The food was…read moretop notch, including the.Cullin Skink soup, thick and creamy and smoking and just perfect. It was served with two large pieces of toasted bread, which was a sort of ciabatta. In fact, this soup was better than anything I've had in Scotland. I also ordered.the shepherds pie which was Delicious and full of small and tasty pieces of lamb. The gravy was dark and thick and the potatoes on top just perfect! Had I known the soup was so rich, I would've ordered a salad to go with it. So I am now stuck with a half of a shepherds pie to dig into for dinner tonight, such a problem to have. The atmosphere is simply lovely and this is a restaurant that I could imagine. My parents dining at back in the 1950s. There is a small gift shop, which is really fun to go through. Service was attentive, but not invasive, and all staff were welcoming.

Dined there on a snowy Friday evening for a pre birthday dinner. We had a cute corner booth very…read moreprivate. I was worried at first because they had live music, but it was far enough away that we could hear it faintly you were still able to have a great conversation and enjoy a great meal. The service was top-notch. Our meals came out in a timely manner, giving us enough time to enjoy each course after we die and we went to see the music. I definitely will be back and book a table closer to the music and enjoy a casual meal.

One in life time experience in New York. where you are able to stay in room where your able to…read moresee the lifestyle of a tiger and lions up close and be able to enjoy the view how they interact with one another and even get some close interaction with them from your room. This experience is available year round we got the best view of all the tigers and we introduced with who our guest(tiger) that would be out to view and gave us a good description of how they act and what they like and there names for us we did the tiger experience which included 3 tigers very relaxed and playful personalities I love it all. The rooms vary depending on what day you book it cause some rooms sell faster than others and each one is number and depending on that number the view point might be skipped different. For instance we got recommended to do 3 and our room choice I would say it was the best section to able to see them all in all angles and the room that comes with a kitchenette prepared to bring snacks or food that can be microwave . Our room canes with also a futon couch and bed with curtains around it bringing the elevated to the room on top of that the decor and the layout of the room was amazing. Check in is at 2pm and it is a self check in process no reception check-in. We checked in online before 2 PM and got our code around that time to get into our area and that was smooth and I love how exclusive it is and peaceful its not to loud like the city vibes it's your away from home kind of vacations vibes. They do have a a quiet time starts at 10pm. And the tiger do not come out earlier than the scheduled time and there more information on there site with more details on that timing and when it's a good time to visit. Overall this was a fun experience to be able to enjoy during spring break and getaway to have some quality time and unforgettable experience with my husband we will definitely be back for the lion experience or even a round two of the tiger

The Haven is the coolest place. When we walked into our bungalow we immediately saw the tigers. I…read morewas apprehensive about how it would go since they are wild animals and who knew if they'd be viable. But it was amazing. Very expensive and well worth it. The tigers are out from 2pm to 11pm (and at 7am the next morning) and although I'd choose a different bungalow next time it was so great. Seeing the tigers run around the enclosure, play, lay in front of our window was spectacular. We were in bungalow #1 but I think #4 where they enter the enclosure from and are fed would be better. They spent a lot of time near there and while we saw them a good amount, the people in those bungalows clearly had more tiger action. Or a bungalow in the middle where you could see more to the left and right. Bungalow #1 was at the far right so the tigers didn't spend a ton of time at the far corner where we were. We could also hear the lions roaring at night and in the morning which was super cool. The rooms were very nice. Comfortably sleeps 4. The indoor fireplace was cute and the bathroom was really nice. Loved the window in the shower where you could watch the tigers. There is coffee but 4 pods, 2 regular 2 decaf, so if you need more bring a pod that works in a Keurig. We also had trouble lighting a fire in the outdoor fire pit. The wood was covered but damp and there was no kindling. It could have been user error but we were never able to make a fire. It's a nice amenity, but we couldn't get it going. Which means we couldn't make the s'mores we paid $8 for that were tiny (4 marshmallow, 4 crackers and a chocolate bar). Overall 5 stars, would definitely go back. Great for kids and adults. We didn't want to leave to go to dinner for fear we'd miss something!
