Which were the two spot I pointed him to as the worst in the house but were absolutely not the only affected areas. Something I brought up to later on which he turned into a "miscommunication" on my part. No Anthony. There's no miscommunication about you not doing a job you were paid for. Unfortunately our landlord then turned around and hired Anthony to do the retesting during remediation and Anthony suggested a remediation company that did not have their license to run a remediation company (see photos) but the quality of their work and complete confusion when asked anything during the process was telling even before online confirmation. Two areas in the living room were written in the report that needed to be addressed by remediation professionals. Day 2 of remediation, we stop by the house to check the mail and to be nosy about the process at the house thus far. They completely missed and didn't do ANYTHING to one of the two areas in the living room even after we asked them why they weren't touching that area (they had no idea they needed too despite the report having it) and when bringing it to Anthony's attention (as well as him not doing any moisture readings or checking any other room or area in the house) he ignored the questions. There was a failed retest that we never got the results from and then a passing one 3 days later showing ZERO counts of black mold. Don't know how that could have been since no fans or dehumidifiers were used at any point. The second round of remediation after the failed attempt, was just one guy cleaning up the mess the first round left behind and him putting a fan in the kitchen with a bag on it that led out the kitchen window (we have cameras dummy) Also, locating and fixing the issue that was causing the mold in that one area until AFTER remediation was completed. The whole house smelling of mold and walls dripping with moisture still when we were allowed back in. I brought all of this up to Anthony and he played dumb but was all too ready to remind me of THCs price points if I wanted him to come back to the property and check things out. I also got the craziest one way-ed non-disparagement release/settlement from their lawyer that I've ever seen. They are insane if they think people should sign that just to get their money back for a job not done in the slightest and give them the power to sue you if they decide some random persons bad review of their business is connected to you in anyway imaginable. I gave multiple options for renegotiating terms and contract modifications that were mutually beneficial and they would not budge a fraction of an inch. Feeling guilty boys?

I contracted with Remedy Goofing after a hail storm damaged our roof and elected to replace the roof with a product called EuroShield. Think of rubberized tile made from recycled tires that comes with a proven 50-year warranty against hail. The manufacture requires a certified roofer to install the interlocking tiles. While Remedy Goofing maybe certified, they did not assemble the tiles in an interlocking manor and often cut tiles to fit bypassing the interlock design. If that isn't bad enough they installed tiles on a near flat portion 0.5/12 slopped roof where minimum industry standards is 2/12. Did I get leaks? You bet I did. I called Remedy Goofing and asked them to come out and take a look. Six weeks later, no response. I called out another roofer to provide an estimate for the repair and they simply said that they won't touch the roof given the poor workmanship and noncompliant installation. I've got photos and happy to share. Would be nice to post them here if it were an option.

The owner, Tim Kana, walked my roof and gave me his estimate on a contract. At a subsequent appointment, the details of the work were discussed, in person and Tim Kana understood and wrote everything that I required in my contract and signed it. The materials were delivered the morning of the work, but the drip edge material was not the one specified in the contract. The application of the shingles was not applied with the contracted Texas Wind Code required 6 nails per shingles, even after I contacted Tim Kana during the application. The application of the drip edge was not nailed into the wood decking in many places. The mis-aligned starter strip adhesion will not stick down and will thus fail to meet GAF requirements. The ridge vents were incorrectly installed with mis-matching pieces, exposed nail heads. and ragged roof caps. His workers caused damage to my existing aluminum facia board covers which was not repaired, even though Tim Kana specifically agreed, in his writing, on our contract that he would be responsible for any of that damage. Post installation, Tim Kana was presented with pictured proof of before and after damages to my existing aluminum facia, showing new nails from his crew's nail guns, damaging my facia. Subsequent requests to address problems were only met with profanity and Tim Kana would not honor what he wrote in our contract. All-in-all, the specified installation and resulting quality of work was poor, so and I doubt the GAF warrantee will be honored on this Texan Roofing installation. The written Texan Roofing contract warrantee is not worth the paper it is written on and will not be honored. Avoid. Your response is, untruthful, as your words and actions have been in the past. When you respond "My roofers are 100% sure that the fascia damage you are mad at wasn't caused by them", they were only afraid for their jobs. I have audio of your crew foreman admitting that they caused the facia damage with their nail guns, and could fix it, but you remain in denial. The pictured damage was presented to you the following day after your crew left near dark. I sent you a certified letter that you avoided, like a summons. I showed time stamped pictures of my facia before and after showing damage from new nails matching your nail guns, presented to you in my BBB complaint. Its criminal when you do not abide by what you write into your customers roofing contracts. When you deny the pictured facts, it only confirms your poor reputation. No one should trust Texan Roofing and Tim Kana to modify their home when he will not honor their written contracts and you do not know what you will be paying. The facts are irrefutable. Potential customers should take note of the way you run your roofing business and that you did not and may not honor your future written contracts for installation or warrantee. You will regret using Texan Roofing and Tim Kana
