My fiancé, our dog and I were visiting from out of town for a weekend getaway and were rear ended in town. Thankfully we were all uninjured, but did suffer minor bumper and exhaust damage. This resulted in a *noise* that left us uneasy about our 4 hour trek home within the next few days. Of course this incident took place on a Friday afternoon, 2 hours to closing. We didn't know where to turn so we called up this local spot and were welcomed with open arms, no appointment necessary. They assessed our car, helped tie up loose ends and put our bumper back as good as they could get it. They even let our corgi pup inside to escape the 90 degree heat we are so not use to. We cannot express our gratitude for taking our issue head-on and making us feel at home. Joe and Cody explained that this was a sort of "family run" shop, and we could feel that. Thanks to you guys, our trip was saved and we have the peace of mind driving all the way home. Hope you enjoyed our special treat and hope not to see you again under these circumstances again!

I mean, she had less than 84k miles and I always intended to drive her til the wheels fall off. Geico had me take her to Caliber Collision, where they said it was $4.5k+ worth of damage. I opted to wait and find a small(er) biz neighborhood shop, which is how I ended up at A-Pro Auto Body. From the jump, Tom was friendly, easy to work with, and quoted me a much lower number (even after adding another unrelated repair), so I was happy to entrust them with fixing my girl. He didn't even give me a hard time when I had to pay them the 50% down in 20s (there is a fee for using a card for payment and I am trying to keep as much of that insurance payout as I can, y'know). He told me it would take about two weeks, and I was mentally prepared to wait longer, but they ended up needing less time, and I was pleasantly surprised to get the call well before I had expected it. When I picked her up, I was thrilled to see her back in fighting shape, and way cleaner than when she was dropped off. The vibe of the place definitely reminded me of auto wrecking/transmission shops that my mom and I have worked at in our younger years. Is it super fancy and shiny? Nope. Can you tell that they are/like a family and care for their customers? Absolutely. Tom playfully told me that they don't want to see me back there, and I do hope that I don't need to visit again anytime soon, but I will definitely recommend them to anyone who mentions car repair in my presence.

The issue was straightforward and resolvable in a single day. After eleven days of vague and questionable excuses, I finally got my car back. I don't know if Tune Tech's policy is to "just get them in" and then manage as best they can, but it would explain the overpromising and underdelivering I experienced. I hope their scheduling and policies don't reflect their technical abilities. I hope they fixed my car correctly. I wish I didn't have that doubt. Time will tell. We asked around for recommendations from family members, friends, and also looked at online reviews. Lloyd's came up several times, so we decided to give him a try. They've been absolutely great every time we've had to bring our vehicle in. Their prices are more than reasonable, there's even been a couple of occasions where they have told us of less expensive ways to get repairs done. Which I really appreciate. I would definitely recommend taking your late model car to them. We've never had any issues, have always been very pleased with the work, and really appreciate the customer service as well.

I have been a customer of Lloyd's for approximately 20 years because I have always trusted the…read morequality of their work. Unfortunately, during my last couple of visits, I was disappointed by how much their pricing has increased and how much they upcharge for parts. I understand the need to charge a diagnostic fee. However, charging $150 to scan a vehicle--a process that takes only a few minutes--and then not applying any portion of that fee toward the actual repair labor feels excessive. During my most recent visit, I had already identified the problem and had priced the cost of both OEM and aftermarket replacement parts before bringing my vehicle in. When I received the invoice, I was surprised to see that the part had been marked up by approximately 125%. While I recognize that repair shops mark up parts, this level of markup seemed unreasonable. As I mentioned, I have always trusted the quality of Lloyd's workmanship, but I no longer have the same confidence in their pricing. After comparing estimates from several other repair shops for the same repair, I found that Lloyd's was by far the most expensive. Because of this, I have made the decision to have my vehicles serviced elsewhere. I regret having to do so after being a loyal customer for two decades, but I hope this feedback is helpful as you evaluate your pricing practices.
