I asked for a quote on lights and Christopher and I arranged a time to arrive at the house. He was prompt, courteous, and explained the details of creating the right look for the house. We chose the multicolored lights. Chris returned a few days later when it was convenient for both of us and he installed the lights. Our house looks pretty darn good in these dark days of COVID-19. I highly suggest you avoid Rectify Home Solutions (also doing business as Horizon Irrigation). He will lie and create problems to charge you more. He pointed out an issue with something that was recently fixed and immediately said he would have to charge more. When I mentioned I just had it fixed, he tightened something and all of a sudden it was fine. Then he flooded my irrigation box and left without telling me thinking I wouldn't see it before he returned. He then said he would have to charge me to fix it. I decided to have someone else finish the job and offered to pay for the materials and work completed. He insisted I pay the full amount because I didn't give him a chance to finish it so he "expected the full amount." He then proceeded to call me names and argue although I was offering to pay (more than I should have) for the work completed. A few days later he offered to take me out on a date because he liked how I was "stern and independent." I declined. When I venmoed him the payment, he responded with this and continued to text me unprofessional things because he was upset that I noted it was for the incomplete irrigation. Very poor communication, missed scheduled appointment without informing, came to my house unannounced and enter my property without permission. Then he charged me more time than what he actually spent in my property. I then decided to let him go and pay for the time he spent on my property (he didn't put any parts/material), but he said "I'll see you in court". I would definitely recommend rectify home solutions to anybody in the Reno area. The estimate was better than others in the area. The project was completed in a timely manner, the business owner himself comes out to every job to ensure that a proper installation was done. Chris Preciado with Rectify is one of the worst business people I've ever had the displeasure to come across. He never gave us an invoice and would ask US how much we owed, due to him nor knowing what price he quoted us. It changed every year. It's our stupidity that we used him for 3 years. It was just easier to use him rather than finding someone new. PLEASE do yourself a favor and find someone new. He 1st told us that we bought the Xmas lights and would only pay for installation after the 1st year. I unfortunately believed him. Once we started to question him, he then told us, "It would be a pleasure not to come back next year," when we voiced our displeasure. This guy shouldn't be in business. Instead of waiting for a reply with a time I was available, he showed up at my house while I was still at work. I have been using Chris & his crew for a couple of years now to do my lawn & yard service. He has done an AMAZING job with my personal residence as well as the landscaping at my business. I was so happy to find out he had expanded his business to hang Christmas lights now! Recently I had him hang Italian lights around my salon.
