was disappointed!!! I ordered the Tiger Eyes and granted maybe they wouldn't have looked exactly like the pic, but I expected close to it. Also the texture is so one note, needs something crunchy. The Red Samurai Roll was so small and they left out several ingredients. I paid $11 for it. It was NOT worth the price. The fried Gyoza was over fried. I do NOT recommend them. There are other places with more affordable and better tasting sushi. Also their presentation is always on par... it's worth the drive to go to Flowood and eat at Osaka or Brandon and eat at Asahi.

I wasn't that impressed with the sushi or this restaurant to be honest. I live in Jackson but drove out to Madison for it because of the high Yelp reviews. I don't think the place is anything to write home about. I was expecting a nice evening on a date but the restaurant looks like a Panera bread. It's BYOB, too. There are lots of sauces to choose from which is fun, but the food took a bit to come out. I don't feel the need to go back.

Ordered here a lot for lunch, it is fast and clean. Love their shrimp Yakisoba. It will be awesome if they could give a little more portion of the noodles. All my clothes are XXS, and it can't fill me up!

Sushi pizza. Comes with a California roll.

I decided to try Red Samurai based on previous Yelp reviews. I had sushi only and ordered the Sushi pizza and salmon lovers roll. So the main thing that jumped out at me was that my avocado pieces were brown. I get that avocados oxidize, but for presentation purposes restaurants can't be dishing out brown avocado. I should also note that I arrived after 8pm, so maybe that's an end of day issue. The sushi pizza is a cool concept and enough food for one. Plus it comes with a California roll. The salmon lovers roll was OK, but I didn't think the mango was balanced well. I am going back. I look forward to trying the hibachi. Oh, and I wish they put chopsticks in my carryout bag!

Hibachi vegetable, no carrots with extra egg, Vegetable noodles and veggie roll and tempura chicken roll.

She was very efficient, professional and nice. She made my first visit pleasurable. I initially went to try the sushi but their lunch menu looked interesting, so I ordered the wasabi honey shrimp bento box. It came with a choice of miso soup or salad (I got the soup), fried rice and a California roll. This is by far a great bento box selection. The shrimp did not have tails, making them easier to eat. The wasabi honey dipping sauce was also delicious! I don't even like wasabi but it was very good for dipping the shrimp. The rice had a good flavor and despite me not caring for california rolls, this one was pretty good. The soup was basic but with a dash of black pepper, it turned out ok. Overall, I enjoyed my visit and look forward to dining there in the future.

All portions are generous size, lots of fish in sushi rolls, and everything was fresh and delicious. Service was good, I can't say I was blown away but really no complaints either. First time I had the sashimi dinner they don't bring miso and house salad with it which I only realized it was included during my second visit when they did bring it. Oh well! Like I said, the food was really fresh and good. Definitely come visit if you live sushi.

I opted for the lunch special, which didn't feel like much of a "special" since it still cost over $20. I chose the hibachi lunch with shrimp and scallops, and received three shrimp, three scallops, fried rice, and veggies. It also came with miso soup, but I didn't enjoy it as it was way too salty. They did offer the option to have my food cooked in front of me on the grill or served in a booth. Next time, I'll choose the grill option to ensure the rice is fresh, as the rice I had tasted a bit stale--though I should mention I arrived about 40 minutes before they closed for lunch. I also ordered the Goya roll, which my waiter said was the most popular. He seemed to assume I wanted something fried, but we all know great sushi is raw and rolled, so the roll wasn't necessary. The shrimp was overcooked, and the rice didn't taste fresh, but overall, the meal was decent. However, I didn't feel it was worth the price for lunch. If I return, I'll try a different sushi roll and have them cook my food in front of me.
