very nice and quiet in here, compared to all the other places i've eaten at on the cape the quiet was nice! food was super yummy, my first time having mustard bbq sauce and i am CONVERTED!! sweet sauce has nothing on mustard bbq sauce. mac n cheese was very good too, very crumbly on top, i took it to go and wanted to eat the rest in the car ride home lmao. service was quick and attentive. recommend if you need a break from pastries and sea food lmao

Outstanding meal at Red River BBQ! The Brisket and Prime Rib were so tender and bursting with flavor. Chicken wing appetizer crispy on the outside so tender and delicious on the inside. The entire staff is so friendly! Can't wait to return!

The service and food is amazing at this restaurant. We ordered the wings, full rack if ribs, fish and chips and the onion rings. The portion of fish I received was enormous for me and it was thick. The onions rings were sliced so thin and had an amazing seasoned batter on them. Ribs were so easy to eat off the bone and the sauce that came with it was perfect. The wings were huge! 50¢ wings right now, with a crisp. We will definitely be back.

Decided to try this place given the previous reviews. We were greeted and seated immediately in the dining room in the front of the restaurant, which was good as they had live music in the other room. Between the music and that room being full it would have been difficult to have a conversation. Our server appeared immediately to ask if we had been there before and did we have any questions. He yolk our drink order while we looked over the menu which is not large but has a good selection of entrees and starters. We asked if the tater tots app could be adjusted somewhat and were told the kitchen probably wouldn't do that so we ordered the corn fritters. The corn fritters arrived and unfortunately they were fried way too long making them very hard to eat and very dry inside. The maple dipping sauce helped to add moisture. The entrees were the pulled pork sandwich and the 1/2 order of ribs. Both dishes came with French fries and artery sauce. The ribs came with a small amount of barbecue sauce to dip the meat into. Would have been good if the pork came with it as well. The pulled pork was very juicy and was served on a hamburger bun. The ribs had good flavor but it was good to have the added barbecue sauce as they were a little on the dry side. There was also a small slice of corn bread which was excellent. Very soft and tasty. The fries were a good sized portion, well fried and crispy .the coleslaw was unremarkable and didn't add to the meal. The cost for dinner was not bad considering the amount food that we were given. Seating was comfortable and once the music stopped the atmosphere was pretty good. We had a split decision on whether we were looking at a 3 or 4. We're at 3.5 I'd say but rounded up to a 4. I don't think we'll make a return trip unfortunately.

Every time I come to the Cape, I search for BBQ, and I am almost always disappointed at how few options I find . Red River put an end to the disappointment. It is a combination of a welcoming atmosphere, a nice variety of food options, and extremely friendly and helpful staff. My dinner group was larger, and I saw on their website that they consider their restaurant small, so I called in advance. They said they could accommodate us but were not sure if we'd need to be seated at two smaller tables, but we were okay with that. It turns out they were able to seat us at one large table in their main room. The atmosphere there was casual and pleasant, with interesting wall decor and paintings for sale. The other room has the bar and is a bit more trendy. We were greeted almost immediately, and we were treated to the same quality level of service the entire evening. I would think the main draws here would be the bbq plates, which come with dense corn bread, coleslaw, and your choice of a side. I was able to sample all of them, and among them, the mac and cheese was my favorite. My potato salad had a very "freshly made" taste to it, and those at my table who ordered fries enjoyed their flavor. If you're not interested in a bbq plate, other options include entrees such as a shrimp basket, and various sandwiches and burgers. Also, all of our dinners came out at the same time, a big plus for a large dinner group. The only thing I thought might have been slightly off was the cocktail two of us ordered, a Lion's Tail. I like these because they use Allspice Dram. The drink should have a complex flavor combining the allspice, lime, and the sweetness of a syrup, but in this case the lime overwhelmed the drink, perhaps as in too much lime juice, not enough dram or syrup. Both of us agreed. Beyond that, all others at our table were completely pleased with their drinks, and this was certainly not something I would consider as any significant issue. It was a treat to find Red River, as well as a treat to dine here. I wish them success, because I hope to be back for future Cape visits.

2 of these were undercooked and on the whole, not very flavorful.

The barbecue in this joint is delicious, at least the Pulled Pork that I had was. Tender, luscious and the RRBBQ sauce was just terrific. Enough left over for a pork and slaw sandwich the next day. Our server kindly popped in some extra sauce for me without asking. In spite of the fact that the mac and cheese was a little dry and not hot, and while 2 of my corn fritters were undercooked, we'll definitely go back. All places have hiccups and should be revisited, especially with pulled pork like this!

We ordered the turkey wrap with fries, the Rueben and Tennessee barbecue burger both with onion rings. Our orders arrived quickly and looked delicious. The turkey wrap was large with plenty of turkey, bacon and lettuce. The fries were perfectly fried, crispy and nice and brown. The Rueben was filled with plenty of pastrami, Swiss cheese, Russian dressing, sauerkraut all between two perfectly grilled rye toast slices. All the ingredients came together to make a great sandwich. The burger was ordered medium rare and was a little more on the rare side but was still well seasoned and had a nice crunch to it when you bit into it. It came with cheddar cheese, bacon, and whiskey caramelized onions which gave the burger an amazing smokey, barbecued flavor. It was served on a large, soft bun. Onion rings for both the Rueben and burger weee well fried and crispy.. A good restaurant which will require a return trip to try out more menu items. Our server was very pleasant and helpful.

Well, on vacation I wanted to try this place as it was a part of my gluten-free restaurant lineup and I'm so happy we waited to try it. Among the other plates that we got, we did try the "not a cuban" sandwich, the creamy mac & cheese, and some more of their "summer lovin" drinks The pulled pork was amazing as it was perfectly slow cooked, had a nice subtle Smokey flavor, and pulled apart like butter in your mouth. I was happy to see all their gluten free options and they even had house made gluten free batter blend for sale in the front. The place overall is a vibe. They have a lot of cool local events with live music, half off burgers on Thursdays, and even a boozy brunch from 10 AM to two on Saturdays and Sundays. I'd recommend coming to try the BBQ here as it was delicious and reminded of a very popular BBQ place back home. Great place for family eating with outdoor seating and indoor seating.

It was a nice time to visit, relaxed and not too crowded. We ordered a Caesar salad, steak tips, fried seafood platter (fresh cod, scallops, and clams with fries and coleslaw), clam chowder, and a kids' grilled cheese. Overall, the fried seafood platter was the standout and definitely the best way to sample a bit of everything. The fish, scallops, and clams were all fresh and nicely fried, and the portion was generous. The steak tips were also solid, tender and well-seasoned. The clam chowder was decent, though not especially memorable. The kids' grilled cheese was a bit overdone on the outside and came out slightly burnt, but otherwise was fine for a simple kid's meal. Service was friendly, and the atmosphere had that classic Cape Cod waterfront feel that makes it an easy, casual dining spot. We did notice quite a few tables ordering the lobster roll, which we'll probably try next time we visit since it seemed to be one of the more popular items. Overall, Brax Landing Restaurant is a solid, casual seafood spot with good variety, worth a visit, especially for the fried seafood platter.

This is a solid option for seafood and American food in Harwich Port. My girlfriend's family all ordered a seafood dish (scallops, lobster roll, and seafood platter) but I opted for a hamburger as I am not a huge seafood fan (ironic in Cape Cod). I took a bite of some of the seafood dishes and objectively can say they were pretty good! I was a fan of my girlfriend's lobster roll. My burger was standard, but it also came with Canadian bacon which I have never seen before on a burger. It was a good addition. Fries were very good as well. Service was great. They also have waterfront dining outside. Definitely a solid option for seafood.
