November 2024 (late) Review Our party of six had a good time this Saturday after Thanksgiving. We waited a bit to get a parking spot but not too long. It was quite busy and workers were running around helping everyone. I experienced no rudeness but could tell it was a little stressful on them, especially inside the store. But we were patient considering the service they were providing and this time of year and all the shoppers there. I really liked how they carried our trees out for us, marked them, shook them, and wrapped them up for us. I was appreciative of their service but knew I had to have a little patience with this event as it had a little bit of a "Black Friday" vibe to it. 2025: We are going back again today 11/29/2025. read more

they have seemingly lost their Christmas spirit. the man was very rude. my family has gone here for years and rode the train but he followed me to my car to tell me that they don't allow people to take photos at their farm. there are no signs on their website to indicate that or on the farm. he made me feel like going elsewhere from now on would be best. they also kicked out a group of moms with their two little ones who just wanted to get some cute holiday fun photos. First time here and it was a blast! Few things to know: 1. CASH or CHECK ONLY! Wish we knew ahead of time. There is an ATM on site but of course the line was long and $3.50 fee. 2. No tree shaker so be prepared for lots of needles falling off. 3. Parking is a little tight and getting into the lot was a long wait from the main road. Get there early! Overall this was an amazing experience. Our kiddos had lots of fun especially on the train. They have a huge selection of beautiful trees which made it hard to pick just one. read more

We come here every year to cut down our tree on the same day. Usually the staff are nice, this year most all of the staff were unhelpful at all and kind of rude. Very disappointing since we love this place. The older men at the front are the nicest but the young guys working the tractors are not at all. I get it is the opening day but maybe some help would've been nice! read more

It was an easy trek to find a gorgeous grand fir tree for a reasonable price. Staff were helpful and friendly. Bonus for their carts so we didn't have to carry the tree back! Train only runs on the weekends but we're too old for that anyway! read more

I have been going here for a tree for the past 3 years. They have a good thing going and know what they're doing. Affordable trees that support a small business over the course of the year. Have a variety of U-Cut and Pre-cut trees available over a number of acres. A train for the kids, cocoa and coffee and donut truck for a little snack before or after. Good gift shop inside with a number of goodies, ornaments, fake threes, spray trees, etc. You'll spend between 45min- 2+ hours depending on the weather and how busy it is. Lots of parking, friendly and helpful staff. Great place for a quality tree. I will be back, at least until the kids are older and I can wander around in the woods again and find my own for 5$. read more

Terrible experience! We came there fist time, wanted to look around, the workers were rude, started to attack us right at the front. Told us to go away because they saw a camera. Just a horrible experience! I told all my friends to stay away from the farm because people who work there are angry! They threatened to call police on us because we were lost, we didnt do any harm but they were so angry we didn't buy anything, I cant actually believe it was happening in US. Good selection, very quality trimmed trees, staff were not overly friendly but helpful, tree was bailed, carried and loaded by staff which was nice! Price is per tree type regardless of size and train only runs on the weekends so we did not get to experience that! Apparently their website is not up to date or "not ran by the tree farm" per staff which leads to a lot of misinformation. Would go back due to quality trees. read more

Visited here last year and had a great experience. This year was different... When we arrived the older man at the front immediately asked if we were cutting down a tree today which we said no, but I communicated I would be buying garland. He directed us to the entrance of the barn, I said ok and then I went to take a few pics of my 3 yr old daughter in the front of the big tree by the entrance, but the man followed us and said "we don't encourage photo shoots" and asked if I was using a camera or my phone to take pics. I said we were just taking a couple pics of our daughter on our iPhone. It made us very uncomfortable... I went in and bought the garland and an ornament to show him we weren't just here for a pic & hoped he'd be more friendly. We spent $50 at the store, went back out to take a pic of her, but he just stared us down making the whole situation odd. When we left we got no thank you or bye either... just a weird experience all around. Why is take a pic of my daughter an issue?? I spent $50 at your business and simply wanted to take a few pics of my 3 yr old. I would've tagged your business for free marketing too. I will say the ladies in the store were kind and so helpful! our family has been coming to the Red Barn for 3 generations! We are now bringing great grand children! The train ride and the beautiful hop barn are big attractions. sometimes we even have hot donuts and cider. the trees are beautiful and there are so many kinds to choose from! I always find an interesting new ornament or 2 in the barn. it's a wonderful tradition! read more

Everyone here is rude and Clearly in a bad mood. It's very unorganized and messy. Don't waste your money or time here.

This place has potential to be a great place to create yearly tradition with your family with a U-Cut tree. During my visit this year ( 11/25/22), I was very disappointed in the services by everyone there. Maybe because it's the first day they're open for the year or it's rainy and muddy, but everyone working there was not helpful at all. To top it off, when I headed to the cashier counter to pay for my tree, the older cashier lady greeted me with " what do you want?" After paying and on the way out, you have to turn in a "tag" to leave. I could not find my tag and the gentlemen was fairly okay and let us leave without it. I'm disappointed that there is no clear direction from anyone there. There were multiple families besides us were lost with how they manage their "tag" system. This may not mean much but I will not be creating my family tree cutting tradition there. read more
