4/11 Stay in Room 219 Before arrival, the hotel called asking us to pay in cash due to a "wireless issue," which felt questionable. The room was hot (75°) when we arrived, and despite adjusting the AC and having staff "reset" it, the temperature kept rising (up to 77°). We were unable to switch rooms, and the issue was never resolved. The TV also barely worked (stuck on one channel), and when we requested a partial refund, we were told management would follow up--but we never heard back. Overall, poor maintenance, lack of accountability, and a concerning payment request. This hotel seems to rely on overflow from WinStar World Casino and Resort without prioritizing guest experience. Upon entering the front there was a strong smell of urine which they tried to cover with something sweet which made it worse. Out AC didn't work at all it was 77/76 all night long. The breakfast was nothing they did have some microwaveable biscuits but the microwave hadn't been clean in quite some time. The breakfast area also seemed to not have ac. The WiFi didn't work the first night we were there either and after all of this they gave us a $54 discount. The room was over $300 to start with. I've stayed at $100 rooms that were so so much better than this one. I get $$ for location but the least you could do for this $$ is keep it clean and running properly. read more

The room was large and nice, however, the shower curtain was tie at the top, so not fully attached, which made it hard to keep the water in., There was no soap in the bathroom hand soap dispenser, and the TV didn't work at all. The breakfast was only so so. Not sure if it's worth the price, but it does have a nice big jetted tub as an amenity and with limited options other than the casino, they probably stay booked up.. We enjoy staying here when visiting the local casinos. The place is clean, well-lit, rooms are quality! This particular Memorial Weekend we arrived after midnight for a two day stay. The A/C wasn't working well so on the way to do some shopping the next morning, we advised the counter of the issue. We figured we'd have to switch rooms when we returned. 4-1/2 hrs later, we returned to a new system installed and the room was already cooled down! We arrived an hour early. We stated we had a reservation. In an extremely rude tone, the lady at the front desk said they didn't do early check-in. I Understand No early check-ins. But seriously, there was no need for the attitude at all. That set a really uncomfortable atmosphere. read more

We were greeted promptly, clerk was was very friendly. The rooms was clean, the reason I give it 3 stars is the beds were horrible, felt like we were laying on a box spring. Paid $209 for the night, and did not have a comfortable sleep. The bed was so uncomfortable, after of trying to fall asleep for 2 hours I moved to the couch that was in the room. Couch was much softer, but small, and narrow after about another hour I was able to fall asleep. Ended up getting 3 hours of off and on sleep, for $209 room. Breakfast is eh, generic fruit loops, and corn flakes, mini waffle maker, Jimmy dean sausage biscuits thawed placed in the bread box with mini bagels, slices of bread, honey buns, etc, they were not kept in fridge but somewhat cold. The sausage biscuits tasted old, I don't if they were placed in the bread box and put back in the fridge. read more

Pillows are awful, beds are awful. Room cards get deactivated somewhere in the middle of a 2 night stay so you have to go to the desk and reactivate them. Only 1 person working the desk during busy check in times. And "breakfast" is heat up your own frozen breakfast sandwich. If you don't have a complimentary breakfast like posted, just remove the sign. Would not recommend or stay here again read more

You don't get much for $250 per night. Clean. That's all you get. Beds are not great and pillows are not regular. No breakfast even though they say there is- no waffle mix, no juice, no butter, jelly or coffee cream. So just dry toast Only one girl who worked the swing shift was nice. The place was fairly clean. The power went out at least twice during a one night stay. The rooms were hot and uncomfortable. The worst part was in the morning about 15 to 30 minutes before check out time, the front office starts calling to tell you check out is at 11. I had 3 calls and 2 knocks on my door within 15 minutes. I felt harassed and could not comfortably finish getting ready to leave. I kindly let the front clerk know that I did not appreciate it and it was very uncomfortable for them to do that to us. My family and I had 3 different rooms and we all experienced the same thing. I talked to guest that were leaving and they all went through the same thing. I do not recommend this place at all no matter how close and convenient it is to the casino. read more

Stayed 11/5/16-11/6/16 Upon entering this hotel my first thought was, this is nice. It was very modern and very clean , very sophisticated looking. I had never heard of the hotel chain so I didn't know what to expect. But I was pretty impressed most the time I was there. The elevators were clean, the hallways were clean the bedroom was very clean. The bathrooms were clean. The only thing I found odd about the hotel was that in the room there was not a TV remote, we actually had to call the front desk and request one. However, I did notice a couple of other rooms doing the same so I assume it's like that in every room. I also noticed in the room but there was nothing that talked about the red river inn or that told you about any amenities nearby. I understand that this is kind of in the middle of nowhere but that was still strange that I didn't know where the nearest restaurants were or the nearest convenience stores or that there wasn't anything that talked about the casino. The best part about this hotel was the shuttle that ran every 15 minutes to take you to and from the casino. That was hands-down the best amenity that this hotel had to offer. Since I didn't see the swimming pool and I didn't make it down for breakfast, I can't comment on that but I went to this hotel to see a concert at the casino so it was absolutely perfect. I would definitely go back and I would definitely suggest that anybody else go there too. The staff was also very nice and very accommodating and there was never a second that no one was at the front desk. Just so you know you are allowed to carry alcohol to and from the casino and you can take it on the shuttle so take those to go cups and fill up in your hotel room and head to the casino and have a great time, nobody even blinks an eye at you. just tried to buy snacks and was told it's cash only with a sign posted. Paid for room with a card and my bar tab with a card. Clearly the Asian Indian owner is trying to avoid paying taxes on the sales from the snack bar. I'll be reporting this to the state of OK and the IRS. Pictures of the signage coming soon. Weasel!!! Winstar was sold out so we stayed here for one night. (Myself, husband and 2 teenagers) Husband checked us in He came out said our room was on opposite side. Drove around and Parked by back entrance. Unloaded luggage. Key card would not work in back door. Walked all the way back thru front entrance. Told clerk keycard didn't work and they replied must be broken. Internet did not work when we arrived. Went to front desk to let them know. Other people at desk complaining the same. They would have to call someone. Started working about 30 minutes later. Also asked for linens for the pull out couch. (For our 15 year old Was told they did not supply linens for couch and plus they didn't have any. They do not provide extra sheets or blankets. Next morning no cable. Was told it goes out if it's windy, but no wind outside. Free Breakfast was muffins, yogurt, cereal. We passed. Check out is at 11:00am but tried to get back in room around 10:00am and keycard would not work.It was basically a $69 motel experience , but we got to pay over $200 a night. The place is not terrible, but the staff is poorly trained and they clearly aren't business people. A cash only concessions with no atm. So if you wake up in the middle of the night dying of thirst, the girl at the front desk will suggest walking a half mile to the gas station. They lost my reservation, twice. Just after we checked in, we left for the casino and on the way out I told the girl some of the towels looked a little dirty or hadn't been clean, wasn't upset about it these kind of things happen. She then looked at me like she didn't believe me and told me to go up to my room and grab the towels so I could show her they were dirty and THEN she would give me new ones. Are you kidding? The hell kind of customer service is that? Again, the place is not terrible, but the service is absolutely horrendous and nobody is trained in customer service in anyway, shape or form. read more

We and some friends booked two rooms for Saturday/Sunday, September 3-4, 2022. Upon arrival, both our rooms remained warm with the air conditioners never kicking on. My friends husband happens to own a very reputable AC business, and he attempted to speak with the woman at the check-in desk, to no avail. We decided to go ahead with our plans for the evening, and left the rooms for several hours. Upon our return, our room on the second floor was soaked, with water literally POURING from the sprinkler system in the ceiling. We immediately raced downstairs to report the situation, to which Kevin, the night check on duty, seemed unconcerned and definitely not hurried to assess the situation and find a solution. We FINALLY got him to show motivation and took him to our room to see for himself, where he proceeded to take video of the continuing damage. He returned back to the lobby, said he spoke on the phone with his manager, and was simply advised that she would be in at 9 am Sunday to deal with the situation. When asked about our stay, he said he had no rooms available and left the question unanswered with no attempt to resolve the situation, and zero compassion that it was now 2 am and he had an emergency on his hands. We asked him to call his manager back to find a resolution, to which he said she was in bed rest after having had surgery, but would be coming in at 9 am. When asked for a call to be made to HER boss in order to handle the situation, Kevin plainly stated that he would not be making any further calls, and immediately became unresponsive to our requests for answers and assistance. I was able to find ONE ROOM available 40 MILES away, so we headed back to our soaked room to pack things up. At our arrival, 2 new leaks had sprung from the ceiling, along with bubbles in the paint where water was pooling. At that time, my girlfriend mentioned that she did ask if Kevin should check on the guests in the room above us, but he declined stating that "he didn't want to bother them so late", despite the fact that the water was quite clearly coming FROM THEIR ROOM. When we stopped at my friends room next door to bid our farewells for the evening, we noticed that in their room, the smoke alarm had a bag taped over it, thusly preventing it from effectively working!! And again, the AC STILL wasn't cooling their room. In short, avoid this hotel at all costs. Customer service is non-existence, your safety and well-being are not a priority, and the lack of management and procedure are nowhere to be found. Meanwhile I'm out over $600 for those two rooms, plus the additional room at the next hotel PLUS the expense of gas in the economy going both ways to and from the new hotel we had to book. Do the math- that's $800 for one night, plus the loss of sleep, stress and ruined trip all because of a crappy hotel with crappy employees and crappy management. STAY FAR AWAY FROM THIS PLACE, FOLKS!! read more

This is the new Winstar-owned hotel; not the Best Western with the same name. It's down the street. The rooms here are nice! Big, comfy couch with chaise and makes into a bed. Big flat-screen, comfy mattress and bedding. There is a bar on the first floor, nice lobby, good morning breakfast 6a-10a. Staff are friendly and helpful. Shuttles run between casino and hotel about every 15 minutes. All rooms have microwave and refrigerator, hair dryer and curved shower curtain rod (I love that!) I would definitely stay here again and recommend it to anyone. read more

Nice rooms, I'll give them that. Overpriced. Our bed was at least as hard as a Motel 6 bed. No smoking - no pets. And we are guilty of both. Our dogs slept in our pick up. A friend booked the rooms on Expedia so we didn't know about the pets until our arrival. Tried to call earlier in the day - staff did not answer the phone. Check in time is 3 o'clock. I arrived earlier but was told I would have to wait. I was meeting my husband and some friends And wanted to shower and clean up before they arrived. The Clerk was on the telephone on a personal call and really didn't want to be bothered. I was finally allowed to get in the room at about two. We are used to having a smoke outside, generally, are afforded a place to sit down other than right outside the main entry. This morning we thought we would go sit beside the pool and have our coffee and cigarettes but that door was locked until 9 o'clock. Two staff members sitting in the breakfast room this morning, neither of which knowledged our presence, asked us if we needed anything or how are our stay was. If you're just into spending money stay here. Dinner and drinks including the tip, for 4, at Toby Keith's cost less than this room - and the food and service were great! We stayed here in December when we went to go see a concert at the Winstar Casino. Now the name is very similar to Best Western Red River Inn and Suites, but they are two different hotels. The rooms are very beautifully designed and the front desk staff was nice. There is a shuttle that runs to and from the casino every 15 minutes. The beds were nice and it is quiet. My only complaint was the breakfast. We got up around 9:00 or so and the only thing left was pastries, waffles, biscuits and gravy and a few other items. I really wanted some eggs (any kind) and sausages or bacon. Despite the lousy breakfast, I would certainly return. read more

I blame myself bc we didn't plan ahead, We got our room at the last minute and they were practically sold out which meant we had to get the only room left. Which one was that? The biggest one , it was $299 and like an apt, only no pictures on the wall/ blow dryer didn't work, bed was hard as a rock, the lamp in the living room didn't even have a bulb, half the bulbs in bathroom were out, the room was freezing and they didn't have more blankets- we turned the heat up but it took forever- I'm talking hours to get warmed up, this place was so sparse, not warm and inviting at all. Actually kinda made me sad , and miss my house- tonight we are in Okc and this hotel is Amazing, so glad I'm in a warm Welcoming place for the night. read more

We were promptly greeted upon entering the hotel. Very nice decor and updates. Our room was clean with the exception of the night stand. It hadn't been cleaned in a while. We missed the continental breakfast because we slept in. But we were not rushed to checkout. It was pretty quiet and the bed was comfy. The pillows aren't the greatest so if you're picky bring your own. It was very close to the casino there us actually a driveway to the casino parking lot. I would stay here again. read more

Towels had peoples' hair all in them We left an expensive item in the room and there was no customer service for return. We had to have service paid for in advance and fed ex come pick item up!!! On August 29th, 2019 I booked 2 rooms for December 29th since we plan to go to see Jackson Browne in concert at Winstar that night. We received confirmations for both rooms on August 29th. On October 14th we were sent updated confirmations raising the price by $100 per night per room. Red River Inn refuses to honor the rate confirmed in August. The hotel is overpriced. They are charging 3 star prices for a 2 star hotel. The shuttle is not running for Winstar but the price is still expensive. You are better off driving to Gainesville for a hotel. The carpet is dirty and turned my feet black. I hated the shower head. It sprayed everywhere and the pressure was hard. The blankets are comfortable at least. Hotels also need to start updating their pillows to memory foam. The pillows were flat and hard. It would be an alright hotel if they changed out the pillows and shower head and cleaned the carpet. They also need to lower their prices. I have stayed at nicer hotels for half the price. read more

My husband and I checked in very late Friday night and were only staying one night. My husband got up early and went to Winstar while I tried to get up and get ready. The checkout is stated that it is 11 am, however the cleaning staff tried to come in at 10:30. I wasn't ready yet and she said she'd come back. Well at 10:58 a VERY rude manager basically kicked me out of the room. She stood there and waited on me to leave telling me that checkout was 11 as if I didn't already know. For being at a hotel for less than 24 hours they sure did not pour on the hospitality. I will NEVER stay there again and I'm not the kind of person to write reviews, but it was so rude I thought other potential guests should know. read more

DO NOT Book at Red River In and Suites. This place is absolutely disgusting!!!!! The room was horrific!!! It looked as if a porn had been made in our room....semen was all over the couch, bed and in the coffee pot! We went to speak with the manager and she refused to come look at the conditions of the room but said she'd send a cleaner. However, no one cleaned the room!!!! We were handed supplies 7 hours later after returning from the casinos to clean the room our selves!!!! VERY UNPROFESSIONAL!!!! We will NEVER be back!!!! read more

I don't necessarily recommend at all. First of all, we walk in and it's freezing, which is fine, but when we go downstairs to get another blanket, they won't give us one. Then we asked for sheets for the (twin) pullout bed (most pullouts are a queen, so also not what we expected) and they said if we want sheets, we have to pay for them. So, we are limited on blankets and have to pull off sheets from the other bed to put on the pullout. Then I get into bed and i'm between the sheets it's grainy. It feels disgusting. Oh, and I forgot to add that when we tried to call the front to get the blankets, the phone didn't work, like at all. Just didn't work. And also, when we first got there, they then decided to tell us that they aren't serving a free breakfast at the moment. So no, I don't recommend. read more

This hotel is a nice hotel it is clean and smells nice and has everything you could want. The reason I give it a 1 Star is for the biggest con for me. The shower had no pressure and it was so high up and when it sprayed there was no middle in the water. You never feel like you can get the soap of and god forbid you have shampoo and conditioner. Our first time here, we went for our anniversary on February 7th and it was absolutely awesome. The staff was great and the rooms were very nice. Online it said our room would be $179 for a regular room, when we called to confirm they told us we booked the king suit and it was only $149, not gonna argue there. The young woman that checked us in was also our bartender that night and she took the time to even get to know us. Awesome job guys! Cant wait to be back read more

This is our go to hotel when the casino is booked. Front desk is friendly. Rooms have always been clean for us. Book directly through the hotel --- you seem to get a better price then booking through a site.. Free breakfast is served in morning.. Nothing special but the always have fresh fruit and waffles .. DO NOT STAY HERE!!! If I could give this a negative star I would. The staff constantly lied to us saying that our booking was on Expedia and we even got the phone to show her that it was on hotels.com, she refused to look at the phone to see that it said hotels.com. She yelled at my husband. And tried to get us escorted out of the building, once the sheriff got there she had told him that we had thrown stuff at her (which did not happen as their cameras will show) We had no water and that was why we originally went to the desk and she told us that the people on the first floor wouldn't get any hot water because they were doing laundry at 8 in the morning. She said she had open rooms on the second floor but refused to let us move to a room that had hot water just for showers ( which I've never had a problem with any other hotel making sure that their customers had what they needed) they advertised a 8.6 hotels.com rating yet hotels.com shows that they are rated 7.6 which isn't too bad. Also, last night I went to see if I could get another blanket for my mother in law and they wanted $15 for an extra blanket and did not offer a refund when you brought the blanket back. Yet the blanket she tried giving us had stains on it, holes and looked like it wasn't washed. The bathroom in our room was dirty and looked like it hadn't been mopped or cleaned in weeks, the flusher on the toilet was broken ( and all these remarks on cleanliness are coming from a housekeeper for a nursing home also, not just a random opinion). There was no back on the tv remote to cover batteries, there was food left in our mini fridge from the past guests that wasn't cleaned out. The corners of the room had dirt piled up in the corner. It was really dusty. And they have advertisements on shuttles to win-star which are not running or provided. Breakfast was frozen biscuits they set out to thaw that you warmed up and waffles along with cereal with milk that smelled spoiled. Over all I would not recommend this place for my worse enemy to stay at as it would be too bad for them to even stay in. I have never left a bad review for a hotel they have all been amazing I just can't believe the poor customer service and amenities along with the poor quality of cleanliness in this hotel. read more
