Hard shell taco and beef enchilada.

Excellent food. Fresh and original. Friendly employees too. Easy parking right outside the door. I highly recommend!

You get what you get at the Red Pepper...good no fuss ND Mexican food! Add a bit of nostalgia - UND grads - and you get the perfect dining experience. Still tastes like we remembered! Not sure if they still do, but back in the day they used local ground beef from a local butcher who grinds it into that perfect Red Pepper smooth beef! A must stop whenever we are in Fargo or Grand Forks!

This place should be judged on the food you get for the price you pay. It's really cheap to eat here and you get a good size meal for what you pay. It's not fancy, it's cheap food fast. That being said it was also pretty good. If you need to save money but have to eat then this would be one of those places.

The same tapestry that hangs in the original Red Pepper in Grand Forks

Red Pepper is up by NDSU in Fargo. It is a classic college quick food source. The first restaurant is in Grand Forks. This is the first place I go for food when I get off the plane They are known for ham grinders with taco meat and their secret white sauce which makes the entire sandwich

These tacos are the best. They are not the flimsy barely loaded kind. These are full

Major disappointment. Slow service and cold taco meat. I could get a better sandwich at a Stop N Go. Don't eat here.

The food was ice cold and the beans were so old they were crispy. The worker at the front counter was rude

This hotel was one of the nicest, if not The nicest in the area when it first opened, and it's nice to see them making incremental renovations and improvements to the property and service lately. The brunch included eggs, bacon, sausage, 2 kinds of potatoes, French toast, fairly large butterflied fried shrimp, prime rib and omelet stations (my omelet was excellent), popovers (near famous), assorted fresh fruit, and a wide array of desserts. I can't remember if there was a vegetable, but if it was there, I passed on it. The service was much improved from our last visit. We were a party of 7 ranging from age 2 to 74. Price was reasonable and everyone left pleased. The kids were free with paying adult so that was also nice. If you are a brunch person, I highly recommend you give them a try. -1 star: bacon could've been crispier and less stuck together, popovers should be served fresh out of oven instead of allowed to sit in brunch line

I want to like this place, I really do. I have been there three separate times over the last year…read morebut I probably will never go back. First Time: I came in with a big group for a Sunday brunch after church. The service was excellent, our waiter was really helpful and took great care of us. The food was really good as well. Second Time: My husband and I came in again about a month ago after seeing their was a prime rib special and decided to give the restaurant a try once again. Stopped by around 5:30, when we asked about the prime rib special the waiter told us that they were already out of prime rib. The waiter was very apologetic and asked us if there was anything else he could do for us. We were the only table in the restaurant and he clearly didn't want us to leave and he seemed very nice so we ended up staying. Once again the service was really good but the food was sub-par. Overall our meal went pretty well but we were really disappointed that we couldn't get the prime rib we came in for. Third Time: Tonight my husband and I were driving by and through we might see if they actually had any prime rib. We come up to the restaurant and were immediately told about a valentines day special from who I think might have been the manager. It wasn't even valentines day! We told her that we did not want to pay $70 for the both of us and that we came in for the prime rib special. Even though the restaurant was basically empty she wouldn't let us in to the restaurant unless we ordered off of the specialty $70 menu. At this point we were both pretty upset and decided to eat across the street at the green mill instead. The only reason I am giving a review of two stars is because their Sunday brunch was really good and the first two times we had great service.

I wanna try to be as honest as I possibly can be. I really enjoyed myself at Applebee's. This place…read moregets a bad rap for being a chain and having average service and food. Our experience in Fargo North Dakota was much different. The staff here was amazingly sweet... I think they call it North Dakota nice. The food was actually very tasty we had the new cheeseburger grilled cheese and soup along with some appetizers but mostly had drinks as we were in town for a friend funeral. We sat in the bar two separate occasions and both sets of bartenders and weight staff were amazingly sweet. The jukebox was on but not too loud and the televisions were running football and hockey but not overly loud so conversations could be had. Let's be honest it's Fargo... There's not a lot of choices for casual eats especially than walking distance of a hotel. This fit the bill and while our final bill was a little bit higher than what I was expecting we tend to forget how many cocktails we are drinking so that is not on them. Do yourself a favor go and enjoy.... the good people of Fargo North Dakota will take good care of you
