Me - the Rebel Chef - of course needed to taste-test this new found, exotic, out-of-state and 'midwest' bag of bean grinds.. and I found the coffee ultimately very delicious and succulent. Brewing filtered water, to a very hot degree and then pouring the water over 'Westrock Coffee Co.' grounds brought out very, very delightful nutty, caramel-hued brew with almondy, grassy, banana-ish notes of coffee beans.. The next morning I asked around, and found out that the Westrock brand was a local one, familiar to many in North Little Rock! Some shops and grocers actually sold the brand from their shelves and I ended up buying some of it, to take home - and it was even better upon brewing it in my own kitchen.. Westrock Coffee Co. makes very tasteful, thinly-ground and very potent coffee grounds, that I highly recommend to folks; if you are tired of the same old mundane Dunkin' Donuts, gas station brew or otherwise.
