Yelpers check in for a free tasty cookie when ordering an entree! Note that while this is a great place to gather with friends, it is not a WiFi spot for working. Either tether your own signal and hot spot, or don't expect to work online here. There are a variety of seating options and some private rooms for a meeting or gathering. Parking is a bit tricky directly in front, but there is additional parking on the other side of the sports supply store that is labeled for Gustos coffee. The lunch options are legit and tasty! I had a Torta w/ Hummus and Veggies plus a dash of feta- very healthy but also filling. I didn't try coffee on this visit, but rather an iced tea which was slow brewed by the cup then poured over ice. Come in and expect to stay, consider this slow and intentional service rather than grab and go service.

This is a great local coffee shop and the ambiance is super cozy, great if you work from home. The staff is super knowledgeable and friendly. I ordered a latte which was super delicious and the gustos toast. The toast had eggs with mushrooms, tomatoes, feta cheese and greens. The toast was super fresh and delicious. I will definitely be back.

La visita y experiencia es otra cosa durante la semana para que lo puedas entender tiene que venir a consumir. No traigas efectivo por que solo aceptan tarjetas.

Great place, if you have the chance to buy some coffee to go, it is amazing to have at home! my favorite coffee by far.

This is a standard coffee chain in PR. I got an iced mocha light on the mocha. It's a little on the expensive side but it was good.

    Menu Item: Mocha (8 ounce)

Five stars for their mocha. Specifically, the 8 ounce size. Ordered a 12 ounce once and it wasn't as good. But the mocha and all the coffee drinks here are very good. The food on the other hand is fine. But it doesn't elevate the café's appeal. Parking can be tight on the busy days but usually can be found in front. Service is fantastic. The baristas and staff are all friendly, professional, and competent. The decor is a mix of café and industrial style. This place has the best mocha I've had in PR. Very close in quality to one or two other places I've been. But Gustos is consistent in their coffee products and we always have great service as well. We've also been to another of their establishments and they remain consistent between locations as well. If the food here was better, this review would have five stars.

In the middle of nowhere but a really nice place. Reminds me of a New York vibe. And the coffee was excellent!

Interior decoration is very nicely done with rustic and industrial look Latte made with Yauco coffee beans was great. Grabbed small bags of coffee beans from Yauco and Maricao regions. Looking forward to drinking them at home!

This is the real deal PR coffee! This is not only a great cafe but also the coffee factory. They have a "lab" where the beans are tested. They only use the best Great coffee, great food and atmosphere. Love the decorations, attention to details and very friendly staff. It's a little hard to find in the industrial park. If you can't find it just stop and ask.

    Amazing coffee.

Love their coffee but why is it so hard to have skim milk available. Ended up buying Starbucks instead of supporting local businesses.

Grabbed an iced latte and an iced tea to go: the latte was smooth and well-balanced, not over-roasted like a lot of tourist-zone coffee shops nearby, and the iced tea was refreshing after walking the cobblestone streets. The menu keeps it simple -- espresso drinks, paninis (Cuatro Sombras, Yauco, Viejo San Juan), open toast with avocado & egg or salmon, and a solid breakfast lineup with guava butter toast and dulce de papaya oatmeal that lean into the Puerto Rican flavor profile. Loved seeing local sodas and juices in the fridge case alongside the usual water and La Croix. Staff moved efficiently even with a small crowd at the counter. Good spot to duck into for a quality coffee break in Old San Juan -- feels like a real local roaster rather than a chain, and the space itself is worth a look even if you're just passing through.

My sister and I got the same sandwich, Cuatro Sombras Panini and it was delicious! A bit heavy on the garlic aioli but it gave it a lot of flavor I got and iced caramel latte, I like when I can taste the coffee more than the flavoring and it was a perfect balance. My sister got their iced mocha. She likes her coffee sweeter than I do but she still really liked her drink too. The reason I'm giving this place 4 stars is because all the tables were a bit dirty. It wasn't busy when we first walked in but we still had to wipe down our own table

If you're on Calle San Francisco and the Coach store is to your right, keep walking till you see a yellow chemex sign on your left - that is the entrance to the coffee shop. Once you enter, it's a very tight space at the register and the alley is in the back with a few tables. The only menu I was able to peruse was that on their iPad which was annoying because I felt like I was holding up the line. I ended up ordering a small iced latte. I initially ordered it to enjoy in their alley, so I was told I can pay when I leave. I was there mid September and as much as I wanted to enjoy sipping my latte in the alley, it was super hot and stuffy. They could use some fans. Plus, it was taking forever to have the latte brought to me. As such, I went to the front to let the staff know I'll take it to go only to find him giggling with some friends. I guess that's why it took forever for me to get my drink. The latte itself wasn't bad, but considering the cost and the useless wait time, I would've gladly passed on this coffee shop.

We were welcomed inside where we ordered with an iPad. There were several options for drinks and pastries. The service was incredible; the barista helped us choose drinks and recommended us her favorite pastries. We were then escorted to the beautiful patio in the back, which is completely hidden from view on the street. The drinks were delivered to us in glass cups, and the pastries delivered covered by glass dome lids. The drinks and pastries were all 10/10. I am usually not a an iced coffee drinker, but I savored every sip of my drink. The mango pie and pecan tart were also delicious. Overall, I highly recommend Filtrado as a relaxing stop in Viejo San Juan. The service, drink, and ambiance were spectacular and I can confidently say that this is near the top of my cafe list!

They have a parking lot for about 5-6 cars. When we walked in, I noticed the art around the walls, and read some of the quotes. The menu has a variety of items, mostly your typical mainland American breakfast like parfaits, oatmeal, waffles/pancakes, eggs, bacon, toast, avocado toast, omelettes, sandwiches, and other things. It appears they also have some lunch items. I mostly wanted a drink, and was instantly drawn to the matcha latte. I think the iced one only comes in the 12oz cup because after ordering I realized I did not specify the size and I got the bigger one. It is $1.50 more for whipped cream which is a bit steep, but it was good and also a lot of it. The color (green) was a bit lighter than what I am used to, but that allowed for it to be creamier. I am not sure if they use real matcha or a syrup that it matcha flavor but the matcha was very subtle. Nonetheless, it was very good, especially after mixing in the whipped cream. The service was really good and quick, and our waitress was very kind. They speak both English and Spanish. The burger patty lacked flavor and there was no sauce or any accompaniments besides a very sad, wilted, thin slice of tomato and lettuce leaf. Pretty bad burger! The chicken sandwich was so heavily fried, we almost broke our teeth against the chicken. Insanely salty--we couldn't take more than a few bites. Felt so parched for the rest of the day.
