This is a Chinese restaurant, not a Mexican one like the title implies. I attempted to change it, but have yet to see it come up at Chinese. It's your typical Chinese restaurant with probably about 4 tables in the seating area, and they specialize in take-out. We especially enjoy their steamed entree's like the steamed chicken and broccoli. They serve the sauce on the side so that you can add as little or as much as you please. All of their food is pretty tasty, and we love their hot and sour soup. It's in the same complex as Domino's and Andy's on Hwy 210. read more

Bangin. As far as Chinese take out goes, this place is great. Went in and ordered lunch to go earlier today and really liked It. While waiting, the kids of the family got home from school and did their homework in the corner and the woman working Made small talk with us. It's nice when a family owned place delivers quality food. I'm all about it and will be going back. read more

Had the Bean Curd. Veggies cut large to match the size of the tofu squares. Egg rolls were awfully chewy as if they were double wrapped. Also for the puppy platter. Tasted like a bunch of reheated mystery meat. Others in party were satisfied enough with their meals to eat here again. Stick to the standards. read more

Great food and good people! Almost always there cooking up some good food! Look forward to seeing Roy and Annie when we go up there weather to take home or eat there! read more

I ordered general Tao chicken pork fried rice crab Rangoon's won ton soup everything was excellent! Will definitely go back!

A small chinese restaurant right at the four corner gas station complex in Snead ferry. The restaurant has two tables and it's main business is carry out food. The amount of food is collosal compared to the price you pay. The cashier and staff are very friendly people. I always make sure to tip decent whenever i picked up my food. The taste of the food is just ok to me, not a lot of flavor, I have been to many chinese restaurants before so i am a bit familiar with the food. There are only two chinese restaurants in the area and i like this one much better because of the food and the amount of wait time which almost non existent in this place. I will comeback here if I want to get my chinese food crave fixed in the future. read more

Better than any of the Chinese take out places in Jacksonville. I have no complaints and haven't been disappointed.

Quick service, great food and affordable. Best Chinese take in the area. Looking for good Chinese in Sneads Ferry, this is the place.

Decent Chinese joint with a menu that will blow your mind. There is SO MUCH shit on it! I went for my staple.. The Kung Pao Shrimp & crab rangoon. The Husband always goes for the General Tso Chicken and we have also tried the sesame chicken.. its delicious and not too ridiculously priced. I have ordered take out from here a few times now because unfortunately, they do not deliver.. Which is really really annoying and odd for a place like this. read more

If you want your world rocked, get the dumplings. They are homemade like everything else here. $4.65 for 8...I will go on binges and eat them 4 days in a row. read more

I'm so in love with the coconut shrimp !!! The food is pretty good for tAke out!!! Also I love their crab Rangoons !!!

Delicious, until they gave me horrible food poisoning. I wish I could go back for their delectable sesame chicken, lo mein, and egg rolls, but I have no desire to puke whole noodles ever again. read more

I usually get the kung pow chicken combo prices are fantastic, customer service is good, and they are good hard working people trying to make it. Portion size is huge and $7.50 goes very far. I have eaten at both chinese joints in Sneads ferry, and Red Pepper is the best. I usually order while I am leaving the base and pick up on my way home. Enjoy! read more

Despite what Yelp currently reads, this is NOT a restaurant that delivers. That being said it was decent Chinese food. My vegetables were cooked well but, the sauce was very watery and not very flavorful. The vegetable egg rolls were pretty good but greasy and the fried rice was good. read more

This place was pretty yummy and reasonably priced. Call ahead & place your order, especially on the weekends when they're hoppin. There are 2-3 tables inside but it's tiny and very hot inside. Overall good experience. read more

Consistently acceptable Chinese food at a good price. Sometimes it is better than other times, but it is always decent.

Yes very inexpensive. But food just ok. Chicken lo mein was good. General tso not good at all. Crab Rangoon mediocre at best. Wouldn't go back. read more

Best Chinese food in Sneads Ferry. Order is ready in 15 mins, large portions and good prices. We usually eat here once a month...our "go-to" for picking up take out. Bon appetit! read more

Best asian food around! Great and fast service! my husband and I have loved everything we have gotten here. The crab Rangoon is awesome!! Their lo mein is delicious too! read more

Best Chinese food in the Ferry! Never disappoints. Super fast service, friendly staff, and delicious food.

Had the Rangoon, beef lo mein, pork fried rice, and sweet and sour chicken. All were very good and we waited less than 10 min for takeout. Glad we found this place! read more

This is my Chinese take-out place of choice in Sneads Ferry. The food is always really good, the people working there are friendly, and a big plus for me is that the vegetables always taste fresh. read more

Old time favorite in Sneads Ferry. Great take out but little space for eating in with only 2 or 3 booths. Large portions of good take out Asian food and done fast within 15 minutes of calling in. Highly recommended. Prices are great. read more

Yummy. Always fresh. Recommended. Friendly and lots of good selections. Pre order and pick up. Nesr the ABC store.

I always like this place! I order the veggie lo mein, crab ragoons and rice. My boyfriend usually gets the boneless rib tips and it is always delicious!!!!!!!!!!! Friendly staff and always good. read more

BEST PLACE FOR ASIAN FOOD. EVER. PERIOD. Don't waste your time going anywhere else. It's a bit of a hole in the wall kind of place. I always get it to go and take it home. They do have a few tables in the restaurant, but it's really more of a takeout place. Their sweet and sour sauce is by far the best I've had. Sweet and sour chicken and sweet and sour shrimp are my two favorites. Their pork fried rice is AMAZING. Crab Rangoon AMAZING. I've tried five or six main dishes and they all were outstanding. Their portions are generous and you definitely get your money's worth. Anything I've ordered I usually end up saving half for the next day. The people that work there are really nice. The food is always steaming hot and ready in about 15minutes. read more

I am finally signing up for this site just to post this review. I grew up in Jacksonville, on number 1 Chinese across from the high school. Yeah, you know the one. It was the best Americanized Chinese food ever!!! For really reals. I thought of it all the time when I left. I traveled the world & made my way almost back home, to Sneads Ferry....where I was introduced to Red Pepper. I'll admit, after having Red Pepper, I still dreamed of how amazing "numbah one" was. I thought to myself, man this is good...I can't wait to have No. 1 again! But then one night I had number one Chinese food again & OMG what a disappointment. You'll never know disappointment quite like you will when you try to recreate childhood dreams. Red Pepper is where it's at. Don't go anywhere else but here. The only downside is they give you a TON of red candy sauce, but I'm sure you can ask to not have so much. And sure I'd love more stuff in the crab Rangoon, but it's so freaking tasty...so maybe I'm just being greedy. Tonight when I opened my chicken (the sweet & sour kind... So... Crispy & freakin delicious) there were also little crispies in there! What an awesome bonus. I love little crispies!!! Anywho...if you don't want to fail at life, go to Red Pepper. You won't regret it. read more

I travel with my job everywhere from albany ny to the gulf and this place by far has the best general tso chicken I've eaten. The daughter of the owners sometines takes orders and she is the sweetest girl and so polite. read more

Absolutely will never eat here again ordered food my husband went to pick up he witnessed the man in the back mopping the floor and watched the girl take my food out of the big pot then the guy went from mopping the floor to mopping the wall right there at the food I refuse to ever eat there again before this we had hair in our food. read more

Best Chinese food in the area. Good service and food. It's a very small place, 10 seats total. However, it's great for takeout or a quick lunch. read more

My husband's and my favorite Chinese Takeout in the Camp Lejeune area. Their Lo Mein is great, and when you ask them to make it spicy? Hoo boy, do they deliver! Their egg rolls are a bit heavy compared to other places, but that's the way we used to get them back home in Chicago, so it was a nice surprise. Hubby swears by their shrimp fried rice, too. read more

This is the best Chinese in town, it won't knock your socks off, but the menu items are consistent and packed with flavor providing good bang for your buck. I recommend the crab Rangoons. read more

By far the best Chinese restaurant we've found. We are down here every year for vacation and it has by far become one of our favorites. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful, the food was fresh and delicious, not to mention they were pretty quick at getting the food out to us. Definitely recommend to anybody looking for good Chinese food. read more

Terrible food. Don't bother. Not sure how this even passes as a Chinese restaurant but can't say enough how disappointed I was in the quality of food. read more

Ordered orange chicken combo, got home opened it, hardly any vegetables in the rice, two pieces of broccoli, that's it, no orange flavor at all....never again, and it's not hot at all as the menu states, stay away from this place read more
