A new business taking over from Graham O'Sullivans slot in the shopping centre. They added lots of colour to the entrance so I was curious to see what they'd added to the food.
The new owners seem to have kept what was good with the old formula and changed what wasn't working. The layout is pretty much the same, but the food is no longer sitting there slowly drying out on a hot plate. I ordered a small breakfast, which was pretty good value with 5 items, tea and toast for 5.50, all of which seemed to be cooked to order rather than served dry and congealed, as with the previous business.
It arrived to my table a little cold, but I think that was more my fault for being engrossed in a book and not noticing the wait staff wandering around with my food looking for me. On the plus side when I asked for butter it was brought to my table promptly AND with a selection of jams, AND for no extra charge... which is one of those small things that you appreciate. I have to say it was a good breakfast and I'll definitely be going back. read more
