They promptly scheduled me within 2 days and walked me through the possible causes of the leaks and also recommended a full roof tuneup. The price was very reasonable and the quality of work was top notch. I had to have them come out a couple more times for one spot on our roof that kept leaking in our attic and they came out to fix it with no questions asked and no additional cost. They stand by their work and word. I worked with Josh Dill for the inspection and follow up fixes and he was excellent. Responded promptly and was very nice. I could not recommend them enough. I will be using them for any future roof work I will potentially need done.

Also request to retain the final payment until an external inspection is complete to ensure ( all layers as advertised were installed, decking was repaired, and flashing are properly sealed). 3. Record your conversations with them, as I did. I experienced weaponized incompetence, gaslighting, manipulation by the male employees during my October 2023 new roof installation. As of 7/11/24 I still have a hole in my decking, despite paying for a new roof installation. I reached out to the company's owner, hoping to resolve these matters and to utilize the advertised warranty associated with my purchase. Unfortunately, haven't received a response from anyone regarding my concerns on installation, requested paperwork, warranty, or the proper caulking of flashing for my home. Please note: I called them before Hurricane Beryl to look at my roof as part of the warranty and of 7/11/24 I have "not" received a response. ****Buyers Beware****

I am so pleased with the quality of my new roof and the level of care and professionalism that Klint and his team demonstrated. My new roof is far superior to my previous as Klint worked hand-in-hand with my insurance company to ensure that they were able to address all of the deficiencies that the prior roof had as a result of home builders cheaper products and installation techniques. My roof is far superior to what it was previously and I'm confident will bring us years of security and enjoyment. I do live in Katy city limits and Klint was seamlessly able to navigate their inspections and certification requirements so I encourage anyone needing a roof inspection, repair, or replacement to give Klint a call at 832-520-7402

Stephen is honest, caring and a GREAT SMALL BUSINESS OWNER. The quote he gave us was transparent; labor cost, material cost and top notch products. (he was almost half the price of a big roofing company and their quote was not transparent; he couldn't help us determine why it was so high either.. it didn't add up!) His quote for gutters and mesh guards is the best we've received also. He made us feel like part of the family from the moment we met. We had a boot replaced and they couldn't get to us with all the rain delays. He came out and covered the boot to prevent more leaking inside, and then he along with a crew member came out on a Saturday morning to replace the boot. While we do not want more roofing issues, I oddly can't wait to hire them for more work! 10/10, no notes, great small business and you won't regret hiring this company.

The owner, Tim Kana, walked my roof and gave me his estimate on a contract. At a subsequent appointment, the details of the work were discussed, in person and Tim Kana understood and wrote everything that I required in my contract and signed it. The materials were delivered the morning of the work, but the drip edge material was not the one specified in the contract. The application of the shingles was not applied with the contracted Texas Wind Code required 6 nails per shingles, even after I contacted Tim Kana during the application. The application of the drip edge was not nailed into the wood decking in many places. The mis-aligned starter strip adhesion will not stick down and will thus fail to meet GAF requirements. The ridge vents were incorrectly installed with mis-matching pieces, exposed nail heads. and ragged roof caps. His workers caused damage to my existing aluminum facia board covers which was not repaired, even though Tim Kana specifically agreed, in his writing, on our contract that he would be responsible for any of that damage. Post installation, Tim Kana was presented with pictured proof of before and after damages to my existing aluminum facia, showing new nails from his crew's nail guns, damaging my facia. Subsequent requests to address problems were only met with profanity and Tim Kana would not honor what he wrote in our contract. All-in-all, the specified installation and resulting quality of work was poor, so and I doubt the GAF warrantee will be honored on this Texan Roofing installation. The written Texan Roofing contract warrantee is not worth the paper it is written on and will not be honored. Avoid. Your response is, untruthful, as your words and actions have been in the past. When you respond "My roofers are 100% sure that the fascia damage you are mad at wasn't caused by them", they were only afraid for their jobs. I have audio of your crew foreman admitting that they caused the facia damage with their nail guns, and could fix it, but you remain in denial. The pictured damage was presented to you the following day after your crew left near dark. I sent you a certified letter that you avoided, like a summons. I showed time stamped pictures of my facia before and after showing damage from new nails matching your nail guns, presented to you in my BBB complaint. Its criminal when you do not abide by what you write into your customers roofing contracts. When you deny the pictured facts, it only confirms your poor reputation. No one should trust Texan Roofing and Tim Kana to modify their home when he will not honor their written contracts and you do not know what you will be paying. The facts are irrefutable. Potential customers should take note of the way you run your roofing business and that you did not and may not honor your future written contracts for installation or warrantee. You will regret using Texan Roofing and Tim Kana

I called ASAP; they initially advised that they were behind on schedule (makes sense due to the hurricane) so it would be a few days before they could get to me. Fortunately, once I gave my address they realized someone was in the neighborhood and they came and gave me a quote that same day. Wow! The quote was a fraction, I mean like an insane fraction, of what was being quoted to me by multiple parties. They also advised my roof had several more years left on it before I needed to consider replacement. The roofer was here within the time frame he advised, did one more final inspection to ensure he was fixing all the necessary areas and discussed them with us, finished and explained what he had done.
