I mainly come here for the Taisan loaf and the butter mamon. Both are so soft and fluffy. The buttery topping really takes them over the top. My family and friends also love the cakes. The service is always friendly.

We waltz into Red Ribbon in Mira Mesa on a noble quest for their legendary Mango Cake bc if fruit isn't wrapped in frosting, am I even living?!?! But plot twist!!! Strawberry Cake also makes a surprise cameo, and you know I'm not strong enough to say no to a 2-cake situation!! Even the universe was in my favor... service was so good i had to checked if i was secretly on a hidden camera show. The cashier was actually very friendly, smiled like she meant it, and didn't look like she hated all of humanity. Incredible, and not the norm from a Red Ribbon Bake Shop!! Good job on the smiles & friendliness, keep it up!! Can't forget my ride-or-die: my go-to Mamon. It's soft, buttery, and basically dissolves in your mouth like a fluffy edible hug from a butter fairy!!

Red Ribbon is wrapped in the red ribbon seal of quality and supreme flavor! delicious tiramisu cake, very light with delicious espresso flavoring! perfect for your next party!

I didn't realize Mira Mesa had so many Filipino bakeries. This bakeshop is located right next to Seafood City. It is bright and airy. The baked goods options were small. There's indoor seating. Lady that helped me greeted me but that's about it. Service wasn't all that great. The prices were moderate. I got the ube mamon and the caramel ensamada. As I was checking out I saw that they had pancit palabok and empanada. I got the combo for $10.19. Then I noticed that I could've gotten the same combo with a drink for $10. It was too late. Wished the lady would've said something. The menu is just strange. Caramel ensamada was different. The cheese was also different than the plain cheese ensamada that I'm used to. The bread was soft. I didn't care for the taste. 3/5 Pancit palabok could've used more sauce. The crunch was a bit too hard for me. This was a disappointment. 2/5 Chicken empanada was full of chicken. The crust was buttery. I've never had Filipino empanada before. It could use more seasoning. 4/5 Ube Mamon was my favorite out of all of them! It was soft and melted in your mouth. So good! 5/5

I came here for my dad's birthday. The flan cake and ube cake were great. I like that they have slices of each type of cake so customers can try a variety of flavors instead of ordering one large cake with a singular flavor.

I always get the mango when I'm here. The mango filling is so yummy and the cake is so soft; the mangoes are sweet. I always recommend the mango (maybe im biased because im a mango lover but it's so good!!) The Ube cake was pretty dry, but the flan was good; wouldn't get again though. Service was quick and easy

A well known franchise Filipino bakery with many different types of Filipino cakes and desserts. Ordered a new Tiramisu Cake. It was very moist and juicy and flavorful. The presentation was impressive. The employees were cordial and polite. I appreciated how they listened carefully and repeated back what they heard.

The mango supreme cake is delicious!! It's not too sweet and it tastes homemade. The mango sauce is fresh and the bread is so soft. I ordered the cake for my grandma's birthday and she loved it. I also liked that they offer a $5 off coupon if you pre-order your cake!

The palabok tasted great, authentic taste. I bought one to eat there and family size to take home. The cashier, Alex, was super nice and helpful. I really enjoy looking at the assortment of Filipino pastries. The place looks inviting and clean.

Came to Red Ribbon to pick up a cake for a coworkers baby shower. Tried the new Strawberry Dream cake and it was delicious! Staff were friendly. They also had empanadas and other goodies. There were a few tables inside to enjoy your cake and treats. Lots of parking available in the shared plaza next to Seafood City!

Took my mom here on a Saturday for lunch. This place is next to Seafood City. We ordered the combo plates. My mom had the palabok with chicken empanada and i had the palabok with yema caramel cake slice. Orders are places at the counter. Cashier was not very friendly and looked like she didnt want to be there. The place only had 4 tables. The guy who was bringing out the food was very nice and came out with smiles unlike the cashier. Palabok was really good. The chicken empanada was steaming hot when my mom bit into it. It was pretty good she said. The best is the yema caramel cake slice. It was so light and fluffy and surprisingly, not as sweet as I thought it would be, which I like. Filipino desserts tend to be on the sweeter side but this one had a perfect balance. I will be ordering a whole cake when we have a family party.

Coupons good through 12/31/2024. For use in store only. Cannot be used for online orders.

The line was pretty long, especially for a Friday morning. It took about 30 minutes before I was able to place my order. Once you order you pay at the cashier and can either take everything to go or sit out on their cute covered front porch. They also have complimentary water and napkins available. I ordered: * Tomato & Cheese Tile: This was delicious. The tomatoes tasted really fresh, and the bread had a nice crisp exterior while still being soft and airy inside. * Peach & Vanilla Tile: Also really good. It had just the right amount of sweetness without being overly sugary. * Almond Croissant: You really can't go wrong with this one. Buttery, flaky, and delicious. * Jalapeño & Cheese Croissant: The croissant itself was buttery, light, and super flaky with a crisp outer layer. The jalapeño and cheese are mostly concentrated around one edge so I do wish there had been a little more throughout, but it was still really tasty. One thing to keep in mind is that a lot of items sell out pretty quickly. They were already out of the ham and cheese croissant well before noon so I'd recommend getting there earlier if there's something specific you want to try. The prices were also very reasonable. My total for all four items was just a little over $25. Overall, this is such a cute spot and definitely worth the hype. I'd absolutely come back and try more!

As expected there was a line out the door. I waited about 15 minutes until it was my turn to see what was available. I came around 10:30am on a Sunday and they had about 3 types of croissants, two types of cookies, and cinnamon buns. They also had their usual sandwiches and breads. They did not have any of their kouign amann that Sunday morning. You tell them what you want at the counter and they box everything. Drinks are made and handed out outside. All their breads and pastries are baked fresh daily and they use local and organic ingreidents. I ended up getting an almond and hazelnut croissant and a sea salt chocolate chip cookie. I also got a tumeric ginger latte and an Americano. The almond croissant was a little dry and very mid. The inside of it was good though. The hazelnut croissant was my favorite. It had tons of hazelnut on top and the filling was really nice. The sea salt chocolate cookie was very large and pretty good. As for the drinks the Americano was very light. My tumeric ginger latte was a nice switch up. I paid $27 for 3 pastries and 2 drinks. The staff was pretty quick with boxing my items and I waited about 5-10 minutes for my two drinks. The inside of the bakery is small but they have a cute casual patio. There's no tables though and only bench seating if you can find a spot. It's more of a grab and go type of shop. I like that you can pre-order ahead too. Parking is hard since its on a major street and street parking can be tricky.
