I'm in Operations at a Tech Startup called SeamlessDocs. One of the many hats I wear is Head of Recruiting. I don't usually leave reviews like this, but I had such a great experience with Recruits Lab that I wanted to share with others. Bandwidth has been a challenge in 2019 in regards to sourcing candidates while also ensuring our interview process is a good one... We ramped up hiring this year so I was put in touch with Recruits Lab to get some help. I dealt with Darren and Chris on their team who are both awesome. We don't often use recruiting firms but right off the bat they were very easy to work with and transparent.
First, they're EXTREMELY on top of everything. They constantly sent updates, reminders, suggestions, feedback, etc. I haven't been that looped into a recruiting process before and appreciated it because I had so much going on that it became harder to keep up.
Second, the first role we gave them was our Director of Marketing and they knocked it out of the park. We immediately got a few candidates from them - all of whom had some serious chops in the areas we were looking for... Keep in mind, my team was also spending time sourcing via LinkedIn, AngelList, ZipRecruiter, and a few other avenues (we didn't want to rely solely on a recruiting firm but it became clear quickly that Recruits Lab was filling our pipeline quicker than we could keep up).
All said and done, everyone they sent was high quality. They did a great job at setting expectations with the candidates and giving insight into our company. We went through the hiring process for the Director of Marketing and the final 2 candidates we chose from were both from Recruits Lab. The person we decided to hire has ended up being one of the best additions to our team in a long time.
Like I said, I don't usually leave reviews like this, but they've been HUGELY helpful to me and my team. I would highly recommend them to anyone who has serious hiring needs and not enough bandwidth. Even if you do have the bandwidth, consider getting in touch if you just want some quality candidates. read more
