Chicken burrito in bowl. I wish it was bigger.
Mari E.

I had chicken burrito in bowl. Chicken was over cooked and some edges were really hard like meat in microwave oven. I expected it will be very dry texture but found very fatty flavor left in my mouth later. Like I just had a slice of duck. Still don't know where it came from. We could choose Mexican rice or brown rice. Because of my diet, I chose brown one but next time I'd like to try Mexican rice.

Quick service and reasonable prices. I thoroughly enjoyed my tamale which was stuffed full of beef. I didn't care much for the Mexican rice which was bland. Oh well.

Ordered from Doordash from this establishment, and Red Burrito messed up my order so bad.. spent 50 dollars on 4 meals and got like 20 dollars worth of food.. ordered tacos and got beans & rice in a bowl.. shitty enchilada for my wife and soup for a employee.. don't know what kind of soup.. not what I ordered .. my burrito bowl looks like a salad.. on top of that the delivery guy got lost and called me 4 times for directions.. WTF.. very disappointed at this restaurant.. tried calling about half a dozen time and no answer.. shitty customer services..never will I order from them again.. shitty food , over price food scraps and shitty customer service. Screw you Red burrito. You don't deserve a star

Tough yelpers, probably the best value eatery along the Drive, without any being pretentious. Think this is the original location. For under $8, you can get big, fat serving chicken burrito, probably not as hip as Chiptotle but got a few more bucks in your pocket too. typical add your own toppings. I take this over Subway any day. Great corner location at this crazy intersection right on Commercial/1st. Still think their Davie and Robson has more ambience. Good bar seating at front for window action walking by ;) Extra star b/c they delivery/cater. typical dreaded parking here but there's a side street by Waves Coffee that has 1 hour free.

Always busy, this food on the go Mexican restaurant serves huge foil wrapped burritos and fajitas that look like enormous bullets to be shot down your throat with as much cilantro as you want. The food is made in front of the customer, so eaters can line up against the sneeze guard and specify their preference of toppings and degree of spiciness. Servings are hard to finish, in that they are so large you may want to pay the extra 50 cents for another tortilla to wrap around the first tortilla.

Worth what you pay for. Can realistically split a burrito between two people.

The vegetarian burrito is a stand-by for me when I'm running late and not prepared to eat at home. It's good, affordable, and does the job.

Cheap, delicious and fairly healthy to boot. Great for lunch or dinner on the go.

Sat us down, took our orders and brought us our food then quickly brought the bill so they could change tables over. The Margarita here was excellent. Definitely felt like a strong boozey drink. Well done! Tried their Chilaquiles - not sure what I was expecting but this was more nachos than anything else. Definitely not the best in the city either. Maiz De Cole - strangely the best option that I selected. The chilli, lamb, cilantro just went so well. Great light option if you need one. Definitely not better than a good Mexican street corn though. Birria Taco - wanted to like this but didn't leave much to be desired. Large portions of protein Ordered the extra Birria as my date also wanted this. Looking back, should have stuck with the single order. It was way too much birria protein which after a few bites became overly dry and lacked flavour. Carnitas Tacos - come in a order of 2. Better option for smaller appetites. Overall, felt a bit steep in price. Their website online doesn't even post prices yet.

Our server was attentive and around when we needed something but never interrupting, and his recommendations ended up being some of our favourite dishes. The anchovy olives were a standout, super crispy, packed with flavour, and not overly fishy at all (great if you're a bit hesitant about anchovies). The mushroom toast was rich, savoury, and full of umami. Just a heads up not to let it sit too long since it softens the bread. The tuna tartare was fresh and well-balanced. Not my personal favourite served on toast, but still really enjoyable overall. The paella was excellent, perfectly cooked shrimp, tclams, and crispy pork belly chicharrón that added the best salty, fatty crunch. The roasted cabbage completely surprised me and was easily one of the best veggie dishes I've had in a while. I could have eaten a whole plate of it. We wrapped things up with churros and shared a pitcher of sangria. For three people, it came out to about $68 each before tip, which felt very fair for how much we ordered. Would definitely recommend.

As well, the manchego was so tiny it was like a shaving . The bone marrow amounted to about three teaspoons of marrow. We were so sad and dissatisfied. The patatas bravas was okay. Unfortunately we do not have a reason to return.
