Some coworkers at work were ordering lunch and I decided to join in on their order! I decided I wanted a lunch special. They were able to deliver on base which was really convenient. The prices were great and so were the portions. I ordered the kung pao chicken lunch special and it came with a spring roll and pork fried rice. The rice was good and so was the entree. I was so excited for my meal after not eating all day and even under the cover of me being starving, the food was still, SO bad. The General Tso's has no kick and barely any flavor, it might as well be BBQ. The quality of the chicken is TERRIBLE! I would've been fine with the lack of a good sauce but it was like eating old soggy breading. What little chicken I did bite into was dry and tough. The gyoza (steamed) has no flavor either. I had the hardest time deciding if my review was going to be 3 or 4 stars. Ordered lunch for delivery for my family of 5 one Saturday afternoon. We had an order of crab rangoons (10 pieces), 2 orders of fried chicken wings (4 in each order) and 3 combination platters that came with pork fried rice and a pork eggroll: Mongolian beef, chicken lo mein and General Tso's chicken. The food came earlier than expected, and our delivery guy was really nice. Food was hot and I was quite surprised to see my kids not wanting the lo mein. They opted for the fried rice, crab rangoons and chicken wings. Everything in our order was decent. I was not a fan of the crab rangoons because there were barely any filling. General Tso's chicken tasted okay, the lo mein was alright. My husband said the Mongolian beef was decent also. My favorite parts of our meal were the chicken wings and pork fried rice. I have heard a lot of people in my neighborhood say this is their go-to and I would not mind trying something different next time. But for $56 including delivery fees and such? AMAZING. We ordered delivery at 4:45 on a Friday evening and were told it would be an hour and it had have been here in 20 minutes. The food was blazing hot and fresh. Hubby got the chicken and broccoli combo, I got the sweet and sour chicken combo, and then we got a 2L Cherry Pepsi and crab Rangoon to share. The chicken and broccoli has to be the most delicious I've had - and I'm a Chinese take out nut. The Combos were amazing and hot (the Pepsi was ice cold). The only "complaint" is that the crab Rangoon didn't have much filling, so I'll probably pass on those next time. Was told an hour, arrived (correct order), in 45 minutes with a friendly delivery person. Food was actually too hot to eat right away! Vegetables were not overdone or swimming in grease. My husband ordered for delivery tonight and the wait was an hr and a half. We waited an hr and a half and they forgot 3 shrimp rolls we ordered. We called back and they immediately asked us if we wanted a credit instead of apologizing and trying to send it out. My husband told them we wanted the egg rolls and not a credit. They then said it would take ANOTHER hour to deliver 3 eggs rolls that they forgot! They said all of their drivers were out, and there was nothing they could do. So now we wait more for their mistake. I asked if we picked the egg rolls up if we could also get a credit. She got an attitude as if what I was asking was too much. If I'm inconvencing myself to get something I ordered for delivery and tipped for then I should be compensated for their inconvenience. Bottom line is they don't value their customers. We ordered Beef and Broccoli, Garlic Shrimp without the spice, Fried Rice, Sesame Chicken, Crab Rangoon and Chinese Doughnuts. Though the fried rice wasn't what I am used to it was very delicious. We have been eating here for about 5 years. We experimented and found them to be the best all round Chinese place. The wonton soup is great, tasty broth and very good wontons. My wife gets veggie egg foo yung and loves it and especially the sauce. My daughter is either orange chicken or chicken with broccoli.
