Red Cup Coffee is a staple for Puerto Ricans as is Starbucks or DD is for us on the mainland. Red cup kiosks are all over Puerto Rico and usually has a line of locals waiting for there fix...
Red Cup is hard to miss,, just look for the giant red cup logo which is sometimes just the size of a tiny kiosk you see at a mall, but dont get discouraged, although small, these tiny kiosk produce some giant flavors..
They seem to specialize in the Frappes which are as delicious as they look in the pictures.. Not into frapes.. dont worry they offer regular lattes and ofcourse the local favorites such as pocillo or expresso as well as cortaditos and cafe con leche. What I really liked about red cup is that they use Cafe Yaucono which is a local coffee bean company that has been around 115 years..thought that was very cool.
Other items offered are shaved ice and Ice cream,, yes this little kiosk does it all but coffee is there speciality.. If you are non-local and see these Red cups around, dont be scared or discouraged give it a shot you wont be dissapointed. read more
