Our washer started leaking water last year and we had a new one installed the next day. They always follow up to make sure that everything is okay and really encourage open communication. They keep up the grounds and common space so beautifully and communicate clearly and with lots of notice about anything that's happening around the complex. It's a really quiet, kind group of people who we are lucky to call neighbors. Also, we are a queer couple-- we toured three other places in Issaquah and this was the only one where the person giving us a tour didn't say something weird. The time finally came this past September and it has been an absolute DREAM! The Property Management team is kind, helpful and most of all Respond with Urgency to any questions or issues I may have. About two months in my dishwasher was having some weird issues so I put in a request through the digital Residential Portal for someone to come look at it. They were there the next day, discovered the issue and completely replaced the dishwasher in 30 min with a new one! When does that ever happen in that time frame? My last property took two months to fix my ice maker! NEXT DAY YALL! The Daily Trash Valet is amazing and so convenient and so are the GIANT community trash and recycling bins which are convenient and hidden so you aren't looking at trash! They just installed a fire pit at the pool which I am super excited to get to use this summer right after my gym sessions in the 24 hour gym! This place has all the luxury without any of the fuss or complications that come with luxury! I am so proud to call Boulder Creek my home!!

It took me nearly 4 months to write this review, as I was giving Boulder Creek and Simpson property the chance to make things right. However, due to minimal (if any) progress after months & limited to no communication - I have to rate this property a zero. When we came to walk around the general area- we noticed that construction was being done on our entire building. We were assured that it would be completed prior to our move in. We stressed our concerns, as the stairs leading to the front door were completely blocked off - meaning the resident could only use the stairwell in the garage to come/go from their apartment. This was a concern because the stairs in the garage are narrow and steep- which we pointed out would not be accessible for our dog (who has arthritis) nor would there be space for us to move our furniture in on moving day. On our move in day we received a call telling us that there was a last minute meeting they had to attend, so our move in time would have to be pushed back. Not the best first impression for brand new tenants. Not only did this disrupt our plans for the day, but it affected our truck rental, & the people we had helping us. (What if we were paying movers by the hour?) There was no regard for us and our time. Moving is stressful already, but this was an added stress, cost & an awful introduction to our first true experience at Boulder. Within the first two weeks (some of these issues are still current) we had the following work orders/notices that we submitted and brought to the attention of Boulder Creek: 1. Floor transitions & carpet not tacked down 2. Carpet nails all over 3. Blinds installed incorrectly 4. Dishwasher had a broken heating mechanism and needed to be replaced 5. Washer hoses were mixed & all settings ONLY sent out hot water 6. Cabinetry falling off the wall because it was glued and not nailed 7. Patio door (that was blocked since move in until more recently- has a different lock that we don't even have a key for, so it is not useable 8. A VERY strong odor of urine in one corner of the kitchen (mice infestation inside walls), and a strong odor of mildew in our kitchen pantry (both of these took a long time to address and are still not 100% resolved) a. After many phone calls and emails, we asked them to cut a hole in the drywall in our pantry only to find out the dryer vent was never connected- so wet lint has been flying through our walls. (Fire hazard! And the main source of mildew- which we still smell on occasion) 9. Our garage door broke 3 times within a 2- week span 10. Uneven sidewalk that is sinking into the ground, & consistent flooding with any rainfall 11. Mossy and unkept patio concrete (we were told this would be power washed) 12. Abysmal landscaping due to ongoing construction 13. Mouse infestation in our walls 14. Exposed dry rot since Day 1 of move in (part of the 'construction'- mind you, the dry rot was never disclosed to us prior to move in) We have had people in/out of our apt what seems like nearly every day. We can barely unpack, because every time we begin, there is a new issue. Unfortunately, this is why I wanted to leave this public review of our experience here, so others can make the decision for themselves if this is a property they want to be a part of. During our time living here, we had limited access to our front door, & ongoing construction 5 days a week for 2+ months. The above issues have made our apartment uninhabitable at many points. These apartments are well over $3200, and do not match that price tag. I have attached photos so people can understand the severity of some of these ongoing issues. I had hoped for more communication, and resolution, but it seems like that is not something Boulder Creek or Simpson properties is open to. The pros of our time here: Our building neighbors are wonderful. Spencer (the handyman) was helpful and acknowledged the interior issues we had, the construction crew has been very friendly and worked with us so we could have more accessibility with our dog while they were working.

I'm serious, the office and maintenance staff people are awesome! The 3 office young ladies (40's isn't old) are very nice and smile. They always try to assist if you have an issue and even listen to your complaints when you know they can't do anything about it. At least I feel better after bringing something up. I really appreciate their work in organizing and keeping our packages safe, taking on inconsiderate residents, and coming up with resident events. The maintenance guys are awesome too! Kevin will be missed but Jay has stepped up and has taken over as the person who never stops moving! I'm very impressed about how much these guys are able to accomplish in a single day. They are always running around knocking stuff out. Again, they're always friendly and smiling. They are all just good people to be around. Ok, ok, there has to be something that you don't like right? Absolutely! If I owned the property, I would have made different decisions on where to spend my budget. It's not just about the facade of the building but the internal workings that also matter. That's if you want to keep people paying a premium to live here. It has to be cheaper to keep a resident than to flip the unit. It's advertised as a luxury apt complex so it should deliver. Where do I start? They spent a lot of money on the A/C units but the hallways are still hotter than they were with the old system. Fix the hallways and tint the hallway windows. It's normally 90 degrees with the A/C on! It's terrible. I'm sweating by the time I get down to my car. We have the slowest elevators that I have ever used in my entire life. They are terrible. Plus 1 door is rubbing pretty bad. Instead of fixing them, we received new low-light, light fixtures in all of the hallways. They had to go back and install recessed lighting due to how dark it was. The new mirrors in the elevators remind me of Las Vegas and they are still terrible. The NE corner emergency stairwell of the open/upper parking garage doesn't lock so you'll find a transient living at the top of the stairwell every couple of weeks. It needs to be secured or another door added so people can't go up the stairwell. The worst is the EV parking. I don't think the electrician did a very good job. There are only 3 spots left. I believe 2 of the spots are on the same breaker so if a non-Tesla vehicle tries to charge, it throws the breaker. Oh yeah, they 100% need to install wifi in the garages. We can't update our vehicles. Hey, it's the new EV world order. Here's a funny one. There's a cool looking bridge with what appears to be a roof for residents to use that connects the 2 buildings. It just looks like a roof but there's no roof! The beams were never covered so you'll be wet when you're trying to cross. The pool has been leaking into the parking garage for over a year so we're out 2 parking spaces. The waterfall feature for the hot tub no longer works so we've missed out on that for several months. The noise would drown out some of the noise created by people at the pool. Something else that I don't like about the property are the junk charges. For instance, you receive an electric bill for your unit then you receive another electric bill from the property for the property! That means the renters are paying for the common areas by being forced to split up the electric for the hallway lights, hallway A/C that doesn't work, the pool, EV charging, etc. My monthly common area bill has steadily increased. I'm paying the highest rent in the area. You guys pay your own electric bill. The parking is definitely the highest I've had to pay at $150 a spot. Honestly, if it wasn't for the staff, I would have bought a place on M.I. or in Bellevue already. 5 Stars for the staff and 3 for the owners.

Her one bedroom apartment is well-appointed, clean, cozy, has ample storage & closet space, and even has its own washer & dryer. The staff knows every resident's name, and I watch as they make important personal connections every day. Safety is paramount, requiring each resident to push a "check-in" button located in each apartment, between 5am-9am. If the resident does not check-in, the staff immediately checks on them.

This is not the place you want to go to if you need 24 hour medical attention visa vi dementia ward type care but if you do need a round the clock care taker they offer that as well. If you want to maintain a sense of executive ownership of your own transportation they have private valet included as well as to restaurants for food and transportation that simply tailored to your desires. The staff checks in with you every day and there are constant intercommunity activities as well as be able to schedule your own Uber black style private town car for transportation pretty much anywhere in Bellevue. There is also a weekly transportation trips into Seattle up to Everett and up to Kirkland if you want to make a weekly Costco trip for normal supplies. The staff here is pretty much specifically instructed to dote on you and spoil you and help you out with things and that is so nice to see the facility that really looks to serve its residents individual needs. Full disclosure I am one of the weekend drivers at this facility and I've taken people to dozens of different kinds of locations and we're really there to serve the residence.
