If one is looking for a job or to make a career change, regardless of your education or experience,…read morethey have a dedicated team of workforce professionals who can help guide you through every step of the process. The best part is that it's a free service offered to Florida residents. I needed help with both filing for unemployment benefits earlier in the year, just before everything was closed due to Covid-19 and then I needed help updating my resume. That was the purpose of today's visit. They have implemented a Covid-19 plan, so I had to wait in line outside, as they restricted occupancy. Once inside, I had my temperature taken and was told to use hand sanitizer they supplied. I was able to meet with a career counselor, review and update my resume, but was not able to print it. It's a great service and idea, but the process is slow and some of the workers are not as empathetic as they should be. The computer lab is also outdated, but still gets the job done.

I got rejected into WIOA bc I work 1 day a week, mind you I have no family, no child support, no nothing and 5 invisible disabilities. I cannot go back to EBD teaching bc of my underlying conditions. I was rejected to WIOA even though I'm on assistance. I was rejected to an internship bc they only help people with visible disabilities who have no experience in the work field. So, I asked what are my options, they said contact Placement. I contacted Placement and no one is calling me back, not even after WIOA woman emailed them along with fromt desk. It's a piece of garbage. Same with every single staffing agency I tried to work with. They won't help you outside of WIOA with zero income, if you're a single parent without custody, and if you have physical disabilities or no work experience.

You need Karen Winn!!…read more I was lost, discouraged and disappointed before I was connected with Karen through a friend. I had been searching for a job that would not only challenge and make a better professional out of me, but one that paid a dignified salary. Karen was not only effective at pairing me to the perfect company, she is with you throughout the whole process. She called and reassured me that I will absolutely get hired by an amazing company and that I should believe it. Every two days she would touch base with her cheery personality and motivated. She also prepped me for my interview and ... I GOT THE JOB! Karen's work wasn't over though. She called to celebrate with me over the phone and promised to walk in with me on my first day. I can say she's magical. It's a win win with Karen Winn

Over the past 3 months I received 3 messages from Bill Ferguson, a sneaky recruiter who never signs his emails with a specific location but that I quickly traced to Fort Lauderdale. He also never addresses me with my name but goes for the easy option: cut and paste. Bill Ferguson does not seem to know the difference between job titles so he only sends me laundry lists of jobs that would require relocation and that are for the most part unrelated with what I do (90% of the time or more). I just came across another one of those recruiters I refuse to work with because they do not read before contacting: useless and wasteful. Avoid at all costs. Avoid like the plague.

As soon as I walked in the door, though I had inadvertently entered through the back door, I was warmly greeted and rather impressed with the general bright décor and setup of their offices. I was also impressed to find out that they could handle all of my friends needs as they maintain a data base of over 100,000 professional crew with crew agents in various separate departments that would specialize in selecting those best suited for a particular yacht. I passed the information on to my friends for them to finalize any details, which they did, and have been advised that they couldn't have been more pleased. As I'm sure that the staff at Bluewater were aware that was an amateur handling such affairs, matters such as these are generally handled by a yacht's captain, they clearly went out of their way to accommodate me. They not only answered all of my questions but also advised me on a few points that I should have had questioned but failed to ask. I was also interested in the size of their operations, which are really big. They not only assist with crew placement but also handle yacht brokerage, are a yacht-training provider in Europe, have operations in Antibes, France, Mallorca, Spain, Moscow and Miami. Then, if you intend to have a Yacht designed and constructed, they offer new construction management. So no matter your needs when it comes to larger yachts, particularly those of the super or mega yacht categories, Bluewater seems to have you covered.
