I've used Red River Roofing for 4 different things for over a decade. I've had them replace a strip of shingles that came loose in a storm, they fixed a bad leak around a vent pipe, and recently they replaced my entire roof with a high-quality hail-resistant roof, along with repairing a rotted soffit. We just went through one of the worst snow-storms in decades, and my new roof appears leak-free. They also did some nice things I did not expect, such as painting all my vent-pipes to match the roof, along with straightening a crooked vent-cover that had been knocked out of place by a huge windstorm. Also, I did not know they did soffit repair until they came out, and the team that did it did a beautiful job. I first came in contact with this company last summer to do a roofing job for me. I came about their company because they are a distributor for Owen Corning. After a few weeks of research on shingles, I decided Owens Corning was what I was looking for. So I went to the Owens Corning website and they gave me a few names of roofers in my area and I chose Red River Roofing. So the sales person Mark came out right away and brought me samples and a quote on my roof. The quote was right in with everyone else that looked at my roof, and I was impressed by their quick response so I decided to have them do the work. A few days later, I met a neighbor who said they could install my roof for less and I ended up having someone other than Red River do the work. I never signed a contract, I called Mark and told him I changed my mind. Of course he was disappointed but wished me well and said if I ever needed anything else please let him know. So here we are, April 2016 nine months later and I have another house that needs a roof. So I called Mark and said I would like a quote on my new place. He was once again very quick with coming out and getting me a price. I trusted that his price was fair because of the experience I had nine months before and I had him email a contract and put me on the install list. I felt confident in the company that I was going to be doing my new roof. A fair price and good quality. Now for the trouble I'm having with Red River Roofing. Prior to my signing a contract I stressed my concerns about part of the roof that was bowing in the very front of the house. Mark assured me that if it was part of the decking, they would replace what was rotten or in bad shape. I told him and I also told Tony, the site foreman that I wanted it replaced even if it wasn't rotten and was willing to pay for materials and time on top of my quote. Tony, felt that what I was worried about wasn't a decking issue but a structural issue and that he wouldn't be the person to fix that. I would have to hire a carpenter. I felt differently and I know that it is part of the decking. In any case, my new roof looks bad and I complained to Mark and was told that the main boss would have to be called and he would get back with me. The next day Tony (not the main boss) called and said he would take care of it. That was yesterday. I'm still waiting to find out when they are going to make it right and also professional looking. They failed horribly on quality. Their crew of installers worked a very long day as I know they were tired and you know that old saying "time is money" well from what I can tell they probably profited 4K that day on my roof and hoped I wouldn't say anything. Let's hope I don't get a flat tire from all the nails they left behind. A few photos are included. read more

We used Red River for our repairs on our house during the May hailstorm in Norman, OK this year. Lane Denwalt, our sales guy, came our promptly and set us up for all our repairs. Whenever we called for estimate dates or any other questions, we received a response usually within the same day with answers to our questions. Andrew even came back to touch up the paint on the gutters that got slightly scratched during the installation. My comment is to get everything in writing in detail prior to doing business with this company. Certain services (Leak Test $260) to be paid even if they do not repair anything. Their employees did not bring tools or supplies and failed to clean up the mess prior to leaving. They did manage to dump gallons of water into our kitchen. No offer to dehumidify ceiling drywall etc...I paid the bill and will file complaint with Oklahoma CIB and BBB. read more

I was treated very unprofessional and unfair from this roofer , he came after a storm to give me an estimate ddnt do a good job ,said you only need a few shingles replaced no need for claim . We had another rain and I called few others they agreed that roof need to be replaced call insurance and filed claim , I called him back to tell him so he came back and said let's wait for insurance and put a small tarp where it was leaking he said he took pics and he will email me the pics and estimate HE NEVER DID , and he wanted over 17K to replace and only upgrade to something better but not the top of the line and it was as cheep shingles as the one came with the house . I called a recommended roofer company and I got them to upgrade to the top of line life time warranty and excellent work for half of what Red roofer company offered job is done . Now RED RIVER ROOFER. Is sending me a bill for the small tarp they put without my consent $600 WOW. That's insane after I asked several roofing company . They want to put a lean on my house for that retaliation because i ddnt do business with them ???? Why I don't recommend this company to any home owner they will rip you off . We used Red River Roofing over the summer to fix a roof leak. Our simple one-day job drug out over a month and required three different trips to our house. Each time I would call Adam or the office, I was told a different story. No one could actually give me a straight answer about what had/hadn't been done. When the work was finally complete, it was done so poorly that I probably could've done a cleaner job myself. Getting this simple repair done was a huge hassle and the communication with Adam and the office was very poor . I notified the office of my disappointment and received an apology letter with an offer to pay for part of the cost of boarding my dog, which I had to do each time they were out working. They never followed through on their offer to cover part of the cost of boarding and they also blamed the poor communication on an employee issue that they had apparently resolved. Fast forward to two weeks ago, during a rain storm we realized the leak is better, but not 100% fixed. I called the office and spoke with Terry, who informed me that she would put in a work order but said that the work would be subject to evaluation and likely additional payment. It's been over two weeks since I spoke to Terry and I have yet to hear back from her. I also find it unacceptable that I would be charged an additional fee to complete a repair that should have been done correctly the first time. So - if you want a job done within the agreed upon time frame and a company that will stand behind their work, look elsewhere. If I am going to have to pay a second time to have my leak fixed, I may as well use a company that will do it right the first time and stand behind their work. **edit: Adam reached out to me 25 minutes after this review was posted. He informed me that my leak is "tricky" and would likely require a water test. When I asked why that wasn't done initially, he admitted that was an oversight on his part and it probably should have been done. Even after admitting that they probably didn't do what they needed to ensure it was done correctly the first time, I was still told that in order to have it fixed, I would have to pay again. read more

I only rated this one star, because it wouldn't let me do none. This is by far the worst, most unprofessional roofing company I have ever come in contact with. They put a new roof down without any type of flashing. Any logical person knows without flashing, leaks will eventually occur. They said to keep an eye on that area and if there was leaking, they would come out and put more caulking over the area, but not fix the damage. WHAT?!? We called and talked to a manager and he said that was wrong and they would fix it. They came out again and put the flashing over the siding which will STILL cause leaks!! This roofing company knows knowing about proper roofing and is so unprossefional and besides that, they're work looked awful like amateurs did it, but I guess that is what you would call this company all around. Red River Roofing was the 2nd of 3 companies that I had chosen to provide estimates for a roof replacement. I was a little taken back by the company telling me that a sales technician would call me back. Several days had past and I was about to move on when I got the call. I met with the sales rep who inspected the roof and provided an estimate. He was very clear about what was needed to replace my roof. He also provided detailed explanation of the safety training they received, a copy of the licensing, and the bond certificate. I was so impressed with the level of detail, I didn't feel "pressured". I went ahead and made my decision to use Red River. I have not regretted it since. Between the foreman and the roofers, I received a quality roof that did not break the bank in terms of out-of-pocket after the deductible. The roofers even chased after my dog and brought it back after they had opened the gate to get to the back yard. it took them two days and they cleaned up everything. My roof looks great and I could not be more happier with the product and the level of care they provided. read more
