We drove all the way from Little Rock to Hot Springs to celebrate my birthday, and I wanted to start my day by coming here for coffee. I understand it's busy. The line was long, but we stood in it like everyone else, waited our turn, and were about to spend $51 on coffee and breakfast for our family. Unfortunately, the gentleman taking orders (mustache and piercing in between the eyes) acted as though we were the greatest inconvenience in the world. As we were deciding what everyone wanted and placing our order, he was visibly irritated, sighing and looking like he was holding back an eye roll whenever we spoke to him. I initially wondered if I was reading too much into his demeanor, but as soon as we walked away, both my husband and my 12-year-old independently commented on his attitude and how uncomfortable the interaction was. When even a 12-year-old notices how annoyed an employee seems to be by customers simply ordering, there's a problem. I don't expect someone working a busy counter to be bubbly or put on a performance for me. But basic friendliness--or at minimum, not making customers feel like a burden for ordering--is a pretty reasonable expectation. If someone dislikes interacting with customers that much, having him be the person taking orders seems like an odd choice. Even worse, the coffee I had specifically been looking forward to wasn't nearly as good as it was the last time we visited. This time it tasted noticeably less rich and almost watered down. My husband did enjoy his matcha, but between the quality of my drink, spending $51 on our order, and being made to feel like an inconvenience simply for placing it, the entire experience was incredibly disappointing--especially as the start of my birthday. We came in genuinely excited to return because we'd had such a good experience here before. It's drive thru only but absolutely worth the short trip from Hot Springs National Park. The owner is super friendly and remembered us when we returned a second time to get a latte on our drive home. Their original latte is so good on its own, with a perfect amount of sweetness and just a super smooth coffee. She makes the syrups herself and I also tried a pistachio biscotti latte my first time around and enjoyed the flavor, though it ended up being slightly too sweet for my personal tastes. We also picked up a muffin each time we visited and the owner bakes a solid muffin. They were super moist and flavorful and had a great crumb. While I'm sad this isn't local to me, it gives me a great spot to look forward to returning to!

Most of their offerings are lattes, cappuccinos, frappes. But they do have pour overs in which they use Mountain Bird coffee out of Holiday Island, AR. I ordered an Ethiopian pour over. Not an amazing cup of coffee, but it works and is better than straight up drip. Customer service is friendly, accommodating, and helpful. They seem understaffed, but the employees are working hard and are doing it with a smile. The only reason for the 4-star and not a 5-star is because I think the place is just too eclectic for me, extremely mismatched. I don't feel relaxed. Too busy, a little uneasy, not cozy to me. Starbucks - Albert Pike (Hot Springs)…read more I loved the location and the back of the building is shielded by large trees. Opened May 2021. I've been here few times, but never had longer time to spend here, prior to this visit. I'm glad I was able to stay longer, get my work done and observe my surroundings. ATMOSPHERE: I liked their furniture layout. It made it feel like a cozy coffee shop. You will find throughout light or dark brown leather furniture to match the coffee beans natural colors. The wall color schemes reminded me of a coffee farm. It was inviting and bright LED lights throughout. In the daytime the natural sunlight makes the interior bright. They do have window shades, should you need to use them. When you first walk in, to the left of the entrance is where most of your seating will be. The focal room has a large brown leather bench seating, with two tables, chairs and outlets beneath to charge your portable devices. Next to the bench there are three additional tables with six leather brown chairs. Alongside the large windows you have four tables with eight chairs. To the right of the entrance you will find merchandise shelves. The order counter and Pick-Up counter stayed clean. Baristas did a great job keeping these areas clean. BARISTAS: Baristas did a good job here. They were attentive to each guest and I did not hear many customers complain about their drink orders. Hats off to the staff that works here and it's noticeable they are constantly learning and open minded to accommodate each customer. A few times I walked up to the order counter to ask for a complimentary refill of hot coffee or tea, each time they were happy to assist and said, "We'll bring your drink to your table." It's a small gesture that speaks volume when a barista can bring your order to your table. RESTROOMS: Restrooms stayed clean. This location has a 3-in-1 faucet sink system that dispenses water, soap and hand dryer. Most of the Arkansas locations I've been to, Starbucks has these. I get that it might be "Good for the environment." But, it is counterintuitive when the dryer barely blows any air and you have to dry your hands multiple times since hardly any air is coming from the hand dryer. Many of these locations also don't have paper towels, making it double counterintuitive. After you've washed your hands, you now have to go open the door handle. Most people know that not everyone will wash their hands after using the restroom, so, you literally just washed your hands, to get them dirty again. WIFI & MUSIC: WiFi worked good without any interruption. Music was good too. It stayed quite enough to hear and get worked done or talk to others. PATIO: Patio is small but it's nice because depending on where you sit, or face your chair(s), you get to look at the tall trees that make you feel like you're in nature. Patio offers seven tables with fourteen chairs. If the sun gets too bright for you, they have couple of patio umbrellas to shield you. OVERALL: I liked the location, atmosphere and the baristas. I would recommend this place and next time I'm in Hot Springs, I'm looking forward to returning here.

I visited this location on my trip to hot springs to get a 'ben there' mug from their collection…read more You could tell this store was recently renovated, its parking lot and drive thru were also recently paved and remodel. Its conveniently located at the corner so there is easy access and visibility from the road. I was able to find my mug and purchase it without an issue. I do wanna point out the amazing staff working behind the counter. I just brought up a conversation about what their favorite thing to do in the city was and we had an amazing conversation. They were not busy when I went so it was easy to speak with them about things to do in the city. They really are a wonderful set up of people.
