Upon arrival...you are to be alert and on the lookout for clues! You are ushered into the ballroom and assigned to a table! There is a 'cash bar' and you be prepared for limited choices there! The food..think any hotel catered event..not always well seasoned or cooked to your liking...the salad (skip it); the chicken was dry and the salmon was a good portion size! The dessert-cheesecake was average! The entertainment-the actors were energetic, but could benefit from wearing a mic! The story 'whodunnit' storyline was jumbled and had many distractions..but if you are a fan of JB Fletcher or Columbo...you know that is to throw you off! Haahaa I felt that the audience was rushed towards the end and that causes anxiety and inability to keep your thoughts together to solve the caper! Our table managed to figure out why the folks were killed..but we didn't name the killer correctly! It was ok...because overall it was a fun time!

Ritz-Carltons are always in a location convenient for shopping, restaurants, and entertainment, and…read moretheir Philly establishment is no different. All of the best eateries are within walking distance to the hotel; and if that's too much, a lot of restaurants provide delivery via their own drivers or through third parties (i.e. DoorDash, UberEats, etc.). The higher floors present a great view of city hall. It's even better when it lights up green after an Eagles win. My room also had a comfortable king size bed and complimentary sweet treats and champagne. With that being said, it was not my favorite luxury hotel stay compared to other Ritz-Carltons. Driving up to the hotel was confusing as there were no signs outside for the main entrance and the valet team was nowhere in sight. Usually, they would approach the car to help with luggage, but once they appeared they stayed huddled together and I had to approach them with my luggage and car keys. Once inside with my car sorted, check in was slightly busy, but I was able to get to my room within 10 minutes. The room was clean and smelled great, but the hallway showed the building's age. Throughout my stay there were additional inconveniences. The bathroom had cheap toilet paper and loud plumbing. The shower wouldn't produce hot water, even at 4am, so I had to take warm showers. The walls are very thin. I could hear my neighbor on a business call at 7am, and I could hear people in the hallway. The only guaranteed quiet a guest would likely have is if they booked a suite and stayed in the room furthest away from the hallway. Last, the Fitness Center was at least 78°. There were two box fans that failed at circulating cool air, and my attempt to be active was very uncomfortable. I love Ritz-Carltons, but the low quality service and offerings felt like a Courtyard impersonating one of Marriott's luxury brands and it was very disappointing. Cheap toilet paper and box fans should not exist inside a Ritz-Carlton. If it weren't for the view and spacious room, my rating would be lower.

Food was ok, it was edible and not terrible, as some other reviewers remarked. The show itself was a bit unorganized, the sound acoustics and lighting was off, and the story line was very unclear, but over all it was something different to do with visiting family. I'm sure if the actors really explored& dived into the script it could become something awesome. Also they just really need to work a little on pitch, volume and project their voices stronger to the audience and say their lines with more dramatic emphasis, it has potential to become something amazing. Regardless, it seemed that the actors were enjoying what they were doing and we all had a unique experience.

First off, the area is convenient, tucked into a side street in society hill with ample parking options in the immediate area. We were warmly greeted at the restaurant and directed to the second floor. Upon arrival, about 10 minutes before the show started, we were shown to our table, which is shared with other parties, similar to a cruise ship. They have a decent selection of drinks to choose from and the menu is set. I understand that you can order from the restaurant menu for an additional surcharge, however, we stuck with the set menu. The Caesar salad was OK. The creamy potato soup was great! My entree was the salmon with polenta. The salmon was a tad on the bland side however it was cooked perfectly and the polenta was... polentastic. The chocolate tart cake was just ok as well. My wife opted for the rigatoni and that, my friends, was a flavor extravaganza! It was the vegetarian option but man oh man, the cheesy saucy goodness more than made up for a lack of meat, Incase you're concerned. The wait staff is also the entertainment and as a result, they are in character the whole night, which was fun. I didn't quite know what to expect but we had a great time and would recommend it to anyone looking for a fun night. You're not going to get a Broadway caliber show, but I'd say it is a good, light-hearted time.

We are all excited but still had no idea where until I saw the castle and I froze. Like, wow! I have been wanting to come here since I was young and that wish came true. The ambiance inside the castle and the staff were so welcoming and very into their characters. It was so cool to see and experience. The concession stands had really nice items to buy and great photo ops. As we were waiting to go inside, my boys were knighted and that was so cool to see as they were having the time of their lives! As we were walking towards our section to sit down, we saw a royal falcon, which was pretty cool. As time is getting closer, we are now waiting to be seated. My family and I and everyone around us was so excited to finally go inside, sit down, and enjoy the show. We are finally in our seats excited for this moment. Our server Isaac was awesome!!!! The line to get inside, the line for pictures, and even trying to find our seating created a very chaotic atmosphere. We made a reservation for 9 people but were seated for 8, which resulted in two children having to share a chair. That was disappointing and felt unfair, especially considering the cost of the experience. The show itself was entertaining and the host was very kind, but the food was just mediocre. The potato was dry, and the chicken was unevenly seasoned -- one section had an overwhelming amount of seasoning while other parts had very little. For the amount of money spent, everything felt just "okay" rather than worth the price. Leaving the venue was also stressful. Guests for the next show were entering while our crowd was trying to exit, causing everyone to crash into each other and making the experience feel even more chaotic. Overall, the kids enjoyed themselves, but as an adult, the entire experience was overstimulating and not something I would personally rush to do again.

Upon exiting the elevator they make you feel like you enter "paradise", do some tarot card reading by asking for your birthdate, and then get some beads with perfume dropped on them depending on which card you got. After all of that, none of those stuff mattered. We were served a three course meal before the actual aerobics show happened, but they still had performers perform while we had our meals or a few drinks. I enjoyed their Crescent Dip, which is a hummus dip with whipped feta and comes with a massive chip. The Full Moon Rice I wasn't really a fan of. After those two, they came out with the entree, which they called Fire, Water, Earth; essentially beet, halibut, and short rib. These were alright, not amazing. The third and final course came during the intermission of the show, which was a bunch of dessert treats and they were delicious. The show itself was fantastic. It was more than just aerobics, has there are also singing, dancing, and violinist. You may get wet in the front so FYI. There's also some fire involved. Overall, a well put together show. I'd probably skip the food, but the drinks were great.
