The food was absolutely amazing, and the service was attentive and friendly. The atmosphere is cute and family-oriented, which made our visit feel warm and welcoming. My husband and I ordered 3 sushi rolls, a General Tso's chicken, and an order of crab rangoons on their website and drove over to pick up at around 7pm on a Saturday night. Everything came out in under 10 minutes for pickup(I was living less than 5 minutes away) , and I was so amazed to see the size of the sushi rolls! This was my 3rd and final time eating at Fancy Sushi. While we were 3/4 way through our meal, my husband and I witnessed a live cockroach crawl up the window of the sushi bar on the outside facing us. It ran back down the glass into the bar and it this point I was fumbling for my phone to take video/photo. I moved the condiments that were directly in front of me and ended up seeing a baby cockroach dead on its back. I immediately informed the manager as she was bringing over a togo box and check. She grabbed a napkin, picked up the dead cockroach said, "I'm so sorry" and handed me the check. Stopped in for dinner on a Saturday. They have a nice little parking lot with free parking. The inside is quaint and cute. A decent amount of seating! The menu has lots of different sushi rolls and some other entrees. We ordered an appetizer of Rangoons that were very crispy! We then ordered two specialty rolls! They were pretty yummy. We've been visiting this place for years whenever we're in town. The parking lot is small and pretty tight when it's a busy night. It does tend to get pretty busy, but luckily when we went today there was no wait to be seated. Once we were seated it did take a little while for the waitress to come along and take our order, but we were in a big group and talking a lot so we really didn't mind too much. They used to bring out those wonton chips and sauce to the table when you're seated, but they don't bring that out any more. They brought out the food as it was done, so some were eating for a while before the last plate made it out to the table, but at least it was hot as we got it. I ordered the "vanilla gorilla roll" sushi and it was so good!!! My one kid had the California roll and edamame, and the other one had a small chicken fried rice (which was a HUGE portion). Oh my this place is really really good! I got coconut shrimp and tuna and salmon sashimi which is just huge chunks of raw fish that melted in my mouth! We arrived, and there was only one table sat. We were greeted immediately and brought to a table. You ordered egg rolls and edamame as an appetizer. The eggrolls are really good. I definitely suggest you get them if you come. My brother got shrimp tempura and another roll really enjoyed that. He also got a side ginger salad. My dad got hot and spicy chicken, which she stated was really good, it was a big portion so he took some home. My mom got honey chicken with fried, she stated that it was average and fried rice a bit off. I got the spicy salmon roll and spicy crab roll. I would say this was some of the best sushi that I have had. I will say my brother and I were supposed to get a side of rice with our sushi, but it never came. We honestly didn't notice until we left. For all of this and two beers it was $91.00. Once we got our food, the rest of the restaurant was filled. They definitely could put some music on so that it had some background noise. I would try the sushi place if you like sushi. I wish I could add pictures, but I was so hungry.
