I called Reliable Towing to move a shed for me. I had tried everything to move this thing! I tried using a 10,000 lbs mini excavator AND a skidsteer to no avail. My backyard was not easy to access but had just enough room to get buy. Shaun my tow truck driver had no problem backing in (there was only about 2 feet of clearance each side of his truck on a 45 degree turn to get in.) I was impressed! I showed Shaun where I wanted the shed knowing it would be difficult to get it there. He placed the shed within 6" of the area I had marked! Amazing skill and precision. I went through Allstate and was at first given a different tow company. They canceled the tow because they didn't have a big enough truck without telling me so I was in a bad mood when I requested a different company. Matt was the driver that showed up I think, he was friendly and fast to arrive. He took some pictures for liability and then got to work loading my truck up, i have a larger crew cab long box that was squeezed in between two cars. I suggested that I could push the car out in neutral but he said he didn't need me to. Great driver and company I will definitely recommend to anyone who has car troubles. And also he knew about the shop I was towing to and gave me some pointers and knowledge about the shop. read more

Getting a flat is never fun, but this company definitely made it less stressful. We ended up needing a tow quite a long distance. Reliable towing was able to do the tow as an unattended vehicle, so we didn't have to wait at the side of the freeway with it. Matt was a great communicator and kept us in the loop the entire time. My son was driving down the highway and his front left tire came halfway off we called AAA and they dispatched to Reliable Towing and a very nice young man by the name of Von. The problem arose when we were pulling the car up onto the tow truck the wheel completely came off. Von had the correct tools to do the job and he did it without causing further damage to the underside of the car. He was very personable on time and just all around a good guy I highly recommend Von with Reliable Towing. We used this company three times to tow our car which wasn't running. The first two tows were great and we had no issues, however, the third tow ended up costing us almost $500.00 in parts they explained wasn't their fault. Although their protocol is to jumpstart a dead battery vehicle, the driver proceeded to pull apart the inside override to get the car to neutral. After all necessary components were replaced the shop told us the idrive was broken and made a comment that it looked like the tow company possibly used the manual override and messed some things up. The tow company agreed they got in there but because no damage was to be seen they are not taking responsibility. Pretty ridiculous since the part was working prior and had nothing to do with what was being done in the first place with the engine. Just took short cuts and cost us more money in the long run. Wish I could have given 5 stars because the company itself seems decent, just didn't care how responsibility was pawned off on something/someone else. read more

For recovery services, this company should consider changing its name. I was stuck in mud and called for help getting pulled out. The driver told me he would leave within fifteen minutes, but took around 45 minutes to get on the road. About 50 yards from me and while he was still on the gravel road before it turned to dirt, he decided to turn around because he was afraid of getting stuck himself. I never saw or heard him. Not sure why he brought a truck that could not handle a little mud, for a job that involved pulling someone out of mud. I wish he had told me upfront he did not have the right vehicle, so I could have called another company, which I eventually had to do, about 1.5 hours later. To his credit, the driver called the next day to make sure I made it out, and offered to make the drive out in the daylight. Also, my phone battery died while he was driving to me, which contributed to an already frustrating experience. On the upside, their prices are reasonable, if you are willing to risk spending a night outdoors. read more

Horrible customer service. I have never had good luck with tow companies but this was ridiculous. I had them tow my car because the brakes locked up and I was on crutches due to an injury so I was unable to fix the brakes at the time. I had Reliable Towing move my car around the corner where it would be safe and out of the way until I could fix it. Well, they parked it illegally on a crosswalk, on a corner, facing the wrong way. I called them to respectively find a way to solve this as I had just given them about 80 dollars to move the car and I didn't want to pay another 60 for the parking tickets that I had got for it. They dodged ny phone calls and put me on hold for a while just to have me leave a message. When I finally spoke with someone I was basically told that's not their problem and they wouldn't do anything to resolve it. Tow companies are highway robbery in my opinion and this just put the icing on the cake as to why you should ALWAYS FIND ANOTHER WAY TO MOVE YOUR VEHICLE BEFORE CALLING A TOW TRUCK. I will never be calling these guys again read more
