I visit this restaurant often. The staff are always friendly and the restaurant is clean. The food is consistently fresh and tasty. Suggestions I have would be to put in drive thrus at your restaurants or at least offer an express line for people who order by phone. Also having a way to order and pay online would be excellent. I know it's a small, local business but I'd like to see improvements that match the amount of business it gets. read more

The valley veg wrap is unmatched, fresh, crunchy, packed tightly in a wrap and grilled. The house made hummus is different since it is made with peanuts, it's great. I did carry out at lunch time, my order was ready in less than 5 min. Staff is friendly. Plenty of dine in space. Next time I want to try their pimento salad. read more

SO GOOD!! River Reuben is my favorite. Their soups are really good. They also serve desserts! After they bring the food, you get chips with it! The service was really nice too. The food was brought in less than 10 minute! It's very clean. Nothing was too dirty. from my experience, this restaurant was very nice! read more

My husband and I stopped here to find something for lunch that wasn't deep fried while traveling back to Detroit. There were multiple choices of sandwiches that weren't the common ham and cheese which was appreciated. We arrived a little after noon on a Monday and they were pretty busy. We got our grilled chicken wrap and sandwich to go. The sandwiches are NOT eat while driving conducive, so take a minute and sit down to eat. Given the time of day it did take a good bit of time to get our order, but other than that it was pretty good. read more

I stumbled into this charming sandwich shop while passing through town. The space is attractive, the people were friendly but the sandwich was just not my thing. I got a hot hoagie, maybe called chefwhich, with turkey, ham, two cheeses, tomato and lettuce. Sounds light and healthy, right? Then there was the hot mayonnaise that oozed from the sandwich. It was fat, on fat, on fat. It desperately needed some mustard, vinegar, or bitter greens to balance out all the cheese and mayo. It was also odd for the lettuce and tomato to be hot as if it were on the bread when toasted. The sandwich really did look good, but the taste had lunchroom vibes. It really is a cute spot and the people were great, but man do they love their mayo. Drip, drip, drip. read more

Great food and staff. Pizza was made with fresh ingredients and a great price. Highly recommend going to the pizza shop and deli. read more

We split a Colonel. It came with chips and a pickle. The deli meat was fresh and so was the roll it was on. Great deli sandwich.

Love love love this deli!! Moved to a job in Lagrange and tried this for the first time. The creamy pesto pasta salad is amazing. I prefer paninis but none were to my liking, so I'm very glad I was able to take a wrap and put it on a panini! The poncha chicken wrap , I ask for it as a panini with sourdough and it just hits the spot! Staff is always so hardworking and nice. read more

So good. The broccoli cheddar soup was AMAZING and had decent sized pieces of broccoli. The sandwiches are good too.

Stopped here on way back to Nashville. Excellent sandwiches, and would definitely go back.

The food is pretty good, and the salads are plentiful. The wraps are loaded but the sandwiches are not. I think it's a great place for lunch and to meet friends. They the bow tai pasta!! So delicious! read more

Great variety of sandwiches from savory to spicy. Soups were satisfying. I'd chose here over a McAllisters or Panera any day.

Red Pepper is pretty good. That is, if you like sandwiches and soups. They've got a pretty good selection of both. They also have other sides dishes like pastas, pimento cheese, and even banana pudding. The food here is pretty good and the counter service is simple enough. lots of seats, with a lot bar style that face the parking lot. Think more McAllisters than Subway. The hours get kind of strange, so I'd look them up beforehand. Do t bother going g on Sundays, as they're closed. read more

This staff is so patient and helpful. Oh my goodness. If I lived here, I would frequent this place alot. The sweet cashier helped me out so much as my first time here. My family got the kids pizza which they graciously made cheese only and I was able to buy goldfish and kids drink separately for my toddler who wouldn't eat a full meal but make a fuss about not getting what big sister got as far as her favorite drink and goldfish lol. We also got the Rufus and valley veg wrap. Both were great. The shop is very cozy and it was clean. The prices are very reasonable. I highly recommend this place. read more

Deli has lots of Sandwhich and salad options, friendly staff, efficient service, sampling options to help select a salad. Pretty straight forward dining room, we opted to sit outside. I had the locomotive sandwich which was a panini pressed roast beef. Tasty, however lettuce wilted which was a bit of a letdown, I might have preferred a sturdier green that could better withstand the heat of the press or remove it altogether read more

A group of friends and I stopped at the Red Pepper Deli for a quick dinner. The prices are quite reasonable for the size of sandwich and sides that you receive. Everyone seemed to enjoy their sandwiches. No one was blown away, but they were good. The potato salad was excellent. ...The reason for the 2 stars is because there was a blonde strand of hair in the first bite of the 2nd half of my sandwich. It was melted into the cheese and quite long. I could not eat another bite after that, and wouldn't go back because of it. read more

Sandwich and pasta salad are great. Would recommend Red Pepper to anyone. Reasonable price and big potions

This is a favorite of my teen niece so I had to check it out. First time there I tried the BLT. Surprise! Instead of plain mayo it was slathered with cucumber dressing. OMG so delicious! My niece always gets the farfalle pasta salad. She was coming over to help me with some painting and as a surprise I picked up a double portion so she could take the leftovers home with her. Well she forgot and I tried it the next day. Not being a great lover of leftover pasta salad I was hesitant. Another OMG! The pasta wasn't mushy and the flavors were yummy. Ok so enough about the food although grab a cookie or brownie for dessert because they're amazing too. The staff are so helpful and friendly. Decor nothing to write home about, but the food and staff are the best! read more

I was hungry and knew if I didn't eat now I wouldn't be able to eat for a while, enter Red Pepper. I ordered the Tuna Melt and it was better than it looked like it was going to be. It came with a small bag of chips but was a little pricey at $8.75. The service was also a little slow but I would imagine they are short staffed like everyone else. Overall everything was positive and will go back under the right circumstances. read more

Always fresh and delicious. They have been great with substitutions. The tuna melt is one of my favorites . They do take the time to take your order accurately and to be polite so sometimes you have to wait a bit. You order at the counter and someone brings your food to you. read more

Food was amazing. Store is literally fucking freezing though. Extremely cold and uncomfortable. Service was fine.

Went here w a big family including kids after a day at nearby Yew Dell. It was a perfect crowd pleaser. The menu has enough variety for the sandwich aficionados and those who love some classics. Rye bread was delicious and the portions are ample without leaving you stuffed. Despite being clearly understaffed the day after Thanksgiving the food came quick without any hiccups. Several of our group commented how great their sandwiches were. read more

Ending 2020 strong by supporting a local business! My coworkers and I decided to order lunch today to celebrate the end of the year and I'm glad we chose Red Pepper. The food was ready very quickly (we called the order in and it was ready just minutes later). It was still very warm when we picked it up and everything was delicious. Red Pepper has a large variety of different sandwiches, paninis, wraps, and grinders, so there's plenty for everyone to choose from. In fact, the options can be a little overwhelming because there are so many. There are also soups and salads, but this is definitely more of a sandwich place. Make sure to end your lunch with a cookie! read more

One Afternoon on our way to a nearby brewery in Crestwood we stopped "on good recommendation of yelp reviews" at a new place called Red Pepper Deli. It sits in a tiny hidden spot at the entrance of a new neighborhood can be I bit hard to notice. Their neighboring spaces were vacant. Still a new building there was plenty of parking. We entered to a busy crowd. You order at counter, Choose from a nice variety of salads, panini's, soups and sandwiches made to order were your food is delivered to the table. The selection of pasta was many with sampling's to try on request. We chose Panini and a Rubin on a tasty rye bread the sauerkraut-was Light with a crisp freshness. Our sandwiches and tomato pasta salad was delicious. The line to order steadily flowed the entire time. RPD is a thriving business which delivers quality at a good value. With a appetite satisfied we continued to the brewery for another sweet surprise. Note; inside RPD there is a ice cream shop which wasn't serving? limited weekend hours which seemed odd with this thriving business. Looking forward to returning soon. read more
