I give this place 3 1/2 stars. First time being in red lobster. Im not a seafood person but others were so they liked it. I just had the mushroom, soup, potatoes and sausages. Those were decent. It was dead during 8pm for dinner unless people ate early and left. Not many people were there. Service was mediocre. She did come by to check up on us to see how are things going. Took a little bit longer to get some things as she was the only waitress. When you enter, you can see a couple of lobsters in a tank which goes for the name red lobster. Drink was lacking much of the alcohol. Could've been a splash of alcohol in there. read more

We come to this Red Lobster every Christmas Eve to celebrate rate a friend's birthday. He always requests Edy if she's working. Edy is a fantastic hostess and friendly, ensuring we always have full drinks and checking back faithfully to see if we are satisfied. Today, she went the extra mile to hold the birthday cake, I brought for our friend, in the back until we were done with our meals. She then brought the cake AND, in addition, an ice cream sundae for our friend. She always remembers our friend's name and that his birthday is Christmas Day. We have always had great food and service here over the past 5 years! There was a problem getting a gift card code to work so the manager came to our table to help. She was friendly and very accommodating, ensuring she got the gift card applied. Would definitely recommend read more

We are from out of town and changed our reservations from an upscale restaurant to go to Red Lobster. Unfortunately, this was a bad idea. The staff was less than ecstatic to be there, we had to send our steak back two times because it was still alive, the lobster was undercooked and the cocktails were not good. We spent close to $150 for this meal. In the old days Red Lobster this was where to go for an exceptional treat. This is not the case case now. At least, not for this restaurant... and the last couple of Red Lobsters that we have tried. This particular restaurant is not all that clean or even welcoming when you first come in. The waiter, who we caught & asked to seat us, said OK and then walked away. He never came back. Unfortunately, this ended up also being our waiter. Unfortunately, this will be the last time we visit a Red Lobster. The chance of a high priced meal is not worth the reward risk. It's just not good anymore. I hope this helps anyone who is looking for a place to eat when going to Roswell, New Mexico. Coolest place ever! But not when it comes to eating at a Red Lobster. Had we been dining in we certainly would have questioned the waiter or asked for a manager. It's really sad this is what they are sending out the door to their customers. Came here on Sunday on Labor Day weekend and was thoroughly disappointed. Tried to order drinks for the kids, but they were out of milk. Then they wanted root beer, they were out of that. Then they wanted lemonade, they were out of that too. We were looking forward to salads, but they were out of all salad too so they offered an additional side. They only had various types of potatoes and steamed broccoli. They had premium sides like corn on the cob and asparagus, but they still up-charged for those even though they were out of everything else. Soon after we ordered our broccoli, we heard them telling the next table that they were out of broccoli too. So their choices were potato, potato, or potato, or pay additional for something else. Nicely played, Red Lobster. Baked potatoes only came after the meals were on the table in about 15 minutes. Shouldn't have bothered bringing them because they were not cooked through and very hard and we couldn't eat them. Biscuits weren't ready until the potatoes were too. When we got the bill, we realized that we were charged almost 4 dollars each for the children's drinks, a premium flavored lemonade, that the waiter brought on his own since they were out of the regular lemonade (my kids' THIRD choice). Kids drinks are supposed to be included with their meal. I understand it's a busy holiday weekend, but I think the manager should make a run to the grocery store to get them through the weekend, at least for salad greens and broccoli. I felt sorry for the servers. Places like that are miserable to work for when they take the brunt of the customers' disappointment. read more

Well, it's not up to the quality of the Brea, CA location, but this is Roswell, NM and I'm sure the aliens have something to do with it. Food was ok. I mean it's Red Lobster, I went in expecting mediocre at best however the restaurant was not very clean. Upon walking in there were 4 servers standing around the hostess stand. They seemed to have more than enough staff for the amount of business they had. The floor was littered with paper and who knows what. Great greeting for customers! Also the bathroom floor was STICKY. I don't even know what to say about that. Didn't get a refill until after I was done eating either. No one seemed to be in a hurry to do their jobs. read more

I wish I could give zero stars. We didn't even get to try the food so I can't speak to that. What I can say is the service is terrible. I should have known when at 6 on a Friday evening they weren't busy. We were seated right away and gotten drinks right away. Then no one ever came back. We sat there 20 minutes and no one asked if we had questions took or order or even acknowledged us. The person who got our drinks, whom I assume was our server was chatting with other employees but couldn't be bothered with us. Several other servers walked past us and didn't acknowledge us. We left money on the table for our drinks and left and no one spoke to us. My husband was really looking forward to seafood, but we went down to cattle Barron where not only did we have excellent service as always but my husband is able to get superb seafood. Craving seafood in the desert so we decided on Red Lobster.... first impression upon walking in the place definitely needs a deep cleaning and/or a remodel because it's looking very shabby. Our waitress was very nice and attentive and helpful with the overwhelming menus. We started with drinks and a $5 shrimp cocktail. Cocktail was good and so we were hopeful. Drinks were fine too although polishing glassware would definitely help. Glasses were covered in hard water spots. Ordered our meals. Few options that weren't an upcharge for sides. Bread came out hot and delicious. Salads were ok. Ceasar dressing was tasteless, romaine was yellow and either stems or floppy, parmesan was dry and flavorless. I had clam chowder which was good but many of the clams were gritty. Main course arrived and was very disappointing. My son had a create your own feast and chose shrimp alfredo and crab legs (upcharge). Shrimp were so chewy he picked them out and ate the pasta. Crab legs were freeze burnt. For sides he had asparagus (upcharge) that were yellow floppy and greasy and lobster mashed potatoes (upcharge) a scoop of potatoes covered with unappealing yellow gravy and one langostino tail. My boyfriend had a steamer basket which didnt look steamed at all. In fact it looked baked to a crisp. The corn kernels were shriveled on the cob, lobster tail was shriveled and buried under the other things probably because the cook was embarrassed. His crab legs were also freezer burned. He ate a couple of the shrimp and couldn't eat the rest. I had coconut shrimp that were good, crispy and not freezer burned, for aside I had a baked potato with lobster (upcharge) which was barely the size of a tennis ball, dry and overcooked, covered with the same unappealing yellow sauce and a single langostino tail. My daughter had a steak, cooked temperature ordered but with tough gristle throughout, notvery tender. For sides she had mashed potatoes and fries both of which looked unappealing and she skipped. Our waitress was very polite and seemed embarrassed at how little food we ate but didn't offer to change anything or make it right. One of the most disappointing meals we've had. After spending $150 on a meal we barely touched we went grabbed fast food on our way home. No matter how bad you are craving seafood I'd skip this location. read more

06/14/20 I took my mom out for her birthday she was so excited to go out to eat since we've been on quarentine (for what seems forever). Mind you we had to drive over 70 miles to go to Red Lobster. Upon arrival short 5 min wait to be seated. Drinks were brought promptly to the table great start. Waiter comes over and we order immediately he tells us they are out of salad...no problem we all order another side. Waiter is very attentive checking on us. As he delivers our plates he says I'm sorry were out of baked potatoes. Doesn't offer alternative just says I'll get a manager. Manager comes over only offers excuses (mind you my husband works in a grocery store) so I understand shortages and deliveries being cut back. Never did she try to offer or accomadate our inconvenience in any way shape or form. We still paid regular prices for no sides. I kept my cool so I would not ruin my moms bday but c'mon! I haven't eaten at a Red Lobster for over 15 years, but this seemed a good place to go to when visiting Roswell. No need to be frightened by the food when the aliens are all over that town. We came on a Wednesday, which is the whole lobster special day. The lobsters were excellent. The salad and mashed potatoes were good too. The main disappointment was the green beans. Kind of mushy. As an aside, we went to a Red Lobster in Salt Lake City a few days later, and there, the green beans were excellent. read more

Had lunch at Red Lobster today; could not have been better. Coconut Shrimp was perfect, catfish was great, Maine lobster tail was succulent; even the salad was fresh and delicious. Pina Colada with a peach topper was the best, although the Caramel Appletini was a bit disappointing. Service was excellent and all in all a great experience. This was literally the worst Red Lobster I have ever been to. Now the waitress was super sweet and very attentive, but the food- a big NO! The Caesar salad was soggy, the margaritas were so sweet (like it was just mix) we couldn't drink them, the shrimp that was supposed to come with my meal was forgotten and brought out ten minutes after the meal was served- let's not forget about them being over cooked, and my husband's lobster tail was so over cooked it wouldn't even come out of the tail! He stuck his fork in it and turned it upside down and NOTHING. One of the boys got this new lobster roll item off of the kids menu for over $10, and it was about 1/2 cup of chopped lobster on top of a roll that resembled a hot dog bun. And fries. Went in today for Mother's Day with my wife and two kids. Typically my kids are well behaved and cause no problems while eating out at any restaurant. However, today our youngest wasn't feeling all that well and decided to let everyone in the place know it. The waiter was kind and understanding. He tried his best. Knowing it was Mother's Day, there was a line out the door. They had us seated in less than 15 minutes. Not bad considering that in Lubbock, we have waited up to an hour to get a table. This place was very busy. The waiter and management tried to help with our crying kid. Finally, I had to leave to go buy the kid a blanket so that he could sleep. When our food came out, you can tell that it had been sitting for a while. When a manger asked if we liked our food, I was honest. It was over-cooked. The manager was very apologetic. She sent the food back and within minutes, we got a new plate, this time up to par of what Red Lobster usually serves. I understand that they were busy. And for a person who has worked as a waiter before, I was sympathetic. The manager told us that she took care of our bill. She didn't need to or have to do this. We were shocked, but humbled. She said that she had been watching us with our kid, and was understanding to the stress level of a crying kid can bring upon parents. She shared about being a mother herself. We were not out to get free food. We have never once allowed our children to be an excuse. We are thankful for that manger and that waiter, who later shared with us that he has an autistic child. I read all the reviews about the service and food quality and although they weren't great and most were at least a year old, we decided to give it a try. We stopped in on a Sunday at around 2:00 and our service was perfect. His name was Scott and he was nice and did a great job. The food was up to Red Lobster quality and came out timely and hot. The restaurant is clean. The only thing I would suggest is that if you get a salad, get the dressing on the side if you don't like an over dressed salad. read more

Had a good lunch experience with my family at end of July. Came in a week later to celebrate my Dad's 90th birthday hoping to have another happy experience but to their detriment it was poor service from beginning to end. Waiter was inattentive and we had to get up and ask for another beer. We finished our meal and just as we were getting up to pay for it, waiter finally brought biscuits and my dads beer but it was too late and we proceeded to counter to pay since the poor guy obviously was new and unskilled in customer service. Overall we enjoyed our meal and didn't have any complaints. The waitress spent a lot of time flirting with the geezer at the table next to mine. She also tried to chat me up, after I waited too long for every single item.
