We loved the creek . The Kids can fish there without buying a license . The water wheel was so pretty and the sound of it so nice. There is a little island accessible by a bridge.-So pretty. Many of our family said they would come back to El western in the future. I certainly recommend it. The Madison River is nearby for fishing. There wasn't room for anything else. The kitchen seemed to be well stocked until we wanted coffee. They furnished the a 12-cup coffee pot, but all we could find was 3 little bags of coffee that make 9 ounces each. If you don't wash the dishes you use, you get charged. I couldn't help but wonder who had previously washed my coffee cup. I ended up washing it before and after use.

The cabin itself is beautiful, cozy, and well-maintained. Everything was easy to find, and there were helpful notes throughout the space that provided clear instructions and useful information. It was a little tricky to find at first, especially since we arrived at night and weren't familiar with the area, but it all worked out. The owners were incredibly kind and welcoming--we truly appreciated their hospitality. Highly recommend!

We were able to cook most of our meals and just go out for the ones that we wanted to. The bed was super comfortable, and we loved the privacy of the property and being able to have our dog. We definitely plan to come back. This place is only 6 miles from town so you're close enough to get the town action but far enough away to have peace and quiet. Perfect vacation spot for fly fishing because you can park your boat upfront and have no worries.

My stay at the Jeffers was absolutely delightful, and the owners, Leigh and Bob are awesome. Leigh makes a killer breakfast, and keeps the house so beautifully as does Bob. And they have an adorable little dog named Bella. I took my toy poodle with me and she and Bella hung out. If you're visiting Ennis for fishing or simply just visiting family, be sure to stay at the Jeffers.

They had an AC team come in and although they couldn't fix the unit while we were there, they had a portable unit installed to take care of the immediate issue. And more importantly, Manu, the manager, worked to reach an acceptable arrangement to cover our discomfort. Overall - I would definitely return and recommend for others to come see what they have to offer.

A fabulous 3 bedroom 3 bath log home and 2 log cabins with 2 bedrooms each and a private baths. You can rent any one or all for a larger group. We rented all 3 for a family reunion. It is the perfect location. a half a block off of Main street. Just far enough for peace and quiet and close enough for all the fun things to do in Ennis. These are all newly remodeled and have all the creature comforts including a pool on the property. It doesnt' get any better then the Ennis Homestead
