Tip Top Towing was dispatched through Volkswagen Roadside Assistance to tow my vehicle. Through a confusing series of events completely outside of Tip Top Towing's control, another towing company ended up taking the call after it had been canceled on their end. Unfortunately, that company towed my vehicle without communicating with me, leaving me with no idea where my car had been taken. Even though Tip Top Towing was no longer responsible for the call, they refused to leave me stranded with the problem. At Brandon's direction, Mike went above and beyond to help track down what had happened to my vehicle. They spent hours of their day helping me locate my car, communicating with several parties involved, and making sure the situation was finally sorted out. What impressed me most was that they did all of this when they could very easily have said, "This is no longer our call." Instead, they treated me like I was still their customer and took ownership of helping me find a solution. That speaks volumes about the kind of company Tip Top Towing is. Mike was incredibly kind, patient, professional, and helpful, and Brandon demonstrated exactly the kind of leadership and customer service you hope to encounter when something has gone wrong. Both of them showed genuine integrity and concern for me as a customer. In an industry where people are often calling because they are already dealing with a stressful situation, having people who genuinely care makes all the difference. Top Top Towing helped me get my car to a tire shop as it was almost midnight and they even gave me a ride to the casino so I had a place to sit and wait for the tire shop to open which was about an seven hour wait. We were on the last leg home of a trip to the West Coast to visit family and friends. Only 2 - 3…read morehours left to go, when we had total bearing failure on the right side of our Retro camper. The tire popped off and rolled down the side of I90. Now what? There is a hole in the normal process of towing a vehicle ... it has to roll. It has to roll down the highway or onto the back of a tow truck. So, what do you do when it can't roll? The first company my husband called said they couldn't do the job, but recommended Recovery Masters. I used the waiting time to get some work done, and my husband worked with the tow truck driver. He was impressed. The driver used two main functions of the tow truck: 1) the bed could tilt and go down to the ground, 2) the tow truck could pull away from the bed. Reversing the idea, he pushed the bed under the camper and pulled it on, little bit by little bit. Bravo!

Driver pulled out in front of me on highway 195. I was going 60 and had to slam on the brakes…read moreslowing down to 20. There was nobody behind me. I had my headlights on and he sat at the stop sign for a good 3 seconds before pulling out. I'm guessing he was on his phone at the stop sign and didn't look before pulling out. He then proceeded to go over the speed limit, probably 75-80 mph in a 60 zone. Very unsafe driving in regular conditions and then take into consideration it was raining.
