First off, it is a beautiful tattoo shop - so clean and beautifully decorated. She also has cute novelty items promoting her place and gave some to my boyfriend and I after I was done. And of course her work, I am so fortunate to have gotten my first tattoo with her. She offers breaks (thankfully I didn't need one lol) and talks you through the design and placement. She is very patient - makes sure it is exactly where/how you want the tattoo. She also gives good aftercare information. As someone who is very squeamish, her work is so good and she is calming so I got two done in one session! It is so worth it making an appointment with Michelle for your tattoos. Jamison is the up and coming artist in the studio who learning from two of the best. His work definitely shows he's paying attention. He has a long and prosperous career ahead of him. Both Matt and Johnny are completing my full sleeves. I couldn't imagine a better place to get my work done. The shop is a showcase of talent. It'd been like 6 years since I'd been to his OLD shop, and he remembered me and remembered details of the conversation we had when I got my tattoo then. That blew me away, but it just goes to show the kind of person he is. It's not just putting ink down. It's allowing your vision for your tattoo to come through. I went with him 6 years ago for that reason, and he continues to be the same way, allowing his professionalism to shine through as he puts your vision into form. He's super high-tech, as well. Blew me away when he super-imposed the picture of my tattoo onto my arm with some virtual reality A.I. program on his iPad. I was able to see it before he'd even put it on my arm. The process, as last time, was super chill. I trust his artistry. Granted, I had more of a vision of what I wanted... but even his process of tweaking and asking good questions so that you get exactly what you want, but also something that will make 'tattoo sense' (just made that up, not sure if it's an actual phrase, but you catch my drift). All in all, as before, he killed the tattoo. I took public transportation from Brooklyn... 2 hours each way... just so that I could come have him do my tattoo. Highly recommend. HIGHLY!

I liked that she put thought on how the tattoo would look YEARS later, very valuable knowledge. Her quality of work is amazing and worth every penny. She is light handed with her work, and she banged out my tattoo in 3+ hrs with no breaks. The vibe of the shop is awesome, I liked the music they played and when Stephanie got into her zone or was feeling the music she'd sing or rap the lyrics and I'd do the same, it helped put me in the zone and put me at ease. Today is my birthday and I wanted to get a tattoo for my birthday. I've been communicating with them via messenger and had an appointment scheduled for 1 PM today. The appointment was made several weeks ago. As it is my birthday I made plans around this appointment. It was very disheartening and disappointing to get no response after several attempts on confirmation of my appointment. After finally getting a response that they can accommodate me but had to push me back later in the day, which did not work with my birthday plans. Again, I did not use them and can't vouch for how good or bad they are regarding the work they do, but the experience I had was a sour one.
