On their website the owners state their medical backgrounds but the callous and lackadaisical attitude for serious health conditions are a cause for concern. During the meal my child suffered a reaction after they had assured us of her safety. We left the venue and spent the entire reception in a medical facility. I did speak to Chrissy(in the office) and explained my situation and how serious food allergies are and thank goodness my medical insurance paid for her treatment. I tried to contact Nancy who I had spoken to on several occasions but they won't return my phone calls or emails. This type of business practice is unempathetic and unprofessional.

Love the small plates and so many tasty options for the holidays! They are very small portions especially the arancini was two tiny bite size balls. Our food was subpar. The lamb chops were tasty but each chop was cooked to a different temp/doneness. The gnocchi dish I got seemed to have a very thick jarred sauce. We really looked forward to eating here based on the outstanding reviews. Unfortunately, we were…read morevery disappointed with our experience, food quality and the food portions for the extremely high prices. We called to make a reservation, but were told one was not needed for a Thursday night. We were also told to not be discouraged by the number of cars in the parking lot based on a meeting that was going on in another part of the building. When we arrived, there was no hostess, but a sign read, "please seat yourself". As we sat at one of the tables there was only one other four top that was occupied. It took about 10 minutes for our waitress to come to our table. This was a different person than the one assisting the other four top. I would note that she failed to acknowledge us or great us the three or four times she entered the room. We ordered two bowels of the NE clam chowder and an order of onion rings. We ordered the chicken tenders with fries, chicken parm with spaghetti (we were told they had no other type of pasta to choose from) and fish and chips. The soup and onion rings arrived first. The soup was good but not the best. It did taste homemade, but lacked the great flavor you would expect. Our first issue really appeared when we received the rings. It had a total of seven rings, included some rather small ones made from the bottom/top of the onion. This was unacceptable for a price of $14. Likewise, they did not taste homemade but a frozen type you could make at home. When our meals arrived we were again disappointed by the portion of the side of fries for the chicken tenders and fish. They also did not appear or taste handcut and consisted of a small hand full for each entree. The fish and chicken tenders were cooked well, but again lacked seasoning and taste. I was unsure if there is an onion or potato shortage I am unaware of, but the amounts provided as an appetizer and for our sides did not match the price paid. The chicken parm was likewise tasteless and consisted of one piece of chicken and store bought pasta. All-in-all it was a $105 bill, with three waters. We were also presented with a 3% surcharge for using a credit card, which would have been nice to know prior to paying. Although this appears to be common practice for small food businesses, I never had this charge assessed at "higher" end restaurants, as it is becoming more uncommon to carry that much cash anymore. Based on the above, we will not be returning. There are so many other restaurants in the area that are far superior in food quality, portions, and preparation for the price. Moondance is just a few miles down the road, which is one such option and Skaneateles has many others.

Pros: Cozy rooms with an amazing air conditioner and the water pressure in the shower was great. Comfortable bed, clean and organized room. He was very comfortable and loved the large green space outside. *We also liked that it was adults only when we were there. Cons: Parking is a little tight. When we arrived, we had trouble getting into door #1 but we figured it out. It was stuck and you had to push it hard to get it open. We wished there was more closet space or more space to put our two suitcases. The road The Bond is located on gave me "Pet Semetary" vibes... it's a highway with many fast cars and semi trucks driving by and there's no barrier between the grass and the road. Definitely keep your pets on a leash. Also to note, my husband was under the impression The Bond was located on the lake based on the photos from the website and the room we stayed in was advertised as "Lake View King, Room 1". This b&b is actually located across highway 41 from the lake and we could barely see it. This was a disappointment.
