Honestly, I got kinda forgotten at first, but Haylee K came through and took really good care of me. I'm driving through from Cali. She was super sweet, really attentive, and just turned the whole experience around. I really appreciate her, she saved it for real. The food was so good super hot and fast. Better than the red lobster back home. read more

Unfortunately, my experience here was disappointing. I had the Bar Harbor Lobster Bake on Saturday night and have been dealing with digestive issues ever since--now on day three. The complimentary rolls didn't arrive until we asked for them, and only once our entrées were served. On a positive note, the calamari was tasty, though a bit too heavily breaded for my liking. The restaurant itself feels quite dated and could really use a remodel--it has a very early '90s vibe. Given the overall experience, it's not surprising to hear they've faced financial troubles. read more

Red Lobster - Bar Harbor Lobster Bake - Seafood Near Me - Davenport, Iowa

As expected for a Red Lobster. Decent food, decent service and it worked for us! Perfect for dinner in Moline!

Went tonight. Disappointed! Ordered Salmon Oscar and asparagus. It came to the table with salmon and baked potato. Waited 10 minutes for the waitress to come back. We tell her and she comes back with the Oscar to put on top of my cold salmon and the asparagus. My husband was already eating and now I was not going to wait for a fresh meal so I told her to forget serving me. We got his to go. Yuk! Seafood is not good to go so the experience tonight was NOT Good. It's not the money, we had gift cards. This was the whole idea I was served cold salmon in the end read more

I have been coming to Red Lobster two or three times a week for months for your excellent clam chowder. Last week it tasted different. Today I realized it is definitely different. I do not like it at all. I will no longer visit your restaurant two or three times a week for your clam chowder. I hate it. You made a huge mistake by changing the recipe. What were you thinking? Food was great. Service was not. Arrived 6:30 pm on Sunday 5/24 for birthday dinner for 12 year old. he requested this place. 5 people eating 2 adults 2 12 year olds and 7 year old. All drank water 4 endless shrimp and one mac and cheese kids meal. Took 15 min or longer for water not biscuits were ready (understandable). After waiting 2 other tables set in our section. We at this time had no drinks or biscuits. Both tables got drinks and biscuits before us. Food came out at this time we needed 2 water refills put cups at end of table. Mom ate her plate and finished still no water, or biscuits mom then turned plate side ways, dad finished pushed plate forward then both 12 year olds finished. Mom took all plates and stacked them no needing 4 waters refilled and shrimp refills and 7 year old almost done. Finally wait staff came got what refills were reminded we had no biscuits (dad wanted his biscuits:). And that we needed water. Waited more time food came out. Shortly needed more water which was never filled until dad and one 12 year old did one more round of shrimp. Requested the bday boy treat and she asked what he would like. As we had not been here since the location in our city closed thought they may have changed things. Brought out shrimp refills and informed us that the desert he ordered we would have to pay for but she could give him a scoop of ice cream ( which never came). Paid for everything and left it took 1 hour and 30 lots of staring at the tables getting things before us and the waitstaff at one point brought us soda and lemonade when we were waiting on water it was not for our table. read more

I'm truly disappointed because I was really looking forward to this meal. I do think it matters what day you come.... We were here this February and everything was excellent, but it was 11:30 on a Wednesday. This time it was lunchtime on Saturday, and there was a marked difference. I 'created my own' feast, and had to send back my lobster tail because the meat itself was dark grey and almost black along the edges. I've never seen a lobster tail look like that, my waitress said she 'did not notice that' and was apologetic. The one she brought back didn't look much better but thankfully tasted good. Service overall was slow, waitress was inattentative, may have been stretched too thin. Wish I could give more stars because I used to love this place but it could use some updates and a good scrubbing. read more

Hey, it's red lobster.... It actually was very good, but you can't expect 5 star dining.... I got extra sauce with mine which made it great even though the sauce was broken..... Very good for a red lobster and the cheese bread biscuits were good so thumbs up if you went with the right expectations read more

You think if you've been to one chain you've been to the all. Well I stand corrected. My family and I went here unexpectedly for dinner the night I flew in. I haven't been to Red Lobster in well over a year and I was pleasantly surprised at the new menu changes. Of course some of the items are gone but they upgraded others. They have hand breaded tenders now and I was quite surprised to see that. Major upgrade from the frozen ones they used to have. Of course the cheddar bay biscuits were the star and I forgot to even get a picture because as soon as the bread hit the table it was gone lol. For dinner I opted for the coconut shrimp dinner with broccoli and baked potato. The shrimp was perfectly fried and crispy my sides were also good. The pina colada sauce that you get with the shrimp you must get extra because it is that good. It's the perfect balance of sweet and tangy to go along with the coconut battered shrimp. We were too full for dessert. Our sever Rhonda was the best. She kept the refills up and the order of shrimps coming as my father had endless shrimp. Overall this location was more than exceeded my expectations. read more

As soon as we walked in I noticed a smell. We used the restroom to wash our hands before being seated. The women's smelled like a diaper pail. Not of one dirty diaper, but many. We were seated quickly but no matter where we went there was a stench. To be honest it smelled like the place was cleaned with a mop bucket of dirty water that had sat for days. The food was fine but hard to enjoy with the smell. One would expect a smell of fish but this was not that. This was around 1pm on a Monday. Business was slow. Several servers standing around. As we were leaving another party was upset and complaining to the manager. All and all not a very good day for RL. read more

Unprofessional employees can ruin a business. With Red Lobster in financial trouble this is something that should really be examined. My husband and I have always been fans of Red Lobster, but after last night we will not be returning to its Davenport location, ever. We knew it would be busy as it was Valentine's Day, so we ordered online and did a curbside pickup which we have done many times in the past. We arrived on time and called the number on the sign to let staff know we had arrived. The first time we called no one answered. I called back and I told the employee that I was waiting for a curbside pickup and it was hung up on aggressively. I called back two more times with no answer. The third time the same person answered and when I told her I was waiting for a curbside order she stated, "It will be out shortly." she didn't ask for my name or parking space number. I told her my name and space number anyway, but she didn't seem to care. We waited another 20 minutes. No one came out so my husband went inside. He said that there were three people at the bar chatting with four bags of food in front of them. He asked if one of the bags were his and the waitress said, "Probably." Then turned her back to him and continued talking to her coworkers. He took his bag of food and left the other three sitting there. I am a reasonable person who understands that it was a busy night, but the behavior of the employees was improper and disrespectful. To top it all off, when we got home we realized the food was cold and tasteless. (I wish I would have taken pictures.) Definitely not worth the nearly 100 dollars spent or the 37 minutes spent fuming in the parking lot. read more

Terrible service! Party of 7. Called 2 hrs ahead (although they don't take reservations). Still waited over 30 minutes for our table. Had to ask for rolls after sitting over 30 minutes. Salads arrived after that, still no cutlery or napkins. Table of 2 next to us, seated After us were leaving after their meals.,, we still waited. They even came to our table to comment on the inefficiency we all experienced. 1.5 hrs later 5 of the 7 meals arrived..,, all COLD! After talking to 2 (what I guess were assistant managers), the Manager came to our table. I asked him for us to move away from the crowd to discuss the situation. We met away from the table. Manager offered 25% off our food. I said no. He comped our food as long as I agreed to tip the staff well. ‍ Offered a handshake and he declined. What!!??' I tipped 64% reluctantly, but will NEVER visit this establishment again! read more

How they can serve tough Filet Mignon and Lobster tails as these prices is beyond me. How do you make a tough lobster tail....let alone serve it? We have given them plenty of tries over the years but after this last visit we totally gave up. We won't be stopping here again. read more

My husband and I are always looking for a Red Lobster to eat at on our travels. We stopped in Davenport IA on our way through on Mother's Day. It was busy, but our wait time was small considering. We had a drink at the bar and then were seated. The food was delicious, but could have offered condiments when serving, had to ask for butter and salt and pepper. The lobster potato's weren't my favorite for the up charge. read more

UH-MAZING!! Great service and wonderful food. Very filling and didn't have to wait long for anything. It wasn't packed and we quickly got things when we asked for them. I went to this Red Lobster twice in the past 2 weeks for Crabfest. Our first visit was very nice and of course the Garlic Butter Crab was excellent. So we decided to go again and this time I had the Le mon Pepper Crab, which was also very tasty. There was no issue with the food at all, everyone enjoyed it, and we all had the Crab. The problem was the server on our second visit. First off my grandson ordered a Watermelon Martini, instead she brought him a Watermelon Margarita. He said he would drink it anyway and she said she would give it to him for same price as the Martini. We placed our order. Between receiving our drinks until the food game out she came just one time to deliver a salad to one of my guests. Our dinner came out and one person that ordered the garlic Crab asked for a little cup of drawn butter. The waitress snidely remarked you want butter?? She made this girl feel bad for asking for it. I ordered Cole slaw as my side andvI had to ask the server to bring it. We asked for more biscuits and never received those, nor did we see the server again until she came over to do the little machine on the table so I could pay the bill. In reviewing the bill I noticed she did not reduce the price on the watermelon margarita. I reminded her of that and she did remove it from the bill. Then she asked how much of a tip are you leaving. I Saud what are the options. She said 20% and 25%. I knew she was lying because the week before on a paper there was three choices. I was flabbergasted, orcI would have thought quick enough to say the tip would be cash. But I didn't and just told her 20%. That by the way came out to 34.00 and change. I feel cheated because honestly she was not worthy of a tip at all. I do not have an issue with paying a nice tip, but these servers need to earn that 20 to 30 per cent. I think Red Lobster needs to retrain some of there servers. Therefore I am rating you at 2 stars. Very unhappy about this visit. By the way I have been going to Red Lobster for the past 40 years and this is the first negative review I have ever written. read more

Chain restaurants...not a huge fan because I like supporting locals and chains can sometimes have questionable quality. Also. Seafood in the Midwest is not really fresh unless it's local. So why the hickory heck did we go here? Well, we were in the area and wanted to see what the fuss was and had set our expectations accordingly. If you do that it's ok. The space is really big and very family friendly. The server was great, very nice. We had: I got 2 Bahama Mamas and a hurricane. All of them were ice-fruity cocktails. Not too sweet. Refreshing spiked smoothies. My companion got a jumbo Blue Moon and Coors Lt. Then the Cheddar Bay biscuits which everyone says are bitchin. But, I mean they're drop biscuits w/ cheese and seasoning. If you're hungry I guess I understand. Salad. My salad they forgot then brought late (and was still missing croutons). My dc liked his. My dining partner got a linguine w/ lobster tail, scallops, shrimp, clams all in white wine and garlic sauce. He had it before during Lobster Fest and is still smitten. I didn't try it but it didn't look special. I got the wood fired Lobster tail, with scallops, shrimp skewer on wild rice pilaf. Mundane. The fish/shell fish tasted frozen and drenched in butter. The lobster was the star of the plate. The rice was tiny and crunchy (?). We ordered key lime pie at the start of the night. The nice server comped it for forgetting my salad then bringing the wrong one. I had a bite and it was ok. My dc liked it. I think this is alright for a lowkey evening or with family or if you are passing through. read more

Welcome to Red Lobster, where the menu is overloaded with fried or sauce-laden crustaceans and customers buy into the inflated pricing system due to an unfortunate dearth of seafood (/exposure to seafood) in the tragically landlocked Midwest. This was my second visit. I didn't love it. I ordered lobster bisque and lobster mashed potatoes, but found neither item to be particularly appetizing. The lobster bisque was overpoweringly sweet. There had to be added sugar. It was crazy. The lobster on the mashed potatoes was okay, but the potatoes themselves were lumpy and bland, and the portion size was tiny. My mom got the unlimited shrimp dinner ($18. For $18, I could cook her SO MUCH SHRIMP, and she only got like 1 extra plate of food. Highway robbery, I'm telling you) and she let me try her shrimp alfredo, which looked and tasted exactly like Elmer's glue. I found refuge in the warm cheddar biscuits, which came free and in unlimited quantities and were, without qualification, my favorite part of the meal. I get that Red Lobster is your grandma's favorite restaurant but YOU can do so much better! Unless it's Grandma's night to pick, do yourself a favor and go somewhere else. read more

The food was pretty good. Our server Abby was very nice and funny. Honestly one of the nicest I've had.

This place was very busy, But I only had to wait about 10 minutes for a table. The server was polite, I ordered steak and lobster, with the steak medium with asparagus and mashed potatoes It took a while but when the food came the lobster was good, the steak was well done. I asked the server if she could get me a steak that was cooked medium. I was able to eat my entire dinner and wait another five minute Before the steak returns, solo, cooked medium. When the bill came, I was charged full price for the meal. I asked if there was going to be an adjustment due to my food being miss cooked and not being able to enjoy my dinner. The server went and asked the manager who then took 10% of when the bill came, I was charged full price for the meal. I asked if there was going to be an adjustment due to my food being over cooked and not being able to enjoy my dinner. The server went and asked the manager who then took 25% off. It would have been nice if they offer the discount as a way of apologizing for not getting my food right, but they did make it right in the end so too that I am grateful read more

I decided to go to RL for their annual shrimp fest . I use to enjoy RED Lobster and went a couple times a year . I did read the reviews before I went this time and was surprised to see how very poor reviews RED L. got. As soon as I walked in the door I started seeing just why these people were giving such a lousy reviews. I was seated quickly but the greeter was Stone Cold no personality and just took me to a booth and said here. ( I TOOK THAT AS PURE RUDE ) It didn't improve any when the server came to the table she acted like she was just bored no personality was not friendly in anyway I tried to talk to her she acted like hurry up I got other things to do. I used to consider Red Lobster as fairly casual dining but their menu has changed like they're trying to be a Manhattan New York restaurant .The prices have really increased and their policies on the menu have really changed the food was just mediocre ... I didn't even leave a tip it was just that bad .. so it'll be a long time ( more like ) never that I will return to Red Lobster They need to get their act together or is going to be a parking lot maybe at McDonald's read more

I picked Red Lobster because I wanted to splurge on my birthday dinner. It turned out to be such a disappointment. Food was just terrible. The snow crab legs had zero taste - shockingly bland, even when I dipped it in butter. Live lobster was tough - I couldn't eat it and the claw meat I had to spit out - it tasted mealy. The Brussels sprouts were oily & over salted. The baked potato wasn't cooked all the way & the lobster sauce amount was pitiful & watery. This was supposed to be a birthday meal splurge. I spent over $100 on this meal with my son and had the worst meal in a long time. The only good thing was the chocolate cake. I'm so upset and disappointed. read more

No. Just no. I took my mother here a couple of weeks ago because she kept talking about wanting some crab cakes, so I figured if anyone would do them well, it would be a seafood restaurant, right? Again, no. She ordered some combination plate with crab cakes, stuffed shrimp, and something else (maybe shrimp scampi?? can't remember) and, after taking 40 minutes to get our food out in the first place, she received crab legs instead of stuffed shrimp so we had to send that back (not worth it, by the way). Additionally, the crab cakes were mostly breading and not good. I, not caring much for seafood, ordered the pork chop with apple compote. Unfortunately, the chef forgot the apple compote, so I was left with a dry, strangely spicy pork chop and some chokingly spicy broccoli on the side. Yum. The biscuits were good, though, and so was the caesar salad. Not good enough to go back, unfortunately. read more

We used to come here a lot , then they changed. Food quality and service went to hell.... So we tried again hoping things might have changed. The food tasted good but the portions have really shrunk. Sorry but it is what it is... read more

We got there and the parking lot was full. We knew going into it that we would have to wait. We were quoted 35 minutes at check in. In reality it took only 20! Great job on that part. The Hostess station was over crowed with waiters (at times I counted 7). The manager was less then useful to the team, since she just ran around the restaurant not doing much of anything. Her radio didn't have a ear piece so we got to hear ALL the chatter on the radio. Now to the food. It was great, fast and done just right. Our waiter was Cassie. Awesome guy!!! Knows his stuff and took care of everyone on the spot. Over all a good dinner, just the manager needs to do her part. read more
