Not 100% certain if they're closed or not buuuuuuut…read more.. This faith based community offers a multitude of greatness! Starting with church for the community every Sunday at 11am. Hosted by The Gathering in the main venue of LIDE. If you get there early you can mix and mingle over coffee and complimentary refreshments in the Umbrella Gallery. What's the Umbrella Gallery, you say?! Umbrella Gallery is a place for artists and art lovers alike - a place to practice and experience contemporary art in all its forms. The image is of a man holding an umbrella. He doesn't hold it over himself. Instead, his arm is outstretched, ready to shelter others, even if it means he gets wet in the process. The image serves as a reminder of the type of sacrificial love and service that LIDEs faith calls to live out every day. It's a modern day depiction of the Good Samaritan and the "Unexpected Neighbor" mantra they value. I saw an awesome exhibit there that was beautiful, thought provoking and innovative. The creativity shows well in the photos. If you're a creative this is a great spot for you! I just finished a review for Mokah, the coffee shop located inside LIDE!

I stopped here the other day to visit Mokah with a friend. We loved that there was free parking,…read moreGREAT coffee and an eclectic vibe in the coffeehouse. After we drank our coffee -- white mocha all the way!-- we walked over and looked through the artwork on the all. While it was not my style, per say, it is neat to be able to walk around and see art without having to pay an entrance fee. I will be back! Especially for the coffee :)

Their specialized rehabilitation teaches the patient how to live life from a wheelchair. As terrible and as sad as an injury like this is, no one was in there moping. The positive energy that fills this hospital is amazing. It's truly incredible to see what a person can do with the right information. This rehabilitation center provides the patient with information that, while not hard, may have never been utilized. I give this place five stars because the staff, every one of them were sincere, positive, and accommodating. I have one exception. A doctor who seems to have fallen into a rut of repetition, unwilling to personalize his specific and unique authority. Dr. Lance Bruce. When questioned about a credible, however unique (to the patient) condition, he blew it off and was rather rude. I am not going to get into specifics, but my family has health care experience so we weren't just talking out of our respective you know whats. But since there is such minimal contact with this doctor, even if you are his patient, and since the real support comes from everyone else here, I still give this place an A+ for making such a terrible situation for someone into a manageable lifestyle. Family is also welcome at all times. Each patient has a weekly meeting about their progress in which their doctor, physical therapist, nurse, social worker, and family are in attendance.
