Dr. Lampley did a great job on my right hand surgery, and did the same on my left. I've been having pain for months in my left hand and it's now pretty unbearable. I was refused an appointment to see him in September about it because their billing department said I owed them money, WHICH I MADE COPIES OF MY RECEIPTS FOR THE 10th TIME and gave them to them to PROVE I was paid to date! It's been a nightmare for 3 years. I owe them nothing! I've kept receipts of all payments and have had to keep proving it, yet they still insist I owe them and had the GALL to send my account to collections! (My credit score is 850...). And now my hand is really hurting so no choice but to seek medical attention elsewhere. Also, I've had a lot of surgery and I've never had a surgeon charge for the 1st follow up visit after a surgery, have you? That's legitimately the only copay I (supposedly) owed them, so I just paid it. But I find this very fishy because when I went to my follow up appointments after each surgery they didn't take any payment (I offered) so I assumed it was included with the surgery copay cost, as is the norm. They changed their minds much later on and decided I owed for those 3 visits? That's not right! I had 3 surgeries with SOS surgeons and they charge for the post-surgical follow up long after the fact?? Hmmmm.... Anyway, when I politely called and asked to speak to the St. Augustine office general manager today to discuss this, they refused to give me his/her name and said they couldn't give out that information. Lol. This is a public business. You can't give the name or contact information for the general manager? Again - such bizarre business practices! Dr. Lampley I have no complaints about, I would not have another shoulder replacement with Dr. Jones, and I highly recommend the PT and OT team, but the billing department refusing my hand appointment (for a problem related to a surgery at SOS) because of a messed up billing department is deplorable business practice. Not to mention the fact that after all of my correspondence or calls NOT ONE PERSON has reached to me via call or email to help resolve it, even though it's THEIR mess, (at my expense)! I had no choice but to use this platform to warn others because they've not tried to help fix their billing issues. I can't be the only one in this position... I'm sure there are others who are in the same boat. I have a 4" stack of correspondence with receipts that I've sent with no response. Beware, and keep your receipts! If I could afford to retain a lawyer to take them to court, I would. I actually looked into it but can't afford the retainer. Sucks that they get away with this... Shame on them! What they're doing is unjust. (Legal Aid was of no help- but said it was considered Medicare fraud to charge people more than their Medicare copay for services rendered...) I'll just warn others for now, since I guess that's all a person with a limited income can do.

I went from being not able to run, to be able to run 10 miles in only 6 weeks! He is really nice, respectful and knowledgeable. He has a lot of experience and you can tell by the results. Unlike the other PTs in Miami, I am getting 1-on-1 care in every visit. Definitely recommend. I wish I could have find this place before, but I am glad I did eventually. Brittany was my therapist and she was excellent. She is gentle and very intelligent with a soothing voice. Also she graduated from University of Florida, which has a very rigorous course and strict high standards. I am an MD with my undergraduate degree from UF so I respect that school a lot! She informed me that they take my insurance even tho my messy insurance company didn't show them as an option. I thought I was going to have to travel a few miles when they are not too far from me. Since I've been there Christina has always been super helpful and very genuinely friendly with anything I need or ask about. My DPT is Katie and she is the bomb. She knows how to connect with each one of her patients and with the students who assist her from USA. She knows her skill very well and has a great personality and she and while staff is professional. The office is always clean and if not quiet with light music in the back ground it's filled with laughter. They help us stay positive about our therapy, pain and progress. I am so glad I decided to stop in a few weeks ago trying to help out my guy. At that time Katie even helped him find a primary care doctor. She even called for him to make sure hey accept his insurance and new patients. He will be starting next week doe his PT. he is very comfortable knowing that this is a great place to have his PT. Lisa at the front desk was unexpectedly rude and unwelcoming, which was surprising and off-putting--especially as a potential new patient. There are plenty of physical therapy clinics in the area, and first impressions make a big difference. The front desk staff plays a huge role in shaping the patient experience, and unfortunately, this interaction made me reconsider coming here at all. I hope this is addressed so others aren't made to feel the same way.
