The service was wonderful. I was part of a large group and the staff did a great job caring for us. The gumbo is some of the best I've had! A lovely dark and rich roux. The bbq shrimp was disappointing. Shell on shrimp were very messy to peel covered in sauce and the dish was very oily. The bourbon pecan pie was incredible and their Sazerac is now in my top 3. I would return but order a different entree next time.

I took my order to go. The redfish and Brussel sprouts were rolling. I can't say what the ambiance, nor the service is like because I didn't go inside. My assistant picked it up for me.

I visited Red Fish Grill for a work event and had a blast here! Our group was promptly seated in a private dining area. The servers did an incredible job serving a group of our size with efficiency and care. I was very impressed by how all orders were taken and delivered promptly. For my main dish, I decided to go with the classic- Wood Grilled Redfish with Crabmeat. This dish was absolutely delicious! The redfish was cooked to perfection and the sauce, potatoes, and crabmeat just elevated it. I loved every bite. For desert, I went with the Lemon Doberge Cake. I don't gravitate towards lemon flavors but I decided to take a risk with this one. I'm so glad that I did! I have never had such a delectable lemon cake before! The outside was deliciously sweet which complimented the tart inside so well. I would get this again. Overall, Red Fish Grill gets 5 stars and I highly recommend for big groups!

We had lunch here was very good. The skillet cornbread is lethal! I could've eaten the entire thing. Bbq oysters and gumbo was delicious! Service very good and pleasant too. We were staying at the centric hotel which we enjoyed as well. Definitely recommend.

Red Fish Grill, Party of seven shared the fresh, briny Gulf oysters prepared almost every way on the menu they had were perfectly shucked and flavorful--standout starter for our meal. All entrees ordered were also well prepared and delicious. I ordered the Oyster PoBoy, but was hesitant with the combination of oysters and blue cheese, but surprisingly it works very well together. The attentive, knowledgeable service enhanced the meal even more. Solid spot for classic New Orleans seafood.

As many times as I've been to this place, I've yet to write a review. So now it's time. I tend to come here whenever I'm in town and specifically for the BBQ oysters. You can find raw oysters anywhere and chargrilled oysters too but bbq oysters?! Yeah that's rare. And if you're a fan of Bleu cheese, you'll love em even more. To me, it's less bbq and more Buffalo but they're fried oysters drizzled in the buffalo sauce and topped with crumbles of blue cheese. On my most recent visit, the oysters came out a little too quick for me; like less than 5 minutes. I kid you not. I immediately felt like they were for someone else or someone didn't want them. Like, they just weren't hot off of the platter so that's why I took off a Star. If you have room for dessert, I'd highly recommend getting the bread pudding. It's white and dark chocolate; super rich and divine. And there's no raisins which is a major win. It's never busy and service is decent. I ordered a blueberry mojito for a cocktail. Pretty good. The bartender was very generous as well. He let me try an espresso shooter. I would definitely order that.

Red Fish Grill was so incredible, we visited twice on our long weekend in NOLA! We had the most incredible service on both visits...delicious recommendations and of course, fabulous food! The fried green tomatoes were amazing, the boudin balls were incredible, the red beans and rice were out of this world, and the gulf fish entree was so good!! Don't miss the double chocolate bread pudding!

Red Fish Grill is a must visit when you go to New Orleans! It embraces all of the traditional New Orleans flavors, adds fun twists to everything, and serves a high quality, gourmet meal & experience! The ambiance is lovely & the service is absolutely phenomenal. Every dish tastes incredibly fresh & is executed perfectly! The bbq oysters are so unique & a must try! Fitting with their name, the red fish, is delectable & finishing your meal with their double chocolate bread pudding is the cherry on top to a wonderful experience and meal!

Vibes seemed to give higher end restaurant but service didn't match the decor or pricing. Portions were small given the price tag and not super worth the visit. My husband got the redfish special fish entree and it was overcooked. Hanger steak was flavorful but heavily charred on the outside so some of the flavor was lost.

Great food for reasonable price. Much better value than Mister B's. Enjoyed sitting in the back room behind the bar. Raw oysters were pristine and delicious! Reasonable markup on a nice bottle of wine. Highly recommend!

one word: wow!!! i haven't even left the restaurant yet and i feel compelled to leave a review. this place was SO good! i started with a blueberry mojito which was refreshing. for appetizers we got the cornbread and BBQ oysters, both of which were amazing! the cornbread has some peppers in it which made it so unique and delicious. for dinner i got the blackened redfish which is some of the best fish i've ever had!!!! the fried green tomatoes were off the chain. our server, frank, was amazing. truly can't say enough good things about this place!!!

This place has got one of the best po boy sandwiches! The bread is incredible and the remoulade mixed with the pickles add to the delicious flavors. The service was fast and friendly. The prices were very affordable and reasonable. The bbq fried oysters are definitely a must as well.

But I was welcomed in to the bar with one open seat. The staff was very welcoming with a bit of sarcasm, which is probably something that I look forward to everywhere. I asked for recommendations, having looked at the menu and they handed me another special menu of the day stating obviously I hadn't read the whole thing yet. I started with the snapper appetizer and I have Tse with the coconut lime broth. It was absolutely delicious, followed by the crawfish capellini. I was surprised by the amount of crawfish in the dish and the chili flavor, which was absolutely delicious. I have been hearing about the hush puppies for a while so I had to try some, especially because my colleague raved about it at dinner the night before. Lastly, I had the baked drum which was delicious light and flaky. The flavors were incredible. I personally thought that the bread was a little overly grilled and chard, but overall the dishes still pretty good. I cannot say more about the dessert. It's absolutely one of the best desserts I've had in a long time. The sticky carrot cake toffee cake with cream cheese ice cream was just on the next level. I would try to come here if I was in the area every time.
