When we arrived at 6:30p the parking lot was packed - and on a Wednesday! We waited for about 20 minutes and then were seated. We started with the spinach and artichoke dip, which is served with warm baguette slices - perfection. For entrees we had the meatball linguine and the chicken Parmesan- meatballs are house- made and were so flavorful, chicken on the parm was crispy on the outside and juicy on the inside. Entrees are served with a side salad and their ranch was to die for- so thick and creamy. For dessert we had the chocolate gelato, which was the cherry on top of the meal. Yum! The place stayed busy until we left around 8 - a big party was waiting to be sat. The staff are very hard workers - they were busting their butts all over the restaurant for the duration of our meal. Our server (we didn't get his name, unfortunately) was wonderful. Highly recommend, and if we're ever back in Gallup, we'll definitely grab another meal here!

When I checked the pizza, it was clearly undercooked, so we sent it back. We expected it to come back properly cooked, but unfortunately that wasn't the case. When the pizza was brought out the second time, it was still doughy and undercooked. I took photos of it, and they show multiple different slices--all of which had the same raw, gummy texture across the entire slice. This was not just one bad piece. Because of this, we didn't even get a chance to actually eat the pizza. That was our dinner, and we ended up leaving without being able to eat it. What made the situation worse was how it was handled. The manager insisted it was "ranch sauce" and claimed the pizza was cooked thoroughly, which is simply not accurate based on both the texture and appearance. I was also told I was the only person to complain, as if that somehow made the issue invalid. Regardless, we were served undercooked food--twice. They offered a $5 discount on a $21 pizza that we couldn't even eat, which did not feel like a fair resolution. Very disappointing experience overall--not just because of the food, but because the issue was dismissed instead of taken seriously.

This place honestly seems so unassuming from the outside and the town it's in. Upon entering, we met the friendliest lady working there. Even the patrons were friendly. The sandwiches were excellent and so filling we made two meals of them! The apple fritter is as big as your head and every bit as delicious. The kids loved the donuts. When people say "hidden gem" nowadays, it usually isn't hidden but some viral thing, but this is a true hidden gem!

A Filipino place in the middle of nowhere New Mexico?! I can barely get a good Filipino spot in a city like St. Louis and Gallup, NM has this spot? Anyway, I got here like 20 min before close and they were nearly out of everything. I ended up getting what was left of their pork adobo, a bbq pork skewer, a vegetable egg roll, and an ube hopia. The pork adobo and bbq pork were both made using good chunks of pork with some bits still having the skin and some still having the good marbling of fat. Either way it was delicious and 100% no complaints. The egg roll was a little floppy, but really hit the spot. No one would ever call it gourmet, but it hit the spot like only good "comfort" food would. The hopia was really dry though, I'd pass on that. If you have time, also hit up the Filipino market right next door for some road trip snacks!
