Stop one on our food tour. We were served alligator sausage gumbo and our drink was a Hurricane. Both were yummy but I didn't eat the sausage so I still do not know what alligator tastes like and I am good with that lol. Cute decor. The private room we were in displayed the floats and pins they got for participating in the parades. The service was quick and efficient and we had a decent sized group. I look forward to returning and exploring the menu.

Went to Redfish Grill with my TimeLeft group and it was a good dinner. We had a great table near the window facing Bourbon Street. I had the buffalo blue cheese oyster poboy and it was ok. For the price there was actually a half poboy and the potato salad side was just meh. My drink from the bar was ok and the service was great. Next time I will try their signature grilled redfish dish.

I took my order to go. The redfish and Brussel sprouts were rolling. I can't say what the ambiance, nor the service is like because I didn't go inside. My assistant picked it up for me.

I visited Red Fish Grill for a work event and had a blast here! Our group was promptly seated in a private dining area. The servers did an incredible job serving a group of our size with efficiency and care. I was very impressed by how all orders were taken and delivered promptly. For my main dish, I decided to go with the classic- Wood Grilled Redfish with Crabmeat. This dish was absolutely delicious! The redfish was cooked to perfection and the sauce, potatoes, and crabmeat just elevated it. I loved every bite. For desert, I went with the Lemon Doberge Cake. I don't gravitate towards lemon flavors but I decided to take a risk with this one. I'm so glad that I did! I have never had such a delectable lemon cake before! The outside was deliciously sweet which complimented the tart inside so well. I would get this again. Overall, Red Fish Grill gets 5 stars and I highly recommend for big groups!

Red Fish Grill was so incredible, we visited twice on our long weekend in NOLA! We had the most incredible service on both visits...delicious recommendations and of course, fabulous food! The fried green tomatoes were amazing, the boudin balls were incredible, the red beans and rice were out of this world, and the gulf fish entree was so good!! Don't miss the double chocolate bread pudding!

Red Fish Grill is a must visit when you go to New Orleans! It embraces all of the traditional New Orleans flavors, adds fun twists to everything, and serves a high quality, gourmet meal & experience! The ambiance is lovely & the service is absolutely phenomenal. Every dish tastes incredibly fresh & is executed perfectly! The bbq oysters are so unique & a must try! Fitting with their name, the red fish, is delectable & finishing your meal with their double chocolate bread pudding is the cherry on top to a wonderful experience and meal!

We had lunch here was very good. The skillet cornbread is lethal! I could've eaten the entire thing. Bbq oysters and gumbo was delicious! Service very good and pleasant too. We were staying at the centric hotel which we enjoyed as well. Definitely recommend.

I hate leaving negative reviews, but our experience at Red Fish Grill was disappointing from start to finish. When we arrived, we were informed that several drink selections were unavailable. While that can happen, it was only the beginning of a series of issues throughout the evening. Our appetizers were brought out at the same time as our entrées, which defeated the purpose of ordering appetizers in the first place. My mother's steak was not cooked to her liking, and although multiple servers and managers stopped by our table to check on us, the service felt disorganized. At one point, my mother ordered a drink through a manager, only to find out later that the order had never been placed. The most frustrating part of the evening involved my father's birthday. Our waiter repeatedly mentioned that he had something special for him and asked if we wanted dessert. We politely declined. Despite that, he later brought out a small cup of ice cream with an extremely tough cone and no spoons. We eventually discovered that we had actually been charged for the ice cream, even though we never ordered it. To top everything off, we noticed a large roach climbing up the wall just inches away from my mother's and fiancée's food. At that point, any remaining confidence we had in the restaurant was gone. It's unfortunate because we were looking forward to the experience, but between the poor service, billing issues, food concerns, and cleanliness problem, we will not be returning.

Vibes seemed to give higher end restaurant but service didn't match the decor or pricing. Portions were small given the price tag and not super worth the visit. My husband got the redfish special fish entree and it was overcooked. Hanger steak was flavorful but heavily charred on the outside so some of the flavor was lost.

The service was wonderful. I was part of a large group and the staff did a great job caring for us. The gumbo is some of the best I've had! A lovely dark and rich roux. The bbq shrimp was disappointing. Shell on shrimp were very messy to peel covered in sauce and the dish was very oily. The bourbon pecan pie was incredible and their Sazerac is now in my top 3. I would return but order a different entree next time.

As many times as I've been to this place, I've yet to write a review. So now it's time. I tend to come here whenever I'm in town and specifically for the BBQ oysters. You can find raw oysters anywhere and chargrilled oysters too but bbq oysters?! Yeah that's rare. And if you're a fan of Bleu cheese, you'll love em even more. To me, it's less bbq and more Buffalo but they're fried oysters drizzled in the buffalo sauce and topped with crumbles of blue cheese. On my most recent visit, the oysters came out a little too quick for me; like less than 5 minutes. I kid you not. I immediately felt like they were for someone else or someone didn't want them. Like, they just weren't hot off of the platter so that's why I took off a Star. If you have room for dessert, I'd highly recommend getting the bread pudding. It's white and dark chocolate; super rich and divine. And there's no raisins which is a major win. It's never busy and service is decent. I ordered a blueberry mojito for a cocktail. Pretty good. The bartender was very generous as well. He let me try an espresso shooter. I would definitely order that.

Shoutout to our server, Jackie, who provided outstanding customer service. She was super friendly, attentive, and took her time w us not just to serve us but to get to know us. You can tell the staff genuinely cares about making sure every guest has a great experience. The seafood was great and knowing it was locally caught made it even better. The buttery sauce was rich and packed with flavorful spices that complemented the seafood without overpowering it. Every bite was delicious. Definitely get medium/hot and hot butter on top. And don't forget the bread either! It's freaking delish!!! One of the highlights of our visit was meeting the owner, Kong. He came to our table and shared the fascinating history of the famous Po-Boy sandwich. Very down to earth, welcoming, and passionate about New Orleans food culture, which made the experience even more memorable. If you appreciate amazing food, genuine hospitality, and making new friends definitely well worth venturing beyond the French Quarter for a meal you'll be talking about long after you leave.

The food overall was outstanding, and it was a great spot to take out-of-town guests. To kick things off, we started with a dozen of their legendary Charbroiled Oysters. To be completely honest, we were a little disappointed with them this time. Normally, Drago's oysters are swimming in that famous, rich garlic-butter sauce, but this batch was not as juicy and lacked that extra sauce we are used to getting. They weren't completely dry, but definitely missing that signature butteriness. On the bright side, the rest of the meal was flawless! My sister-in-law ordered a bottle of Kendall-Jackson Vintner's Reserve Chardonnay for her, her friend, and me to share, which was beautifully chilled and paired perfectly with everything. For entrees, my husband and I both ordered the Boneless Beef Short Rib. It was incredibly tender--true melt-in-your-mouth perfection--served over creamy mashed potatoes with rich gravy and topped with fresh sautéed spinach. My sister-in-law got the Seafood Pasta, which was completely decadent with a rich cream sauce over angel hair and a very generous mound of sweet lump crabmeat right on top. Her friend ordered Mama Ruth's Seafood Gumbo and loved that authentic, deep New Orleans dark roux flavor. Our daughter went with the Filet Mignon, which was cooked perfectly and came with a massive plate of hot, crispy French fries that the whole table ended up happily snacking on. Despite the oysters being a bit of a letdown, the entrees, wine, and atmosphere made for a memorable night with family. We will definitely give them another try!
