Many units have been broken into, doors damaged, trash and abandoned units left open with garbage, broken glass, etc. The front gate has been broken FOR MONTHS. now that the gate is finally repaired, it may or may not accept your code. they are VERY quick to accept your payment...even quicker to ignore your request for help. your stuff is not secure and your frustration level will be high. read more

Paid for a year up front in September, received an email December 1 stating we had been successfully moved out of our unit. When contacting Red Dot, you are only allowed to speak to a secretary, they refuse to escalate to management and state they have no contact information to set up a call or meeting with their specific facility managers. The secretaries only resolution was to utilize the insurance we had purchased on the unit to recover what was lost out of the unit. The secretary refused to provide a refund for the remaining 10 months that we had paid for the unit. read more

Do yourself a favor and don't store any of your belongings here. I paid for this "climate controlled facility" for 3 years while I was living overseas...when I returned home my property had been ruined by water damage through an apparent crack in the ground. I met with the property manager Dave and just so happened to have my meeting when another tenant was in the facility who confirmed that this past summer during heavy rains that there was STANDING WATER in the facility. I went through a very long insurance claims process through my renters insurance company that had been recommended by Red Dot (Great American Insurance) just for them to determine that they weren't liable for *that specific type of water damage*. They only cover rain water and not ground water. When I got ahold of Red Dot asking what to do next they said they weren't liable either...but both companies that were taking my money for 3 years wanted me to know that they still cared very much. Apparently just not enough to do the right thing and fix the situation or offer ANY type of compensation whatsoever for my damaged property. Save your money and don't ever do business with these people. You're just another number for them and another customer to scam out of money. Whatever happened to honest and respectable business practices? What a joke. read more
