It is located approximately a mile to the East of MI-127, down a gravel road, then a dirt road. It is truly secluded, with a beautiful view of the surrounding farmland. Upon arriving, we were greeted by the lovely couple who own and run the B&B. They were extremely kind and helpful. The home is beautiful, and the amenities are excellent. Hot water for showers, very clean rooms, comfortable beds, A/C, and several spots to sit and relax. Each morning, a breakfast is provided. It is outstanding. Very hearty, and beautifully plated. We thoroughly enjoyed our experience, and recommend this spot for visitors to the town, or those looking to get away.

This is definitely NOT a bored housewife weekend warrior type of B&B who has filled this place with a mismatch of unfitting antiques and Pier One chotchke. Having had to travel for a good part of my career I have stayed in many B& B's. This place will stay in my top 10 for sure and definitely hope to make the pilgrimage at least once a year. The hostess and her husband are amazing people and in the conversations had you can tell they are very genuine and have a love for the place. I can only hope that their children take up the same affection and continue on. It would be a definite loss for Jonesville and anyone who is not experienced it.

The hotel is in a pleasant and charming neighborhood in close proximity to Hillsdale College and downtown. The grounds are well kept and welcoming. Check in was a breeze and our room was perfect. Some of the rooms do share common bathrooms, but this was expected and fine with us. Back in the day most of Europe was like this and we were used to it. The common areas were clean and cozy, other guests were fun to chat with and the "guest Haas" feeling was welcoming. The continental breakfasts were light and fresh, more than adequate. Overall a wonderful stay at a reasonably priced Inn, the service was way above any place we have stayed in years.

The inn was beautifully and thoughtfully restored by Katie who owns and runs the inn and has a degree in architecture. Katie is wonderful host and cook. She met us on our late arrival (winter storm). Katie was exceptionally thoughtful and accommodating. We had wonderful homemade baked bread and overnight oats for our first breakfast. She built a fire and hosted our in-laws for tea the next morning. The rooms are very comfortable and up to date. We will absolutely stay here again when we return to Maumee. Thank you Katie!

Diane and Steve made us feel so welcome. Diane even gave us a tour of the entire inn and shared its history. We were absolutely amazed at the quality of the breakfasts. Everything is made from scratch and is absolutely delicious. Diane shared that she is a Le Cordon Bleu trained chef and taught culinary arts for years. It is truly evident in these one-of-a-kind breakfasts. We felt quite spoiled during our stay!

Sons of American Revolution Conference site…read more We have greatly enjoyed National Conferences in US from Boston to San Francisco, and it is a joy to attend the Sons of American Revolution Conference at Sauder's Village in Archbold. Always something about hotel lobbies, fireplaces, and good friends that is satisfying. The Friday night buffet is BBQ, and following a week of Great Smokies's dining, we were eager to enjoy "German style" meals. Brisket was better than southern; pulled pork had no flavor; ribs were burned; great salad bar; very few veggies. Rustic-style hotel located within the Sauder Village complex, featuring an indoor pool with a waterfall, complimentary hot breakfast, and charming timber-frame architecture. Hotel is on par with nice Ohio State Park property. Our room was a suite - large inclusive living room with Great Bed. Also a special sun room is attached. Great services and service folks. Caveat: avoid rooms in pool area; we like children, but even one high pitched voice fills an area. Highly recommend.

I wasn't used to the bed, but I was able to get some sleep. The bathroom was stocked with shampoo and conditioner. They do have soap and lotion as well. There is no coffee machine in the room, but free coffee can be found in the kitchen area by the big tree. The Inn provides free breakfast. They had food items such as bagels, waffles, muffins, fruit, cereal, and more. I don't usually like breakfast at hotels so I did not each much. Additionally, there is a pool area with a hot tub. They also have a game room. I didn't get a chance to go to the game room. They do have rooms you can rent for events. We saw a crafting event and a wedding while we were here. Overall, this is an awesome Inn and I enjoyed my time. I would like to revisit with my family.
