He's got that middle aged Bay Area Filipino humor and he's very thorough and clear on what to do and how to drive. The lessons were comprehensive but not overwhelming. I think the best highlight of his lessons were the places we went. He and I drove from SF to San Mateo and back, and there was always a way to cram in practice on subjects like knowing what to do at an area with few stop signs or driving on the freeway. A very honest recommendation for people that want to learn driving.

We wanted to continue and asked about other options. They offered a semi-private option, but they then tried to up-charge us more money to continue and nickeling and diming us the entire interaction. We had wanted to stay, but they clearly did not value our business when they made little attempt at retaining us or offering other alternatives. Seems like they just wanted to give us the refund to get us out of their hair and Instead they took that as an opportunity to try to get more money out of us. Kiddo loved the classes, but service and accountability was not there, super disappointing.

I told him we might be moving, she might need to do remote again. He's willing to work with us on that should we need it. If you can't make a lesson, just give them 24 hours notice, then you won't be charged. My husband and I don't code, we don't help my daughter out. Sometimes she would get a little homework, because I ask for it. Overall you get your money's worth and everyone there is super nice too. The place is clean too.

Since December 2025, they have canceled 10 of his classes. For young kids, inconsistent instruction isn't just inconvenient -- it causes them to lose momentum and regress, because swimming requires routine, repetition, and confidence-building week after week. Not to mention, we plan our day expecting this class to happen and week in and week out we get a cancelation notice on the same day, completely messing up our schedule. It's completely unacceptable to run a swim school with this level of inconsistency and no real accountability or effort to make it right. Families aren't paying for "weekly" lessons that get canceled constantly.
